Master of the Mortal Realm

http://na.square-enix.com/ctds/ You may or may not have heard about Chrono Trigger. If not your missing out on one of the greatest RPGs ever made. I'm not just talking about best storyline (but it is) or plot twists (but still is) or graphics (considering it was SNES its amazing, its was actually originally done by the same guy who made DragonBall Z animation, you can kinda tell on the hair lol) But I'm also talking about replay value, I still play it. but anyway quick background for those who are not aware of this great game. Originally on SNES. Great game, lots of plot twists, great story and gameplay. Great soundtrack too. It has a pretty interactive story line (slight spoiler: it deals with time a lot) so you can actually change things in the game by changing past. (the whole game is about changing the future) Any way it was remade for the Playstation with added cut scenes which we of anime quality. (but the game had pretty bad loading times because of them) Square Enix annouced that the game will be remade for the DS its the same game I've beaten hundreds of times but now its has some added cool features. such as a new extra dungen, touch screen controls and a multiplayer battle system. (I don't know much about this but I'm excited for it cause I remember saying to my bro "My guys are now strong enough to beat you if we ever fought.) now I can prove it. The game also had sequal, it was decent but compared to this game it shouldn't even be associated to Chrono Trigger. This is my number #1 RPG, which would explain why this post is so long for a simple annocment. |

lol thats what I said when I saw the trailer. Having already beat the game numerous times the biggest things I'm looking forward to is the multiplayer battle system (I'm curious as how they would work it) the new dungen and of course this means I can finally play through the game with out using New Game+ (because I was too greedy to erase my characters who are basically maxed out with 999 HP and 99MP and kill everything but the final boss in one hit.) |

If by sequel, you mean Chrono Cross, you're wrong since it isn't a sequel. And Chrono Cross was one of the best games for the PSOne, based on the pure ability on how many characters you can acquire for your party. But I digress, Chrono Trigger ported to the DS is probably the best thing to happen to the DS in awhile, but I doubt it'll have much in the cutscene department, so I'm guessing that I'm gonna be hitting A for awhile to get through gameplay sequences. XD Ah, the fun of RPGs. |

Chrono Cross was supposed to be a sequal. It was going to be Magus searching for Schala. But they changed plans (I think because of time) and made the game have its own story with a few cameos from Chrono Trigger like Lucca. I'm not saying it wasn't a good game, but that Chrono Trigger was far better in my opinion. |
