Wow. I have to say this one has really surprised me and I am wondering if this will connect onto Smallville especially if Allison Mack reprises the role since in the Smallville Universe Chloe is married to Oliver Queen and most of the characters are very different from their 'Arrowverse' interpretations. EXCLUSIVE: Legends of Tomorrow Season 3 Adds A Smallville Favorite

Quote:

In a recent interview with Rotten Tomatoes, Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim revealed that an “established” DC character “who is not from the comics” would be joining the Legends of Tomorrow series in Season 3.

“We’re drawing on an established character who is not from the comics,” Guggenheim said. “Let me be very clear: not original to the show but not from the comics and not from any of the other DC Arrowverse shows.”

You’re probably wondering why we’re reporting on this at KryptonSite: It’s because this website, long before Supergirl, was considered the Web’s first source for Smallville news and information… and the Legends mystery character actually originated on Smallville.

Do you want to know what’s happening?

SPOILERS, obviously.

KryptonSite has learned that the character who is showing up is the one who might be one of Smallville’s most enduring creations: Chloe Sullivan. As played by Allison Mack, Chloe was the show’s “Lois Lane” before Lois actually came to the show. She was smart, fun, witty, and a great friend and confidante to the show’s Clark Kent….

….and now she’s going to be a regular character in Legends of Tomorrow Season 3.

We’ve heard that Smallville creators Alfred Gough & Miles Millar are receiving a royalty for this, and that if all of the pieces come together, it might even be Allison Mack reprising the role. So far, the actress has not been approached as the producers are still laying out Legends’ third season; our sources say producers are “very interested” in casting her, and that if she accepts, then yes, we will at some point get that Chloe Sullivan-Felicity Smoak meetup of our fanfiction dreams.

Chloe Sullivan has appeared in DC Comics continuity, at least prior to the “New 52” initiative; however, she did first appear in other media, having originated on Smallville.

Stay tuned for more details as they become available. Read this disclaimer before sharing this article and if you want immediate updates on this huge story, subscribe to our e-mail alerts.

The Season 2 finale of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow airs this Tuesday, April 4 at 8PM on The CW.

Maybe but I'm hoping that the recent shift in mentality with DC has allowed for them to figure out the TV shows are great ways to market their lesser known superheroes for future blockbuster films.

Also Superman appeared on Supergirl and is returning, Deadshot reappeared on Arrow, Batman's supposedly turning up on Arrow later, Deathstroke will be back and may still be in the Batman film, Flash is obviously a main part of both the TV & movie universe's, so why not add Chloe to the movies even if it's just in a small role?

Deadshot just reappeared as an hallucination and I'm pretty sure Batman and Deathstroke turning up on Arrow are just rumours.

it's whether Manu is returning as Deathstroke which is what the rumour is, Deathstroke I think has been spotted, besides he turned up in the 100th ep also, Deadshot appeared outside of the Deadshot person but as Lawton on Flash also.

DC seem to be coming around to figuring out hey our fans can get the difference between TV and film they even get the idea of a multiverse so why not let our characters appear in both but just keep our big 3 away from TV outside of rare special guest spots because they don't need to be propped up but the likes of Cyborg do as do most of their villains, outside of Superman & Batman's foes most of the DC super villains aren't that well known, the TV shows give them the chance to promote them.

You cant get rid of Joe sadly he's their go to towards making any plotline no matter how bullshit something to care about due to his reaction, I mean he's why I wanted them to get Wally out the speedforce because Joe was upset, Wally being tormented due to his own stupidity was fine with me but you feel for Joe.

imo they should add Wally to LOT, put Stein back on Flash with a resurrected Ronnie, have Jax leave being a hero behind, and then also LOT pick up the real Harrison Wells so Flash has Firestorm, Stein to be the sage brains, and Ronnie returned to bring more tension to Caitlyn being Killer Frost, whilst Legends have Wally who can grow outside of Team Flash and a new genius character to replace Stein but one whose less a dick and more physical.
It is official!! There is a grave and somebody is dying heehee. I can't wait to see who it is. Posted Image [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]

The Flash: New Set Photos Hint At An Impending Death

Quote:

It’s no secret; The Flash has been on a warpath trying to ensure his lover Iris West does not die. In the most recent season of The Flash, fans have watched as Barry Allen goes to whatever lengths possible to keep Iris alive. The speedster was sent into a tizzy when he learned Savitar would kill Iris, and Barry is not willing to let his longtime love go so easily. So, naturally, fans are feeling a bit apprehensive about the latest batch of set photos to come from The Flash.

Over on Just Jared, the entertainment site got a hold of some shocking photos from The Flash’s set. The images appear to depict a funeral as a slew of lead characters are show wearing black formal wear on an equally dreary set. In a few photos, Barry can be seen close to Iris whilst the leading lady looks teary. While the image does give fans hope that the alleged funeral sequence is not meant for Iris, it does pose another big question: If someone is about to die, then who will it be?

Right now, The Flash is heading slowly towards its climax. When the drama returns, fans will watch as Barry travels to the future in an attempt to learn more about Savitar’s weakness, and the following episode will then focus on Killer Frost’s rampage. Fans fear it may actually be Caitlin Snow who bites the dust given her sudden reversion back into the Killer Frost persona, and Danielle Panabaker wasn’t featured in The Flash’s most recent set photos.

For now, fans can only hope the funeral scene is anything but. Perhaps some character on the show wanted to have a very gothic-themed party? While it is nice to think otherwise, reality lends itself to the fact that a character on The Flash will die this season before Savitar can be brought down - and it may have wholly unexpected ramifications upon the entire show.

