Sorry for the one liner, but... Fayth goes looking for an information desk.

The only one there could have been was in where the mayor's house once stood, and that was now a smoldering pile of scrap and shrapnel. The pianta running it was outisde the gate, a large piece of metal sticking through her stomach. She didn't look too fit to be answering questions.

[you're going to have to actually rp it out. I'm not going to RP anything out for you]

There were dirty piantas walking around, not sure what to do or where to go. It was just a matter of picking out who to ask.

(Arg! You have hit my weak point, for MASSIVE DAMAGE!)

The Fayth went to the Fire department, going to survey the damage.

[and if you don't start going over one sentence per post, things are going to go to hell for you]

The fire department was destroyed, just like everything else just about. The police station was right next door, also destroyed. The hospital's southern and western half were destroyed, the north and the east damaged heavily. The library was still burning, the food stores were just barely kept together, and a few other stores seemed to be in fair condition.

Fayth nodded and Turned to the crowd. "Pinatas of Isle Delphino! We need to clear the streets of debrie so help can arrive! Everything we need would be in the Fire department, so we just need to unbury one building. Do you hear me?"

You're trying to take charge of Isle Delfino? This one city won't lead you to total control, Master Bahamut A voice echoed in the Dragon King's mind. It was a mysterious voice, the gender not possible to be specified quite yet. Meanwhile, the piantas of this specific town were rallying together, agreeing with what the Fayth had said. A pianta who looked like a commoner, yet whose essence echoed that of a great leader, stepped forward. "Come on, piantas! Let's get moving, the mayor's missing and we have no time to waste! MOVE IT, MOVE IT, MOVE IT!" More piantas joined in, glad to be helping. "What do you want us to do?" said leader asked the Fayth.

"We need to get the city functioning, then check the other towns. The others might not have had a dragon battle, but there was certantly enough special effects being thrown around to make trouble elsewhere on the island."

Bahamut concentrated on replying to the voice. First things first. A rallyed mob is one of the strongest forces in existance... I'd advise against standing in it's way.

I don't plan on interfering. I'm merely a (Holy) Judge of Existances the voice responded. The leader pianta immediately rallied the piantas of the town together, giving out orders quickly. The piantas obliged and went out, taking care of various buildings. The biggest force, though, started tending to the fire house. Another voice, this one clearly demonic, What are you doing getting involved with the mortals, Bahamut? You're interfering too much! Silence, Ifrit! He is still aiding them. He's trying to take over a mortal settlement. That is clearly interfering more than we are supposed to as guardians. The other voice had no response to this.

Fayth faded into the backround, as he continued his conversation with his fellows.

Greetings, Alexander. I had you confused with Tiamat for a moment. At the moment, I am more focused on restoring balance to these isles, righting the present inequality between the opressed rural folk and the ruling classes. In an aside to Ifrit, he added, Shouldn't you be off playing with Shiva, boy?

Bahamut soon found himself in a dark, circular room with the other Espers present. Ifrit stepped forward angrily, his fist shaking at Bahamut. Do not insult me, Dragon! Ifrit, Bahamut! Cool yourselves. ENOUGH OF THIS! If you aren't going to assist, then back down and stay quiet! Thank you, Ramuh. Now, Bahamut, bringing peace to the island and taking control of the island are two seperate things. What are your true intentions here?

You have heard, have you not, the awakening of the being called Jake the Bastard? His power, though shattered into a dozen shards, is still far greater than any of us. He nodded to the other great espers: Alexander, Leviathan, and Odin. We have not been joined by a Final Esper, as in the past. There is no Eden, no Knights of the Round, no Anima to lead the way before vanishing as if it never was. Our duty as guardians is not to any one world, but to the multiverse as a whole, and it is my hope that this place can help make me strong enough to deal with this threat.

It's a noble cause, Odin said, snapping his fingers to summon his six legged horse Sleipnir to him. I'm willing to assist you, Bahamut. Then I'm afraid you two will be on your own. Until we are actually summoned by those within the multiverse, we are not to interfere as you two are doing. Cowards, the lot of you. I'm in.

Bahamut nodded to Diablos. Welcome. I understand you are somewhat new here. Respect your elders, and you will do well. He then turned to Odin. Leaving Zanzuken home? How sporting of you.

(OOC: I take it you mostly play FF8.)

[FF8 was the first Final Fantasy I ever really got into, FF4 being the first one I actually played. FF9 is my favorite overall though ]

Zantetsuken was lost when I was thrown into the Multiverse the first time. I still hadn't found it when I ascended back to the Espers All right, sure, Bahamut. Some of those Espers just get on my nerves with their constant squabbling. The dark room vanished and was replaced by the destroyed town, which was already looking much better. Odin's Fayth was similar to that of Bahamut's, only his clothing was all white with a golden horse symbol on his back. He had pale-ish skin, his eyes hidden by the hood. Diablo had darkly tanned skin, his clothing being all black with some red symbols drawn over the cloth.

(yes, FF9. Bahamut does NOT disrespect Alexander... not anymore...)

(Most of the Fayth were adults. Bahamut was the exception.)

Here. You may use this, while we are together. Bahamut passed the Gaia Gear to Diablos. Now, we need to find the mayor, and either convince him of the error of his ways, or keep him out of the way for that new fellow to took over for me.

[bah, these two are gonna be kids so they look like they fit in with you....except for Odin. -from now on Odin's Fayth is an adult- Also, you're going to be controlling Odin and Diablo in the fight scenes]

Diablo's Fayth smirked, telling the other two that he'd go on the search for the Mayor as they helped with the clean up committee. Odin said he'd take care of clean up leading if Bahamut wanted to do other things. That left the King of Dragons to do Recon work, construction, or somethign else not quite listed here that's within reasonable bounds.

(It was kinda implied by the way stats were givin to me, but I'm glad that's official.)

Bahamut went out on recon, summoning himself ouside of city limits and flying a perimiter, looking for any sign of the mayor on foot, possibly back at the village he'd first appeared in.

[you givin' me lip, boy? That's it, you're fighting the Knights of the Round with no PDPs. HAHAHAHAHA!]

Bahamut did indeed find the mayor, though something about him seemed wrong. His skin was of many different colors and he was flashing with these many different colors. He turned, his voice crackling loudly and going in and out of a high pitched screech to a low pitched growl, BaHaMuT! wE wIlL gLaDlY kIlL yOu!! The pianta facade was dropped, Hades forming out of the carcass of the actual mayor who instantly showed how long he had been dead by rotting into a mere skeleton.

Since Odin and Diablo were working the town, they didn't know what kind of position Bahamut was in, so they'd have to be summoned if things got too bad.
