Today, in the 3rd period, one of the A's on my hockey team took a shot to the back into the boards and broke his wrist. The other coach was screaming about a slash to the leg of their cpatain without a penatly. My goalie made a comment on the fact of a broken back or neck is worse than a leg. So I ask you, which pentaly is worse to be overlooked, meaning that if one was let go, you shouldnt be as pissed as if the other was overlooked. |

I would say the checking from behind. It seems logical to me, but I don't know much about hockey |

Checking from behind is worth more than the 5 minute major and game misconduct. It has the chance of breaking someones spine and the chance of ending their career, and also their career permenently, not just in hockey. Whats so bad about it is that the player has no idea that it is coming, untill they are paralyzed for life. |

I see. In that case, I believe it goes without saying that the checking from behind is the much worse offense. |

I would have to agree on that a spine injury is much more...deadly. :ph43r: |

I know nothing of hockey, but I say whichever one hurts more. |