You can read up on the synopsis for the next episode of The Flash below:

Barry (Grant Gustin) travels to the future to find out Savitar’s still unknown identity in the hopes of saving Iris (Candice Patton). Upon his arrival in 2024, Barry encounters future versions of his Team Flash friends, who, following the death of Iris, have become very different people, profoundly impacted by their showdown with Savitar. It will be up to Barry to infuse a sense of hope back into the team, as he proves to be hero his future friends have been waiting for. Meanwhile, back in 2017, the hunt for Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) continues.

Tom Cavanagh directed the episode written by Carina Adly MacKenzie.

By the sound of things it is going to be Caitlin and a lot of fans on comment sections of articles are saying Caitlin is their pick and they have turned her back into Killer Frost to kill her off but maybe this might just be to throw some people off on the identity of the character going and it could end up being Cisco instead. I agree with what you said about Joe but some shows have killed characters like that off before and there were people who didn't think Moira would be killed off but they had Deathstroke kill her in Season 2. I think Wally will end up going to Legends of Tomorrow or Earth 2 with Jesse Quick 'cause the Reverse Flash never mentioned there being a Wally in the future and spoke of Barry as the only Flash so I think it is possible he will leave at some point and when they had Barry with Wally and Jesse I thought there were too many Flashes at the same time. I would love to see Impulse (Bart Allen) appear next season or in the future and I think he definitely will 'cause of all the other Flashes they have had but only as a guest star.

The photo of them grieving shows Barry, Iris, Cisco, Gypsy & HR but Cavanagh might be because of it being Harry or just cause Tom is directing the ep which leaves Wally, Jesse, Caitlyn, Joe, Malfoy or maybe HR.

RF not knowing of KF doesn't matter because he's from the original timeline the one timeline we have never experienced in this show due to his actions, KF could be because of RF's shenanigans or Barry's either way RF not knowing of KF doesn't mean anything imo.

You are right. The Reverse Flash we saw in Season 1 and in Legends of Tomorrow might not even be the main Reverse Flash that goes on to become Barry's biggest nemesis and changes to the timeline again could possibly result in that being Eddie. I highly doubt 'Legends of Tomorrow' will be the last time we see Reverse Flash since we never got another The Flash/Reverse Flash confrontation but it is possible there will be a second Reverse Flash and that was just the end of the Eobard Thawne version. In the comic books other characters like Edward Clariss, Thaddeus Thawne and Daniel West took on the mantle of Reverse Flash too and Eobard wasn't the original Reverse Flash.

I still don't see Wally staying full time in the series. I think he will leave at some point (possibly even at the end of the series) and the show will go back to having one Flash 'cause having two speedsters (or three when Jessie appears) makes it too easy for Barry to defeat villains. What is your final guess on who is going to turn out to be Savitar? According to the article below we are going to find out before the final episode and it is looking like tomorrow night's episode is when it is going to be revealed. I am really hoping it doesn't turn out to be HR 'cause I have heard some people saying it could be and that would be too much like Season One with Harrison Wells turning out to be the Reverse Flash. I would like to see them get rid of HR though and replace him with the real Harrison Wells in a series and if Barry changes the timeline again we might see him in the show but that could also lead to a lot of other changes such as the ones we already saw in the Flashpoint universe. Caitlin is looking more likely to be the person who will die every day and perhaps she will regain part of her old self and go up against Savitar with her powers and get killed in Iris' spot.

The Flash Season 3 Finale Synopsis Promises a Cliffhanger

Quote:

The Flash is promising a major cliffhanger for the end of season 3. The finale, airing on May 23, will find Team Flash battling it out one final time with Killer Frost and Savitar, and will finally answer the question of who Savitar really is, along with his connection to the Flash. Fans have been excited for this answer since the villain made his debut last fall.

Savitar’s identity has been debated for months now, with fans narrowing the possibilities down to two. It could be the smug Julian Albert — a character whose middle name may as well be Red Herring — or Barry Allen himself, who has traveled back in time from 2056 to keep the Crisis that the writers have been teasing since the pilot from happening.

TVLine has released the synopses for the final two episodes of the season, which confirm that Savitar’s true identity will be revealed and the results will send shock waves throughout the series.

“PRE-FINALE: Barry travels to 2024 to find out Savitar’s identity, where he encounters future versions of himself as well as his Team Flash friends. Upon returning to the present, Barry & Co. meet a scientist (House’s Anne Dudek) who may be the key to stopping Savitar, but they must — literally, and with great difficulty — fight to keep Killer Frost from getting to her first. Afterward, Caitlin’s icy alter ego makes an interesting proposal.

SEASON FINALE (MAY 23): After discovering Savitar’s true identity, Team Flash prepares for a final, epic battle with the God of Speed… while struggling with a major setback. Expect a season-ending cliffhanger that will leave viewers — and the heroes — questioning how they will move forward in Season 4.”

The possibility of Savitar being a time traveling Barry Allen has grown in popularity over the last few months. The evil speedster has produced some esoteric dialogue in the past: “Jesse Quick. I knew you would come for me… I know everything that happens. I’ve already lived it… I have such plans for you in the future.” At the very least, Savitar is a time traveler, and rather famously, so is the Flash.
The largest point of evidence comes from the comics. In 2013, the Future Flash debuted. Known as the Cerulean Speedster, Future Flash was revealed to be an aging Barry Allen come back in time to save Wally West from a car accident and literally beat up on his past self for complicated (and likely self-defeating) reasons. Given The CW series’ penchant for borrowing from the new Flash comics, along with Savitar’s own clues, it’s very possible that we’ll be seeing an older, aggrieved Barry Allen before the end of this season.
