Bahamut took the space he'd cleared himself to cast Haste. Now moving faster, he began to circle the other dragon, ready against her attack. |

Magic, brother? Hahahaha! Fine, I'm game. The dark purple light flashed out, spreading across the sky quickly. Bahamut would notice all the piantas below them stopping in their places as the dark clouds started forming in the sky. Care to play a game of Russian Roulette? If you don't like people dying, you'll accept the lightning bolts or else you'll see those pathetic creatures get evaporated. Heeheehee. |

Bahamut smiled. Oh, I think you've missed a few bets. Bahamut cast a pair more spells on himself, and waited. |

The female Dragon queen cackled loudly, watching the lightning bolts flashing off of Bahamut's spell bound body and into the city below. The Dragon King could hear the piantas screaming in pain as they died. Buildilngs started to get destroyed, and within minutes they were floating over a half-ruined city. You do realize that if this keeps up, you won't have a country to rule or whatch over, whatever it is you're doing. |

Except the spells were not going into the crowd. The bolts absorbed by the spell Reflect began to rain down on their caster, Tiamat, just as accurately as when she cast them. Bahamut dove foreward, raking the other dragon with his claws again. White magic vs Black... care to try strengths? He lept back, and hastened he began to cast Osmose. |

Only, the lightning did strike the crowd. Tiamat hadn't been focusing the lightning attacks upon Bahamut at all. She was wanting to destroy this island so her brother couldn't control it. This probably stemmed from jealousy. As Bahamut was coming in for another swipe with his claw, he would be meeting the large tail of Tiamat to his face. |

...whereupon the second of bahamut's two quick spells, Protect, deflected the attack harmessly aside. Black Magic is rather too restrictive for my taste, sister. It's good for nothing but destruction. Other areas, however, are more fruitful. Casting a quick Slow on Tiamat, Bahamut proceded to slash Tiamat across the wings. |

Tiamat was slashed deep enough to knock her to the ground. Her large body smashed more buildings, several more piantas getting squashed by her body. Standing, Tiamat flipped so she landed back on all four claws, energy starting to charge into her mouth with her wings arking out widely with power building up. |

Bahamut landed directly in front of her, also going down on all fours. As you wish, let us use our main strengths. The ring on his back began to spin, as he gathered energy himself for an epic clash. |

Fool! Tiamat screeched, the energy in her mouth reaching a peak. Her head cocked back, her neck arking as she opened her mouth as wide as she could. The ball of energy shot out into a huge, black beam that appeared to be destroying everything in its path. The mayor just happened to be ahead of Bahamut and in the beam's path. If he were eliminated, the piantas would look at Bahamut and blame the dragon for his death because he hadn't done his job to protect. That would not sit well with anyone and he wouldn't be able to take charge. |

Destroying your own puppet, I see. Well, allow me to deny you the pleasure. [Neo Bahamut, FF7] Standing back up with a surge, his claws went over his head. Releacing some on the power he'd gathered, a massive section of ground under Tiamat began to lift into the sky. Looking up at the dwindling mass, he fired the rest of the power at the underside, A massive beam that disintigrated earth and burnt through to Tiamat planted on the other side. |

Tiamat fell back to earth with a dull thud, her body slamming down and destroying more buildings. She was struggling to get up, her eyes showing that she wasn't ready to give up quite yet. I'll turn this town into a wasteland before I'm dismissed! Her body exploded in a bright light, and for the longest time nothing seemed to happen. The surviving piantas were all dirty and curious to see what was going to become of their small town when one spotted a large meteor falling from the sky. "We'll surely be crushed!" they all started shouting in agony. Any who tried to escape would find large pieces of debris blocking their paths out, trapping everyone inside. Bahamut could tell that not even his Mega Flare could destroy something like that without having serious consequences. |

Bahamut kneeled, placing his paws on the ground. He had never attemted a white magic of this power before, so he began to draw power from his ring to help him with the casting. He reached out, touching the very essence of the island. He could feel the power of the shine sprites, and channeling Holy through them, as he might channel it through Gaia or the Lifestream on another world, he drew them together to meet this apocoliptic threat. The Shine Sprites circled Shine Gate, glowing white with the power of Holy, a pillar of light beneath the raging inferno of Meteor. Bahamut focused harder, and they began to glow brighter, spinning faster. The spell was bigger than even he could handle. He could feel his power draining into the spell, his very soul feeding the greatest white magic in existance... Holy. The Shine Sprites lept upward, their glow too bright to look at. They masked Meteor with their power, like a second sun in the sky, and for a moment they glowed even brighter. Then the light went out, and the Shine Sprites fell to earth, their power spent. Meteor was gone. Bahamut attempted to stand, but staggered and almost fell. He looked at Tiamat. Leave this place. Never come back. |

He noticed that Tiamat had long since disappeared. The biggest thing Bahamut could see now that the large meteor had vanished was a mostly destroyed town. The mayor was nowhere to be found and all the piantas were very dirty with mud caking their bodies. Bahamut would probably have to start rebuilding, searching for the mayor, or rest to try and regain energy from that large Holy attack. |

(what, no BP?) Bahamut stood up, then allowed himself to dissolve. The little boy stood in his place, and began looking for shelter. It was time to rest, and he was too obvoius as a dragon to remain unmolested for long. |

[Hm, .5 BP. No, there's not anything else. You're taking over, you'll have to go with what you get.] When Bahamut came back to conciousness, the town was still in complete chaos. The mayor was still missing and the mayor's wife had fallen ill. Things for this town were going from bad to worse. Bahamut could hear someone saying something about how they hoped the other towns weren't facing anything like this. The Dragon King would now realize had a long road ahead of him, and the first step would determine the path. He would have to look for the mayor, or move on and leave these beings to fend for themselves. |

The Fayth began to search the city for the mayor, looking through rubble and debrie in case the mayor was trapped. |

That couldn't have been the case. He was standing close to Bahamut after much of the city had been destroyed. Unless he had been trapped before the meteors came, but people had said he vanished before then. Several possibilities seemed true, but him being trapped under rubble didn't seem to be one of them. |

There was one possibility that occured to Bahamut. Fayth asked if the Mayor had vanished at the same time as Tiamat. |

Nobody responded to what the Fayth had asked. Apparently, nobody had known if he was referring to them or if he was referring to somebody else, so they had assumed he was referring to somebody else. |
