Did a bit of digging on Wikipedia = here are the capacity for each Dome. Sapporo Dome - 67,400 (Association Football) 55, 900 (Baseball) Fukuoka Yahoo Dome - 35,695 Nagoya Dome - seats up to 38,414 people (officially 40,500 people) Osaka Kyocera Dome - 36,477 (this surprised me because it seemed like the top levels of the dome were very high - I thought it would hold a lot more people.... Tokyo Dome - Officially 55,000 seats, real capacity 42,000 seats These figures are from wikipedia, so there could be some give or take there in terms of numbers, but just to give everyone a sense of the relative size of the domes. |

Wow, Sapporo Dome is huge! Tokyo Dome has become my home away from home (well, after nearly two weeks, it sure feels like it...). The NEWS crowd definitely skews a much younger, kawaii audience - but there a few of us obasans scattered here and there. :) |
