Paula had awaken before Edward. She changed into her clothes and had breakfast fixed while Edward was snoring on the couch, the blanket trailing onto the floor. She fixed a plate for him and set it on the table before going over to wake him up. She shook him softly. "Edward..." No response. She shook him harder. "Edward." She sent a thought into his sleeping mind. "Edward!" |

Edward shot up his blond hair sprawled over him as his foot got lodged into the couch cushion, this, mixing with the drug like affect of sleep still clinging onto his figure, sent him sprawling forward smashing down on the floor. His eyes swirled as his head hit his automail arm, hard. He shook it off and stood up yawning, he then looked over to her, in his clothes chuckling. "Did you have to rape my mind to wake me up?" |

Paula grabbed his head to look for a bruise. "When the normal means don't work," she laughed. "Yes." "I have some food on the table for you." |

He stood up levelling with her and leaned in wrapping his arms around her hips hugging her close. "Thanks." He then turned making his way to the table and grabbed a fork and knife, and sat down beginning to eat the food, savoring the flavor. "This is delicious." |

She followed him to the table and sat down across from him. "Thank you." she smiled at him. "I hope you don't mind that I raided your kitchen." |

"Hey, you've got to remember." A smile interrupted his sentence. "You live here to, It's your home as well as mine." He stood up and walked over to the sink bringing a glass down and fixed two cups of water bringing another back and handed it to her. He sat down again and clanked his glass against hers. "Cheers." He pulled the water up to his mouth taking a short sip and set it back onto the table, finishing his plate. |

"That's right." she said, taking the glass. "I'm home. Cheers." She watched him finish off the plate. "My that's an appetite, there are some more eggs in the skillet on the stove if you want them." She started to work on her own plate. |

Edward shook his head. "You should eat them, you must be starving after cooking for little old me." He said this joke then cussed repeatedly at himself. He washed the remaining dishes then turned to her. "I need to take a shower, I'll be back in a few minutes." He walked to the bathroom, and like her process last night, she could hear water spraying after a few minutes. |

Paula didn't need the extra food. While Edward showered, she found a container to store the eggs in and labeled it with the date so he'd know when they had been in the fridge too long. She went and sat on the couch, thinking about how she was getting ready to leave a home again. Why? Why leave here? she asked herself, but she already knew the answer. Since her time with Ness, she had been waiting for another journey and here she had manged to cross worlds. Her face had fallen into a stony, introverted gaze. |

Edward came out after a few minutes, he was neatly dressed, in what seemed like something that her grandfather's father would have worn. Edward's hair head been neatly tied back in a small bun as the rest of his blond hair fell back in braids, it fell down the front of his face in two scissor like blade's as usual. That one piece still sticking straight up. He wore a long white shirt, that seemed to be made of cotton, the collar was furled up and it had a set of buttons which ran all the way down, a brown vest was worn over it, with a pair of brown pants to match, his shoes looked like a pair of old black oxford's and he still wore his same white gloves. Coming around he took a seat beside her looking at her intently. "What are you thinking about?" |

She glanced at him as he sat down next her, noticing that he was wearing something different from yesterday. Something old-fashioned. Her eyes were drawn to that wayward hair, but then she returned to looking ahead. "Choices." she said simply. |

"You want to do something then relax all day don't you? You want an adventure?" He said as if he had red her mind. He ran his hand along the grooves of his auto mail arm, as if trying to figure something out, or pull something from it. "Can't say I blame you." |

"I'm supposed to be the psychic one, remember?" she said light-heartedly enough, but her expression was unmoved. She looked down at her palms. "I don't find anything thrilling in fighting, but I cannot believe that I've left my own world accidently, for no reason at all." her voice become flat. "There must be some purpose to it, there's always been a reason to for me to move forward before." |

His golden eyes sparkled as she spoke, oddly touched by her words. "I know what you mean, I know how I got here myself, just now why." He put his glove back on over his automail arm and took her hand in his. "You can't just sit down waiting for an adventure, you've got to go out there and make it happen." |

Her head fell back against the couch and she looked him through the corners of her eyes - they looked too old to be hers. "Then's there the fact that I don't want leave another home." |

"Your not going to leave me Paula, I'll be here, and if something happens. Just send a thought out to me, I'll be there for you in a jiffy, I may not be a psychic, but I'm sure you can send me thoughts." He rubbed her hand lovingly. "Also, I've got some things I want to give you, that might help you on your adventures." |

She leaned against him, her head resting on his shoulder. "Okay," she whispered. "Just... don't give them to me just yet..." She closed her eyes. |

He wrapped his arms around her, trying his best to comfort her. He wanted so badly for the automail arms to leave so he could comfort her more, with all of his being. He made sure his automail stayed safely in the sleeve so it wouldn't scratch up against her. He used his other arm to rub her affectionately. "I won't, I don't want you to leave, not now." |

She let him hold her, her face nestled at the base of his neck. She started to let her mental blocks go down, letting her calming-down emotions fill the air. The indesicion wasn't affecting her mind, just her heart. She didn't say anything. |

His caresses became smoother, but never anything more than calming. He laid his head against her kissing her head. He was at perfect peace, nothing else could have made him happier, his wonderful moment. Paula was his nirvana. |
