Please note, melee weapons and other weapons that unique and individual do not appear here.

Weapon Roll Modifier means how does the weapon, in its basic form, influence your chance to effectively hit. Weapons that are inherently accurate will have a positive modifier, whereas weapons which are difficult to fire hold a negative modifier.

Encumbrance means the weight of the weapon. Your character's total Encumbrance cannot exceed the your character's fortitude.

Difficulty not to be confused with simple encumbrance, difficulty signifies how complex a weapon is to use effectively. It is calculated against your character's fortitude. Unlike encumbrance it does not stack up (as you only use one weapon at a time, naturally). Heavier, more complex weapons naturally require more physical aptitude to use effectively.

Upgrades: Upgrades allows you to know what possible upgrades the weapon can have installed.

Standard Weapon Upgrades

Most weapons can be upgraded with equipment which increases their combat efficiency. When you come by one such upgrade, assuming a character that has sufficient Mechanic skill is available, the upgrade can be installed into a weapon.



Laser-Dot Sight

Description: By placing a specialized laser pointer on parallel to the weapon's barrel, one can easily improve their accuracy. A red laser-dot appears where the weapon is aimed for, greatly improving accuracy. Although this isn't perfect (as the laser beam isn't compensating for windage, bullet drop and other such factors) it serves to increase weapon efficiency greatly.

Installing difficulty: -5 to -3

Effects: +2 to weapon rolls with the weapon. Allows a special attack: Aimed Shot - character takes one combat action to aim carefully and gains an additional +5 to weapon roll when they fire on the next action.



Sniper Scope

Description: An accurate sight with a magnifier which allows a steady shot to remain accurate even at great distances.

Installing difficulty: -3 to +2

Effects: +2 to weapon rolls with the weapon. Cancels the long-range to-hit penalty of the weapon. Allows a special attack: Critical Shot - Sniper takes one combat action to aim carefully and scores an accurate shot that ignores half of the enemy armor, cover and fortitude defensive rolls


Reflex sight

Description: A Reflex sight uses a light-reflection system to project a sight which only the shooter can see. It is in essence not very different than a laser-dot sight but is more accurate.

Installing difficulty: -3 to +2

Effects: +3 to weapon rolls with the weapon. Cancels the long-range to-hit penalty of the weapon. Allows a special attack: Aimed Shot - character takes one combat action to aim carefully and gains an additional +5 to weapon roll when they fire on the next action.


M6 Bayonet, M9 Bayonet, Russian Bayonet

Description: attaching onto the barrel of a rifle or assault rifle, a bayonet turns it into a capable makeshift spear.

Installing difficulty: -6 to -3

Effects: Allows use of the rifle as a melee weapon with a +3 to Melee rolls. When unattached, can be used as a knife with a +2 Melee roll.



Flashlight

Description: Attaching a flashlight to a weapon provides a way to quickly assess your character's targeting.

Effects: Increases weapon roll by +1


Telescoping Stock

Description: A telescoping stock at6tached to an Uzi SMG is the perfect remedy for the weapon's recoil issues without making the weapon any less easy to use in confined spaces.

Installing difficulty: +1

Effects: Increases weapon roll by +1 and eliminated the long range to-hit penalty of the UZI


Foregrip

(A standard M4 carbine with a foregrip)

Description: Providing extra maneuverability and control in close quarters, a foregrip attached under the barrel makes a rifle behave a much like a submachine gun in close quarters.

Installing difficulty: -6 to -4

Effects: Negates close-quarters penalties (if there are any) and increases weapon rolls against any enemy closer than 10 yards by 1.


Silencer

Description: Silencing a weapon makes it possible to use Stealth Kills. When facing a target that is unaware of the Character's presence or just unaware of the character's intentions (assuming said target isn't hostile), the character with the silenced weapon can attempt an attack that skips all defensive rolls and does not warn others to the shooter and their actions.

Installing difficulty: -3 to +2

Effects: Allows "Stealth Kill".



M203 Grenade Launcher

Description: The standard issue M203 grenade launcher allows the use of 40MM grenades on enemies.

Installing difficulty: -1 to +3

Effects: Allows use of 40 MM Grenades with the carrying rifle, with a roll equaling the character's related weapon skill but does not enjoy the advantages of other upgrades to the rifle.
