Bahamut cast Fira on the redead-like minihades, protected from harm by his belt and natural resistance to fire. Quick little things. I really need to get around to remastering Haste. It's annoying to only be able to use it in some fights. Fira: 9 fire damage and 4 damage/round burn on the redead attacking Bahamut Odin HP: 28 EP: 21 DP: 4 LP: 0 Trait [Divine Swordsman] +1 with all weapon based attacks, +1 taken from all shadow attacks Attacks [Divine Lance] Slashes one target for 6 slashing damage [Steel Bladed Sword] Deals 3 slashing damage to 3 targets in a strife [3 EP] Bahamut HP: 50 EP: 14 |

The mini-hades was burnt into ash, leaving the others to stumble back at the pure show of might. They were, for some reason stunned briefly, even though this wasn't out of the ordinary at all. [no action] (8/20/3)x3(15/20/3)x4 |

Bahamut lit another on fire. Now this is odd... Fira: 9 fire damage and 4 damage/round burn on an unwounded mini-hades. Odin HP: 28 EP: 21 DP: 4 LP: 0 Trait [Divine Swordsman] +1 with all weapon based attacks, +1 taken from all shadow attacks Attacks [Divine Lance] Slashes one target for 6 slashing damage [Steel Bladed Sword] Deals 3 slashing damage to 3 targets in a strife [3 EP] Bahamut HP: 51 EP: 13 |

The mini-Hades slowly stepped back, watching Bahamut and Odin carefully. They almost seemed afraid of the two Espers, though it was entirely possible that something else was behind Bahamut, waiting to strike at him. Still, they stepped back slowly, their eyes focused more on either Bahamut or something just a little behind his shoulder. [no action] (2/20/3)(8/20/3)x3(15/20/3)x3 |

Acting on sudden intuition, Bahamut turned, throwing a fire blast directly behind him. (really short action, so not much I can add to that...) Fira: 9 fire damage and 4 damage/round burn on new target, if any. Odin HP: 28 EP: 21 DP: 4 LP: 0 Trait [Divine Swordsman] +1 with all weapon based attacks, +1 taken from all shadow attacks Attacks [Divine Lance] Slashes one target for 6 slashing damage [Steel Bladed Sword] Deals 3 slashing damage to 3 targets in a strife [3 EP] Bahamut HP: 52 EP: 12 |

There was nothing. So, while the mini-hades weren't exactly the smartest creatures ever, they sure knew how to trick one. Three mini-hades leapt forward at once, attempting to attack Odin all at once to keep him from doing any more harm to the army. [bite>18>Odin] (2/20/3)(8/20/3)x3(15/20/3)x3 |

Odin, ready on the defence, slashed the three as they charged, blunting their charge. Bahamut, this is not the time to swat flies. 1/3 dodge 3 times Steel blade- 3 damage to Mini #1, 4 damage to #2 and #3. Odin HP: 16 EP: 18 DP: 1 LP: 0 Trait [Divine Swordsman] +1 with all weapon based attacks, +1 taken from all shadow attacks Attacks [Divine Lance] Slashes one target for 6 slashing damage [Steel Bladed Sword] Deals 3 slashing damage to 3 targets in a strife [3 EP] Bahamut HP: 53 EP: 13 |

The Mini-Hades were surprised to see their attack get ruined like that. One of the stronger ones snuck forward, leaping onto Odin and squeezing tightly, hoping to pin him down and stop him from doing anything else to the mini-hades when they struck next. Bahamut quickly turned back. Sorry. Let me help you with that. He spammed another Fira, blasting the Minihades that attacked Odin. Fira: 9 Fire + 4 damage/round burn on groping Minihade. Odin HP: 14 EP: 18 DP: 1 LP: 0 Trait [Divine Swordsman] +1 with all weapon based attacks, +1 taken from all shadow attacks Attacks [Divine Lance] Slashes one target for 6 slashing damage [Steel Bladed Sword] Deals 3 slashing damage to 3 targets in a strife [3 EP] Bahamut HP: 54 EP: 12 |

