Zexion eyed the broken warehouse suspiciously. The rumours he had heard on his return were partially correct: Tower's Gate was a wreck. Explosive shells and shrapnel sat as the only reminder that gods simply didn't just smite the tower themselves. Though he wasn't truly interested for their benefit, the nobody went directly to the local warehouse. He hoped to scrounge up some of his old equipment, as well as perhaps a few old acquaintances.

"Well, well. Long time no see, little Zexxy." A voice suddenly rang from the warehouse door, as the Redheaded Somebody walked in. He looked at Zexion carefully.... The Nobody had changed since his death. Just by looking, Alex could tell. "It's too bad what happened with Vexen's little puppet. I tried to stop that thing, you know he's vicious!" Alex said, smirking as he took a step closer, examining Zexion more. The palm of his hand was facing backwards toward the door so Zexion wouldn't see them. And knowing what his response would be to seeing the once Axel, a small flame began to form in that palm.

"Well your sense of flamboyancy hasn't changed" Zexion said without looking away from his work. More preoccupied by the charred contents of a crate then the flame nobody's presence. Jangling at his side though was a toughened leather bound book, which for some odd reason seemed to be as actively interested in Alex as a book could be. Dark power seeping inches away from the book attempting to reach Axel as if to strangle him. Pulling out a blackened pan Zexion flexed its handle. Turning around to face his past coworker "So is this all thats happened? A useless tower destroyed? Surely you all could do better"

Zexion's words and actions came as a surprise. Not even a hint of wanting revenge? Not even a hint of at least hating the man for what he did during Zexion's last minutes alive? Nothing. The flame in Alex's palm dissipated, and the Somebody focused more on the topic of why the hell Zexion was in here anyway. Taking a step closer Alex looked at the supplies, and then the Darkened book. "So, just what is it that you're doing in here anyway?"

"Looking for something" he said calmly, tossing the pan aside and looking into the box once again with determination. Tossing aside cookware as well as several charred animals. Though the book at his side didn't end its vain assault and clinked wildly on its chain. Zexion's words were calm, cold even, launching a particularly large dead rat to Alex's feet Zex turned again to the other nobody "Have you seen a small ornate iron key? I need to unlock this book"

Something clicked in Alex's mind at the thought of the book. Most of it was probably just his imagination but.... "N-No. What's so special about the book anyway?" The Somebody said, acting, or at least trying to act, calm and serious. Something just wasn't right, and that book just might be why. The key was another thing. The book couldn't be used without the key, which would explain Zexion's ignorance of Axel. It would also explain that the Somebody would have to find that key first.

Something twitched in Zexion's eye, a sign of detection Axel only knew in passing. Muttering something to himself Zexion took a step in Axel's direction "Are you sure..?" the book practically seethed with dark energy. Bits of darkness fading just feet away from where Axel stood, the book's attempts to take vengeance "because you don't seem very sure"

A smirk returned to Alex's face as he looked towards Zex. "I'm sure." His eyes stared at the book, but eventually, he turned his attention to finding the key, as he scanned the floor for it. Finding nothing, he looked back at Zexion and the book. He took a step closer to Zexion, keeping his eyes on the book. He had two options here, and either one of them would keep Zexion at bay.

"Though you seem a bit..." Zexion took another step forward, his voice suddenly gaining a demonic inflection "..uncomfortable, anything wrong?" the book was practically horizontal off his waist trying to reach Axel at this point. Darkness permeating the air around the vile literature in a wide arc.

A Dark Corridor opened, a hooded figure slowly emerging from it. He wore two black gloves, and their previous owner now stood before him. He stared at Zexion, letting his hood rest against his back, grinning. He knew Zexion was one of the original Nobodies, and he knew Alex was as well. He wouldn't pa Alex much attention, but Zexion was different. "Welcome back Zexion. I must say, you look rather pale."

