Conquering the Island, Take 2; ...and call me in the morning...

The Fayth smiled, and walked through them, and through the closed door.

The soldiers looked confused, following through the gates to keep an eye on the Fayth. Bahamut's Fayth would soon find himself in the building with the mayor's wife walking around in the room. This wasn't quite the opportune time to be in the mayor's wife's room, as she was trying to find a suitable dress for some reason. As she turned, she saw the Fayth. ". . . . . . ."

But when she turned to look, Fayth wasn't there.
Back at the gates, Fayth went the other direction.

(it's really rather trippy to watch this happen in-game...)

The Fayth now found himself in the Mayor's front office. He was busy at "work" stamping on a keyboard as he watched a small computer screen. It wasn't very clear what he was doing, but it probably wasn't hard to assume that he was playing a game. He didn't notice the Fayth yet.

(Slight auto here...)

The fayth stood over the mayor's shoulder. "Red queen on black king." He pointed out.

(That actually works xD)

"Ah, yes, that's quite a good move. Thank you, sir," The mayor said in a joyful tone as he saw the move. He clicked a few more times on the mouse, what just happened dawning on him. Whirling around, he glared at the intruder, finding only the Fayth in a little boy's form. "Ah, little human, what do you need?" The fact that he never heard the Fayth enter clicked, "HOW'D YOU GET IN HERE?!"

Fayth smiled. "You can think of me as the Spirit of Rulership, Past Present and Future. For now, we need to talk."

"About what?" the mayor shouted, quietly pressing a button underneath the desk. He was glaring at the Fayth, but not really capable of doing anything because he was a very large pianta, not physically fit in any way shape or form. "I'll give you one minute!"

The Fayth smiled. "The only diference between you and the ignorant hicks outside is where you were born. You have been talking advantage of this, I have heard."

"Ha! Wrong! The difference between me and those hicks is the fact that I have an intelligence that is larger than my age. Most 'city slickers' can actually string together more than one word in a sentence. Now if you're here on their behalf, I'll give you ten seconds to get out before I have the Ghost Busters come in here and escort you out! GO!" The mayor slammed on the button hard. The Fayth could now hear several feet stomping down the hall, coming closer to their room. Would Bahamut fight, or would he flee?

Fayth shook his head. "A pity about your house." As the door banged open, he was gone as if he had never been.

Overhead, startled onlookers pointed as strange sympols appeared in the sky. Something seemed to be moving toward the runes... and as it passed them, it materialized as a dragon. Hovering over the mayor's house, he began to concentrate, the ring on his back starting to spin.

(RP Mega Flare, setup post 1)

A soldier charged into the mayor's room, sounding panicked. "We've gotta run, Mister Mayor! HURRY!" The mayor didn't have time to respond. He was being rushed out quickly without being able to say a single word. The mayor was becoming furious, angry to see such a show of aggression.

Someone came to the rescue, though. She wore a hood over her face, very similar to the Fayth. Bahamut could see this girl saying something to the mayor, but couldn't quite hear it. Nobody else but Bahamut and the Mayor seemed to notice the girl.

[RP fight set up  ]

(Just trying to destroy the house... is the Girl anyone I know? Tiamat, say?)

The ring on his back began to spark, and Bahamut began to draw power, colletting it in his paws and mouth. Still hovering, he took aim at the rapidly emptying house.

[aww, too predictable?]

The Mayor's eyes widened as he could obviously tell that Bahamut was about to destroy his wonderful mansion. He started stammering, waving his chubby little arms around madly and hopping up and down in an attempt to distract Bahamut long enough to prevent said destruction. Looking at the girl, he choked out, "DO IT!"

Tiamat cackled loudly, jumping into the air and taking on her dragon form that was very similar to Bahamut's, but with clear differences. She didn't have a ring on her back, but rather an extra set of wings. Her neck was slightly longer than Bahamut's, but her horns were shorter. She was also a very light steel grey rather than black. "Bahamut, Bahamut, Bahamut. Why do you insist on destroying?"

Oh come now, sister dear. You should know, after all these minenia, that I always try my allies by fire before I join them. They must prove themselves worthy... something that pitiful fool could never do.

The energy coalesed, and a beam of incredible power blasted out toward Tiamat, where she flew between the mansion and the King of the Dragons.

(Well, when it's my evil twin, but a girl, the choices are somewhat limited...^_^)

[Tiamat's a female in mythology, so that's how I usually refer to her]

The light grey dragon's wings arked out swiftly, hanging tightly for a few brief seconds as the beam of energy came ever closer to her. When the mega flare was within around six feet, Tiamat flapped all four wings at once after creating much strain on them. She was propelled upwards and over the beam, energy starting to form in her own mouth. Come now, brother, you're supposed to be the good one!

(I know. The babolonian creation-goddess, Tiamat. In Games, including D+D, Tiamat is opposed by Bahamut, which made it easy to predict your choice.)

Oh please, don't give me that trite crap. You know as well as I that I have a Dark side.

Bahamut dove at her, spending his altitude to gain a speed advantage as he attempted to rake her with claws.

Tiamat shrieked, grabbing Bahamut's claws with her own. His size was overwhelming though, and his gained speed didn't help matters much. She was knocked back, but still held tight to her brother. Oh silly brother, you may be dark, but you just don't have the HEART to kill! At the keyword "heart," Tiamat spat the quick beam of energy at Bahamut's chest, right where the dragon's heart should probably be.

Bahamut, seeing Tiamat bow her long neck to his heart, headbutted her, throwing her aim off. The blast scorched both their bodies as it fell to the ground below. Even if that was true, sister, we are both immortal children of Io. I could defeat you, but never kill you, nor you me.

With this, Bahamut began another attack. Dark fire appeared on Bahamut's wingspurs, and in the claws that heald Tiamat, forcing her to let go. With a motion of his wings, he threw all four energy blasts at Tiamat, which would explode on contact.

(Alright, now I'm using a bit of D+D mythos between us...)

Tiamat spun her body, her wings closing in tightly to her as she spun in an attempt to dodge the orbs of energy. Two of them shot past her and ended up colliding into each other, creating an explosion that destroyed a few buildings below. The third was sent down into the mayor's mansion by a quick shock of energy from Tiamat's mouth. The fourth, however, slammed into one wing, immobilizing it. She shrieked in pain, falling in altitude maybe thirty feet. A dark purple started forming in Tiamat's eyes.
