Haseo slowly walked through the Warehouse of Tower's Gate, knowing full well that he wasn't strong enough to help the hero's defend the Sanctuary of Light. Besides, there was really no use in him defending them, since they held no meaning to him. Sure, he was a PKK, but he had also lost all his power, and he wasn't itching to be PKed like his first day logging into 'The World.' He walked around, knowing that Silabus and Kuhn were in this Multiverse, hoping that they got his short mail. "Come on you guys, where are you? I'm growing really impatient."

"Haseo!" Kuhn called out, spotting the Adept Rogue and running over to him. As the Steam Gunner ran, the massive tail of blue hair coming out of his head sailed out, looking a bit like a flag in the wind and flopping about a little. Stepping and jumping over the debris of the ruined warehouse, it was clear Kuhn had gotten a lot more used to moving around in his character's body made flesh.

"Hey Haseo, I got your message, what are you doing out here?" inquired Magus' Chosen in a curious and somewhat concerned tone, "Seems like those heroes in the Sanctuary could use our help."

There are quite a few innocent women there that need my help.

Haseo just looked at Kuhn, truelly not giving a damn about the heros back at the Sanctuary. The only people he cared enough to help was all his friends from 'The World.' There were several people, but there were only two others besides him that he knew arrived here. He looked at Kuhn and sighed. "Why should I help those guys? What have they done for me?"

Haseo slowly calmed down, standing there, his hands upon his hips, a small scawl upon his face. He just stared at Kuhn, wondering why Magus' Chosen was so eager to go help the heros at the Sanctuary of Light. There was no AIDA, so why should the Epitaph Users get involved. "Look, so far I've seen nothing to do with AIDA in this multiverse, so what's our purpose now? Also, we need to reconnect to our avatars, we never know when we will run into AIDA, even if we do. We need the avatar's power."

Kuhn sighed and shook his head, causing his hair to flop about quite a bit.

"You'll get no where fast in this place if you keep an additude like that." remarked the Steam Gunner in a disapointed voice, "This isn't like The World Haseo, there are really living, breathing people here! If you die here, you don't just start from your last save, or even go into a coma, you're really dead."

Folding his arms, Kuhn realized it would obviously take a lot more than just explaining the stakes to get through to the Adept Rogue.

"Let me put it to you this way: all of those people attacking that base are PKers." he stated in a more serious voice, and then cocking his head to the side slightly, "...aren't you the fearsome 'Terror of Death?' Isn't your title as one of the most powerful PKKers ever on the line?"

Haseo laughed as Kuhn mentioned Haseo's title of 'Terror of Death' and looked at the Steam Gunner with cold and vicious eyes. "Yes, I'm the best PKK there is, and was the most powerful. Due to this multiverse scrambling our powers, I'm not at a n00bs level again. I don't stand a chance agaisnt most of those villians. I don't want to be PKed ever again."

Haseo just stared at Kuhn, rather pissed that he revealed his deepest and most terrifying fear. He leaned against the wall, and stared at the ceiling. Maybe it was time he reclaimed his title, and struck fear into every PKers heart as Haseo the Terror of Death. "Kuhn, this fight doesn't concern us though. Besides, you're right, if we die, we die this time. Are you sure you want to risk our lifes? I know that AIDA incident was always risky business, and I know at one point we did put our lives on the line, but this is different."

Blinking a few times, a slight look of disgust washed over Kuhn's face, if only for a few seconds. Haseo really hadn't changed at all - if Shino or his power really wasn't on the table, he wouldn't have anything to do with it. The Steam Gunner, throughout everything that happened to them, hoped against everything and everyone that the Adept Rogue had changed his tune, at least just a little, but it was clear now that he was still quite far from growing up, at least in Kuhn's eyes.

"Yeah, the stakes are higher, but we've still got an obligation to protect and help in any way we can." retorted Magus' Chosen finally, dropping his arms, his hazel eyes peering right into Skeith's Chosen's dark red ones. "There might not be any signs of AIDA here yet, but there's no telling what else could be out there. If we don't start making friends now, how will we ever find our way back to our world... and to our real bodies?"

