Solidus entered the halls of the residence wing, his helmet in the crook of his arm. The one he searched for was the ultimate paragon of light, the only one who might have the answers for him.

The receptionist at the desk was sobbing loudly, obviously devestated by the news of the days precedings.

"I need to speak with Sora. Where is he?" Solidus asked, rather roughshod. He knew that it would take longer to get it out of her the regular way, and time was a luxury that he no longer had.

"Either in the gym, his room, the pit of champions, Kairi's room, or out in the courtyard." She replied, obviously remember she had a job to do, even though her eyes were glazed over with moisture. It was clear that she couldn't see him though the tears in her eyes so she shrugged.

"I need to know where he is as of now. This is of highest importance." Solidus insisted, not angrily, but firmly.

"Chances are, he's in his own room at the moment, alone." She replied, regaining some of her composure.

"Thank you very much. And not all is lost." he told her, and walked down the hall, looking at the namplates of the rooms.

"Good thing they're alphabetical." Solidus muttered, his steps echoing down the long hall on the marble floor. Once he reached Sora's room, he stopped, regained his composure, and knocked on the door.

"Sora, it's Solidus. I need to ask you a few questions."

"Unless you know where Tifa and Roxas are, go away." Sora replied from behind the door. His voice didn't sound like he'd been crying, but it did sound upset.

"I'm here because I want to find Tifa. And Roxas is in the Bastion, with the betrayer Nixos. But to find Tifa, I need to talk with you, ask you some questions." Solidus implored Sora.

"...fine." Was uttered from the other side, followed by a click in the door. "Roxas isn't going to be in the Bastion for very long, and both me and Tails knew Nixos was working for Roxas. Anyone who he turns into a Nobody is going to be rotten to the core."

The door opened, and the room looked like a tornado had gone through it.

"What's even better is... Kairi's gone missing too."

Solidus looked Sora straight in the eye. His eyes softened when he viewed the teen's state.

"Go sit down son." he said gently, closing the door behind him.

"How can I sit down, when it seems like the multiverse is crashing down around us Solidus?" Sora asked in a distressed tone, "Ever since Roxas plunged himself into darkness, things have been getting worse and worse."

"I'd like you to sit down so I can explain something to you." Solidus eased Sora onto his bed, and crouched on his haunches, looking right at Sora, now level with the teenager.

"The multiverse is not a perfect place. I just try to live in it, go my own way, as you've noticed. I'm neither hero nor villain, just following my own path. I follow what hy heart tells me to do, what I view as the right thing to do, I keep my word. So long as you do what your heart tells you to do, you'll do fine."

"Right now, my heart is telling me to hunt down Roxas and settle this once and for all." Sora spouted back, fuming, "Something tells me as soon as he's gone, and a part of me again, everything will go back to normal, or at least as normal as we're used to."

He then turned his head to the side, glaring away from Solidus.

"But I've been told to wait... Namine explained to me that everything will fall itno place, and that Roxas and I will meet up when the time is right."

"Sora, I think that there is but one more step that you must take before meeting Roxas." Solidus stood, towering over the young teen.

"I think it is time you learned of the light. Come with me." Solidus walked to the door, and turned, waiting for Sora.

"Learned of the light? I know more about the light then most of the heroes here!" Sora stated with a raised eyebrow, but stood up anyway. "What kind of 'light' are you talking about?"

He made his way toward the door, curiosity peaked.

"The light takes many forms Sora." Solidus answered as they walked out towards a helipad where his harrier sat. "And my way is but one of them. But I need to ask you something before I give this to you."

Solidus turned to Sora, stopping abruptly. "Roxas is your nobody, and he and you are linked in ways even I cannot begin to fathom. But do you possess his memories?"

"Yeah." Sora replied, looking up at Solidus, "Namine's been intertwining our memories through dreams, why?"

"Good. Now, do you have Roxas's first memory? Where he began as a nobody?"

"Twilight Town... wait, are you going to look for Tifa?" The boy asked, raising an eyebrow.
