As the afternoon came around, a tired Chosen was found sitting on a couch in her room. Colette was currently waiting for a friend, having cleaned the area exceedingly well. She had a few bumps and bruises from falling sometimes her natural clumbsyness having taken over a few times. However, they were under her clothes and she preffered it that way anyway. She continued to wait for her friend faithfully, wondering if he would come. I wonder where he is? I hope he got my note today. (Crud, wrong character...) |

Mouse had indeed gotten a note, tied to a squirrel that attacked him that morning while he was sleeping under a tree. After he wrestled with the woodland creature, he read the note and made his way over. He went to wall below the window to Colette's room - because using the door was just boring. Digging his fingers into the crevices of the stone wall, he soon made his way to the window which was open so that the dust that Colette had been kicking up would have a place to air out from. Silently, Mouse entered the room and sat on the arm of the couch. "Hiya, Chosen One!" |

Colette leaped back a bit upon noticing Mouse was there but smiled, relaxing. "You scared me for a minute! How'd you get in here?" There was a large bowl nearby on a table, still warm and fresh from the kitchen. "I made some Cream Soup. Help yourself!" The table there was already set, a spoon and a bowl ready to be used. A few chairs were nearby and next to the table. "I hope you don't mind me making some dinner." (For a setting, it's late in the afternoon. Do you mind?) |

{Nope.} "Wow," Mouse said. "It's almost like you knew I'd be hungry after scaling the wall with my bare hands." Went over to the table and skipped the act of sitting down as well as the spoon. He just grabbed the bowl and drank the soup right from it. "That hit the spot. Thanks, you're a sweetheart." He went over and gave Colette a bear hug. |

Colette blushed a bit when Mouse hugged her but hugged back, returning the embrace. "you're welcome. I didn't expect you to climb up here though." She had eaten a bit of her food at this point and didn't really mind the hug, enjoying it in fact. |

Mouse drew back, laughing. "It's a surivial thing: Never do what is expected, because people who expect what is expected can lay down traps for when the other person does what is expected of them and then gets caught in the trap, as expected. Simple really." |

"But... You wern't really in danger." Colette seemd a bit concerned, thinking Mouse could have fallen and hurt himself on his climb. "You could have hurt yourself." |

"Constant vigilance, Colette!" Mouse said, a grin on his face. "I got your note via squirrel this morning. A squirrel... and it attacked me. I got scratches." He pulled his shirt collar open to show them. "Not exactly a confidence building way to retreive a note from fair maiden, how you got the squirrel to deliver the note is beyond me. So it could have been a setup, with someone just waiting for me to go down that hallway to get here. But so far, it isn't. Just you feeding this poor, lonely street rat." "And it wouldn't have been too bad of a fall. This is only the thrid story." |

Colette felt a bit bad for Mouse and what he did. "You still shouldn't have climbed up here... I would have gotten the door if you came to it." Suddenly, she gasped and ran off to the kitchen. "Oh no, I forgot about the cake!" She slipped and fell but managed to get back up, still headding towards the kitchen. |

Mouse followed Colette into the kitchen. "You worry too much Colette. If I fell, then I fall, but it was my decision and worring about what is done doesn't help you. It could cause wrinkles." |

Colette quickly put on some oven mits, opened the oven, and pulled the cake out, the tasty snack just fine. "Whew... The cake is alright." She got out some icing and a pair of spreading knives. "You wanna help me ice the cake?" |

"Okay," Mouse said, taking a spreading knife and weilding it like a butcher knife. "Show me what I'm doing?" |

Colette nodded and took a bit of frosting out of the container using her knife. She then spread it on the cake as a nice even layer, not covering much. "See? Just like that." |

Mouse held the containeer in oone hand and the spreading knife in another. He stuck the knife in to get some icing and then tried to pull it out, but it got caught on the lip of the container. The knife bent and soon catapulted the icing into Mouse's face right between the eyes. He stood still, then sat the container back down. With his now free hand, he scooped off some icing and tasted it, nodding his to the side: It was good. |

Colette chuckled a bit, looking around for a towel. Upon finding one, she gave it to Mouse for him to wipe his face off with. He's really cute... I'm glad he didn't get hurt on his way up here. |

"Thanks," Mouse said taking the towel. He wiped off the frosting with it. "I seem to keep hitting myself in the face with the oddest objects lately. I hit myself with a hundred pound yo-yo a couple of weeks ago." He tried the spreader again, getting a little frosting on it and tentatively applying it to the cake. |

Colette also helps, speading icing on te cake as well but watching Mouse closely, wanting to make sure he wouldn't hit himself with icing again. After a few minutes, the icing was spread on top of the cake and Colette picked up a small basket of strawberries. "Okay Mouse, do you wanna help me put some strawberries on top?" |

"Yeah I wanna help you put some strawberries on top." Mouse grabbed a handful and put one of them on top of Collete's head, balancing it just so. He grinned. |

Colette noticed Mouse putting the strawberry on her head and chuckled a bit. "On the cake, silly!" She continued to grin as she grabbed a few strawberries. placing them on the cake. She then reached in for a few more... (I'm pretty sure you know what happens next) |

Mouse had put a strawberry on the cake like he was supposed to, but as he drew his hand away he swiped some excess icing away from the side of the cake. While Colette reached in for more strawberries, he reached over and wiped the icing off on her lower lip. He moved his hand over to cup the side of her face and turn her to look at him. He had an intense look in his eyes and a small smile playing on his face. |