For all of his womanizing and light-heartedness, there was one other thing that had driven him just as much: his sense of justice. Kuhn knew that it would be stupid to rush into a conflict that they knew nothing about unprepared and still pretty close to square one, especially in comparison to a lot of the others who had been here for quite some time, but...

"...who's to say there isn't someone there right now who can help us, and who is in danger?" inquired Kuhn, trying to appeal to Haseo's desires to get back to Shino, but tip-toeing around saying it bluntly, "If we don't at least head over there to check it out, how will we know for sure?"

Silabus popped his head out from around a ruined corner of the warehouse, and gave a broad smile. He'd finally found Kuhn and Haseo. With a quick movement, he stepped out from behind it and made his way towards the two.

"Hi guys! Sorry I'm so late!"" he yelled, before suddenly tripping over some rubble

He had only been in the Multiverse for a short while, and he wasn't as used to controlling the body of his former character Silabus as it appeared Haseo and Kuhn were. He kept expecting to only run into objects and be able to go past them, as was a basic law of The World and any other MMORPG he had played, but instead, managed to trip himself up over even the smallest of objects.

He sighed and picked himself up, a worried frown on his face.

Right as Haseo was about to responde to Kuhn, he noticed his friend from Canard, Silabus, walk up. He quickly stopped, reminding himself of how he didn't want Silabus to get involved with AIDA at all. Kuhn quit Canard and joined Raven to protect Silabus and Gaspard, so I can't let them know of it. "Hey Silabus, just in time. We were talking about going over to the Sanctuary of Light to help. Kuhn is all for it, but I see no reason to get involved. Sure, there are PKers over there, but at our current strength, that is one reason not to get involved."

Haseo noticed that Silabus was having some difficulty remembering how to walk in this form, and just looked at his friend. He withheld a laugh, finding it easier to just scawl at the moment. He placed his hands upon his hips and stared at the Blade Brandier, just watching him. "It shouldn't be too difficult to adjust you know. After all, I'm not just Haseo, I'm also Ryou Misaki trapped within Haseo's character, so walking kinda came natural for me. You must be clumsy in real life then Silabus."

Upon seeing Silabus trip and fall during his approach, Kuhn's first instinct was to go over and help the Blade Brandier up. After taking a few steps toward Silabus, and seeing him picking himself up, however, the Steam Gunner decided that it was better for him to get used to the phsyics of this place, and to his character being flesh and bone. Unlike them, Silabus wasn't on the AIDA server, so he had never been inside his character before coming to the multiverse, and Kuhn realized how strange it was when he experienced it for the first time.

"No problem Silabus, we're just glad you made it." replied the blue-haired marksman, giving a nod and smile in acknowledgement. He then folded his arms once more, and motioned his head toward Haseo. "Haseo here thinks that since we're still all pretty new here, and that we still don't have any ties to anyone in this multiverse, that we shouldn't get involved. Like he said: we really don't see eye to eye on that. What do you think?"

"Well...um..." Silabus stammered, trying to ignore Haseo's comment, "Just because we don't know anyone doesn't mean we should ignore their need for help."

He took a few more steps towards the two Epitaph users, trying to keep himself from falling over any of the larger piece of rubble. He hated being this clumsy, although the fact he was now Silabus amused him to no end. He wouldn't have to feel so guilty about not studying for his college courses or having to jog to stay in shape. In addition, he would be able to help out so many other people that needed help.

Haseo just stared at both Silabus and Kuhn, knowing he was massively outnumbered with this decision. He sighed and placed his hand upon his head, shaking it. "Fine, whatever, lets just go then. I still am against it, but lookts like I'm not in the majority vote, now am I? God, I can see it now, if Pi was here, damn this would be worse."

Kuhn's smile widened, despite Haseo's darkening demeanor.

"Oh, c'mon Haseo, you know you miss her. Besides, I'm curious to see how she acts when Yata's not around." half-joked the Steam Gunner, several meaning evident in his voice, but probably only to Haseo.

Nodding a little, Magus' Chosen began to walk toward the North, where the Sanctuary was located, marked by a bright glow on the horizon - the glow of war. He motioned slightly with his head before turning completely away, that optimistic, upbeat smile still on his face, matched with determined and courageous hazel eyes.

"And who knows, maybe we'll get some good experience taking down those PKers!"

...and maybe save some beautiful young women in the process.