Though weakened by the flames, the Mini-Hades held tightly, biting into Odin's neck deeply as it waited for the attack that would kill it. The others shifted around, watching Odin and Bahamut carefully, none making any moves to attack quite yet. [Bite>6+2>Odin] (2/20/3)(4/20/3)x2(8/20/3)(15/20/3)x2 |

As the Minihades on him immolated itself, Odin slashed again. When this is over, I'm going to need your nifty auto-regen accessory. 4 damage continuing burn on #1 Steel Sword- 4 to #2 and #3, 3 to #4 Odin HP: 6 EP: 15 DP: 1 LP: 0 Trait [Divine Swordsman] +1 with all weapon based attacks, +1 taken from all shadow attacks Attacks [Divine Lance] Slashes one target for 6 slashing damage [Steel Bladed Sword] Deals 3 slashing damage to 3 targets in a strife [3 EP] Bahamut HP: 55 EP: 13 |

Three of the miniature Fallen Espers were blown away by the attack. The fourth one that was being attacked dodged out of the way, mocking Odin with a long tongue that was about the length of the creature's arm. This tongue hopped out of the creature's mouth, squirming up to Odin and lashing the Swordsman viciously. [bite>6>odin] (8/20)(15/20/3)x2 |

Bahamut cast Fira once more, as Odin swatted aside the tounge-lashing. Fall back. Let me handle this! Very well. I will wait for you. (Odin withdraws from the battle with 2 HP, 0 DP) Fira: 9 Fire, 4 burn/round to #3 Bahamut HP: 56 EP: 12 |

The Mini-Hades threw up its hand--literally. All the flames coming from Odin were stopped by the hand, which in turn was incinerated and utterly destroyed. Meanwhile, that very skeleton-thing ran up to Bahamut and tried taking a large bite out of the Dragon King. [chomp>6>Bahamut] (8/20)(15/20/3)(15/20) |

The Lord of Dragonkind was more able to defend himself against this kind of assault than the King of Asgard. With Odin no longer around, he was able to take his time, and start building his mana back up. He charged foreward, slashing at the most wounded of the Hades. 7 slashing damage to #1 Bahamut HP: 55 EP: 13 |

That mini-hades had his jaw swiped off, the bone fallilng somewhere in a village where the people there would see it as a divine object from the Heavens themselves. They would start worshipping that jaw bone, creating an entire church that spread across all the island. Then, people would start to interpret the bone in different ways, believing that their interpretation was closest to the original happenings and why the gods would send down this bone. Wars would be started over these misinterpretations, and thousands upon thousands of people would die in these wars. Eventually, that race would wipe itself out because of the wars, the very last people getting hunted down by Piantas who hunted them and then didn't even use all the meat, skin, and bone that could have been used. The weakened minihades stumbled forward, lodging his upper teeth into Bahamut's thick hide, having no idea at all about what would result from his lower jaw bone landing so many miles away. Nor would he ever know, because any attack that came next would surely kill him. [chomp>6>Bahamut] (1/20)(15/20/3)(15/20) |

Bahamut slashed it once more, sending the remaining pieces in an arc after the first jawpiece. They rained down across the entire village, narrowly avoiding several villagers. Then Bahamut roared, and it echoed across the entire valley, his draconic silluette visible for miles. 7 slashing damage to #1 Bahamut HP: 54 EP: 14 |

Fire rose up out of the ground, a large meteor shooting down from the sky and towards the last two minihades. Ifrit kicked a large chunk of earth that the two monsters were standing on up, into the meteor charging down. There was a huge explosion of rock and fire, but in the end there were no mini-hades. Hmph. With that, Ifrit vanished. [1 bp, .5 xp] |

Bahamut silently saluted the vanished Esper, then turned to go find Odin, who was in need of his aid. (BP to Dark shard) |

Though wounded severely, Odin wasn't too bad off. He was holding pressure to one of the deeper wounds near his neck, his eyes closed calmly. Hm, vicious beasts they are. How are you faring, Bahamut? |
