Had some higher hopes for this team, been working on a full write up, but feel much more negative news has come out of this camp for this team and really feeling like this team needs the first half of the season to gel.

Could be ugly.

Quick Summary

The total number in Vegas on the Bear is 7, costs big money (-170) to go over.

The price will only go so much higher before it goes to 7.5 and I regret to say it. Pound the under then!

The local view is that the team has too many holes, too many changes to personnel, and too many guys already hurt or that will end up hurt. I think if every guy on the roster was healthy, you had a shot at 8-9 wins. With the injuries that have already occurred, it is unlikely they hit 7 wins.

The TE and RB situation are large potential negatives. There is no shot of the OL being good. The receivers are another question mark. And I don't think the secondary can generate turnovers.

For this team and organization to take a step backwards this year could have devastating effects.

1. If this team takes a step backwards, then they really need to look at trading Cutler to a team that has some good WR's, great D and could win something with a decent QB. I thought that team was Texas, but now...not sure, need to wait for injuries

2. Cutting cutler cost $19 Mill, keeping him cost $16 mill. Ted Phillips deal?

3. OL= BAD, RB = AVg at best, WR= Ouchy.

Vegas still has this team as 7.5 WINS, although as of Friday morning it is off the board until they open again.

They kept Cutler is that there were no better options. If you cut him, not only did you "lose" that money, but you have to pay to find something else. Getting a top flight QB in the NFL is difficult due to the lack of a free agent market.

Too many holes on this team. Preseason doesn't matter, but last night showed the lack of talent on this roster.

It goes back to rebuilding or winning....and I dont see Winning as an option right now.

Looking at year 6 in the NFL without a Playoff appearance is like 5 years in MLB without a .500 team. You cant tell me you are doing things right

I am at the point where they need to draft the best QB available with their first round pick until they find one. If that takes four years, then so be it. Almost impossible to win in the NFL without a great QB.
