Bahamut passed his Gaia Gear to the norse god and squatted down beside. Well enough. Slightly fatigued, but it was to be expected. I was far better prepared for that battle than you were, but I have been gearing up to go against Jake for some time.

Odin refused the gear, smiling calmly. This body may pass, but that doesn't mean that I'll be killed. I'd just need to go back and rest for a while. You do need that, but if you leave, you can't go back. Diablo stepped forward in his human form, his head bowed as to avoid looking at either of the other two Espers.

Bahamut requipped the gear, and turned toward Diablos You have news, Diablos?

I do, actually. Some that neither of you will be too happy about. But first, Odin, why don't you go ahead and dismiss yourself?[/black] But, I'm fine. I just need Odin was cut short as a ball of black energy crushed the body Odin had taken on for Isle Delfino. His body dissipated in a silvery white light. Turning back to Bahamut, Diablo smiled. He wasn't any good, anyway.

{Odin Dismissed}

Not a big one for compassion, are you? So, did you have a good reason for that, or am I about to teach you to respect your elders?

He would have been nothing but a hinderance to us. Think about it, injured, too noble to accept something that might heal him over time. He would have held us back more than he would have helped us, Bahamut. Diabolo looked at Bahamut, the image flashing once as the true body of Diabolo became apparent. Besides, I'm more capable because I'm younger.

So what is the reason you alluded to, that he could not return at full power? The line between ruthlessness and waste is very thin, child. Bahamut spoke in a warning tone.

Are you going to dismiss me and go on trying to take over this land alone? HA! You won't be able to do it. Especially not since I know some of the Fallen who are in hiding here. Diablo turned his back, exposing himself for a strike by Bahamut intentionally.

Killing you where you stand would be wasteful, true, but do not think you have a monopoly on ruthlessness. Bahamut grabbed one of diablos's wings and wrenched him around. What are the others we are up against?

It wouldn't be any fun if I told you, now would it? Heh heh heh. You'll find out. there's one on the coast waiting for us. He was trying to look strong, even though the twisted wing was starting to really hurt the demonic espier.

Bahamut suddenly had a very eerie grin. Fun. I suppose you might consider knowing something I don't fun... For now... Bahamut's hide began to flicker, flickering from grey/blue to orange/black, and back. You don't want me to have to make you tell me. Trust me.

Dark Bahamut wrenched Diablos's wing again, to get his point across. in the other paw, he becan to charge a bolt of dark energy.

Diablos laughed loudly again, he winced, the laughter stopping abruptly as he dropped down to his knees. His eyes closed as he took in deep breaths. Kill me then, Bahamut. Remove me from this world. Did he want to die? Maybe he deserved to get dismissed.

You miss the point of the excercise, pathetic child. You will stay here untill you tell me what I want to know. After that, I have no reason to care.

Bahamut brought the darkenergy into contact with Diablos's other wing. I'm not interested in prolonging this, however, he added, and it began to burn away at the demon. If you tell me, I can let you off easy.

And what if I have no intentions on telling you anything? I can think of about three Fallen who are raging about this island, slowly kililng it and you're here trying to get me to tell you who they are! HAHA! Screw you, Bahamut. I'll sooner die and join their ranks.

Another grin. Ah, but you have already told me much of what I need to know. You have said there is 3, with one on the coast. Where are the other two? Dark Bahamut had no intention of killing the Dark Messanger. Pain, however, was simply a means to an end.

Heh heh heh heh...hahahahahahahaha! Goodbye, Bahamut. I dismiss myself. Darkness started overtaking Diablo. Though he wasn't sure if he'd be able to get out completely and away from Dark Bahamut, it was still worth the attempt to get away.

Hah. You flee after only a few seconds... pathetic child. Dark Bahamut let the esper flee, dispercing into a cloud of bats and crows. Too weak to be worth allying with. Begone.

Dark Bahamut set off toward the coast, as Diablos had informed him. As he calmed down, his scales began to flicker back to his more normal color.

"MORE!? OH no! Oh no!" the citizens were crying as they saw Bahamut coming in from the sky. A few soldiers brought out cannons, but they suddenly felt as though it wouldn't do any good to try and shoot at the dragon. Probably coming from the experience of fighting whatever sinspawn was here. Speaking of Sin spawn...a large creature slowly rose from the waters, a much, much, much weakened version of the Sin that Bahamut knew.

Bahamut rose over the smaller Sin. Powerful, but not very mobile, as I recall.

Bahamut dove to attack, ready to test his theory. Comunication would be pointless... Sin was unable to speak back.

Sin immediately opened up the battle by releasing a large wave of small sinspawn that landed in the town. They opened up and started attacking the people, some of them growing wings and flying up to interfere with Bahamut.