"Pale you say?" The book suddenly retracted its forces. Seeming to return to its facade of being a harmless piece of bound paper. Turning to face Nixos, Zexion looked somewhat puzzled "I don't see why, though with those gloves of mine have you seen a key?"

Nixos examined the gloves, slowly stripping them off his hand. He held them tightly, looking at Zexion. He grinned, hoing he could gain Zexion's support in the up coming war. He walked over to Zexion, and shook his head. "No key, just these gloves. I've got a small request to make, will you hear me out?"

Nixos put the gloves back on, looking at the nobody gently, his eyes showing no hate. He raised his gloved hands up, tightening his fists, and felt the darkness emitted from the gloves surge through his body. "I've got a deal."

"A deal?" Zexion said showing a bit more interest now in Nixos. His gaze switching over to Nixos, a palm on the book (of which seemed to rustle in response to the Gloves). "What do you mean?"

"A simple exchange really. You get your gloves back in the end. You help me learn as much about the Sanctuary of Light as possible. In return, you can have your gloves back, and I might thrown in another reward." Nixos grinned, smirking at Zexion, his attention being drawn to the book. It was rather hypnotizing, and something about it kept Nixos's attention upon it. "Just help me and Roxas."

"Welcome back, Zexion." From the shadows of the grungy and dusky warehouse appeared the nobody of pure mystery, Xemnas. There he stood, looking upon the nobodies with no emotion what-so-ever. He didn't even seem to mind Alex in the vicinity, paying the boy no mind. He closed his eyes, crossing his arms in a calculative manner. His head lowered slightly as he continued. "Perhaps there's little reason for me to say, but ... where exactly have you been?" He opened his eyes, head still tilted downwards. He was eying Zexion.

"Thats all very possible, I still have memories of my... weaker.. time" Zexion said with a grimace on his face. Remembering the shining halls of the sanctuary just made him sick. The very thought of mingling in its corridors made his gut twist in loathing. Although the book suddenly seemed very drawn to Alex again as Xemnas entered the room. It direly wished to claim something on Alex's person "I'll help only if you do something extra... the book is telling me the key is here now. It wasn't here when I arrived. I believe he has it" Zexion suddenly said pointing to Alex as if he was pointing into a crowd of pigs, selecting one for slaughter "and I direly need it"

Xemnas, rather intrigued by this turn of events. Alex appeared to have something Zexion needed. And with the culmination of nobody staring down this boy, he surely would not stand a chance. Especially if one of these nobodies were Xemnas himself. He turned cockily towards Alex, not caring for the reason he had a key nor to why Zexion needed it. He simply placed out his hand and, with a smirk, said, "You'd best give us the key, lest you wish to be slain."

"Haha, very good, little Zexy. But there does seem to be a problem. As much as I would love to have that key, and stop you from ripping my heart out, to say the least, I don't have it. Tell me Zexion, why do you think I was looking down at the floor, and looking around the room every five seconds that we were talking? Can you answer me that?" Alex said, his Smirk growing as he looked straight at the Cloaked Schemer.

Turning around, The Somebody forced his attention on Xemnas. "Hmm? And Xenahort too? What a touching family reunion. But something does strike me as odd." Alex began, looking around and back at Nixos. "Interesting how you have Zexxy's gloves. It would be a shame if, oh I don't know, he accidentally left something in them?"

"Are you so sure?" Zexion said as his moved ever closer. The book at his side seemed to be gaining some reach now as the ebbing darkness was grabbing Alex's clothing. Its fabric beginning to flow as it a wind blew behind the firebound Alex "Because I think you do have it... let me just see your heart" Zexion made to reach out to Alex's chest, Zexion's eyes suddenly filled with greed.

Alex only smiled at this, as he held Zexion's arm back with his own two hands. Heat began to emit from them, as they burned through the Nobody's clothing. At this the Somebody's face flipped the other way, as he frowned and seemed to be struggling. Finally, the man let go, taking one small step back. As much to his dismay, he forced himself to spread his arms out, and stood there. Simply waiting.
