Avengers Characters Tony Stark (Iron Man, b. 1923, d. 1992) Tony Stark gets shrapnel in his heart and is captured by Wong-Chu in 1963. Wong tries to force Stark and fellow captive Ho Yinsen to build weapons. Instead, they build Iron Man armour. Ho Yinsen is killed but Tony escapes. The official story is that Iron Man is Stark's bodyguard and Stark Industries' mascot. He initially continues building weapons for the military and Shield but reconsiders the mortality of it. In 1962, he is drawn into a battle between Hulk and Thor. The encounter results in them forming the Avengers. In 1983, Obadiah Stane's assaults on Stark International prompt him to relapse into alcoholism, while James Rhodes takes over as Iron Man. In 1985 Tony recovers and with Rhodes' help starts up a new company Circuits Maximus. He develops the Silver Centurion armour to fight Stane who has become Iron Monger. In 1987, Stark discovers Justin Hammer has been selling his technology to various super villains and sets about dismantle the technology in the suits in question going as far as to disable sanctioned technology to sold to Shield and the Vault, leading to a conflict with the Avengers eld by Captain America. Steve Rogers (Captain America, b. 1920) (wikipedia says it was 1925 but he doesn't look 16 when he first appears in the comics) Steve Roger becomes Captain America in 1940. He seemingly dies in 1945 but is actually frozen in ice. He was found in 1964. He joins the Avengers in 1964. Bruce Banner (Hulk, b. 1922) During the experimental detonation of a Gamma bomb in 1962, Bruce Banner saves Rick Jones but is hit by the blast, becoming the Hulk. Shortly afterwards, Bruce ends up on the run. In 1971, he is temporally cured by Leonard Skivorski Jr but his flirting with Betty Ross, prompts Bruce to become the Hulk again. Donald Blake (Thor b. 962 AD, b. 1931, b. 1983) At some point, Odin had Thor reincarnated as Donald Blake. In 1962, Blake discovers Mjolnir and learns that he is Thor. At some point he was killed and reincarnated in 1983. In 2011, his second reincarnation discovered he was Thor. Natasha Romanova (Black Widow, b. 1928) Natasha Romanova was raised by the USSR's Black Widow Ops program. In 1941, Natasha was captured and had to be rescue by Captain America and Logan. The program used the Infinity Formula on Natasha, slowing down her ageing. In 1964, she is sent to the United States to assassinate Anton Vanko, a Russian scientist who defected from the Soviet Union. Boris Turgenov is sent with her. Turgenov steals the Crimson Dynamo armour. Both Vanko and Turgenov are killed. In 1967, Natasha breaks free from her Brainwashing and joins Shield. Clint Barton (Hawkeye, b. 1933) In 1964, Clint Barton aids Natasha Romanova in trying to steal technology developed by Stark. He joined the Avengers in 1965. Loki (b. 914 AD) (not certain about how old Thor and Loki were supposed to be when they started, I might need to come back to this) Loki was the son of Laufey who was adopted by Odin after he killed Laufey. Loki's mischief eventually leads Odin to imprisoning him in a tree until someone shed a tear for him but he made a leaf hit Heimdall in the eye in 1962, freeing himself. He discovered Thor had been reincarnated as Donald Blake. In 1963, he tried to use the Hulk to fight Thor but this led to the formation of the Avengers as several other heroes showed up. Phil Coulson (b. 1964, d. 2012) He is an Agent of Shield who is killed by Loki. Maria Hill (b. 1975) An Agent of Shield. Erik Selvig (b. 1951) A scientist who uncovers the reincarnated Thor in 2011. Nick Fury (b. 1920, d. 1995) Nick Fury was drafted into military service in 1940. In 1941, he became leader of the Howling Commandos. He is injured by a land mine and healed by scientists who use him as a test subject for their Infinity Formula. This slows down his ageing but he needs annual doses or he'll die. At some point he becomes director of Shield. In 1995, Nick Fury is killed by the Punisher who had been brainwashed into believing Fury had killed his family. Iron Man Characters James Rhodes (War Machine, b. 1933) As far I understand, he fought in the Vietnam War and was stranded in the jungle. He met Iron Man as he was escaping Wong-Chu which would have been 1963 (even if his first appearance in the comics was 1979). As thanks for helping Iron Man, Tony offered Rhodes a job as his personal pilot. In 1979, Rhodes excepted Stark's offer, becoming his pilot. In 1983, Stark relapses into alcoholism and James Rhodes is forced to use his Iron Man suit. In 1985, Stark helps him found Circuits Maximus. Due to the Iron Man armour being tailored to Stark's brainwaves, Rhodes is forced to give Stark back to armour while he hears out Hank Pym to cure his headaches. After Stark died in 1992, Rhodes modified the armour and became War Machine Obadiah Stane (Iron Monger, b. 1921, d. 1985) His company Stane International works with Howard Stark until his death in 1942. Since then, he tries to take control of Stark International owned by Tony Stark. Numerous assaults on Stark, his business and his friends, push Tony to alcoholism and allow Stane to buy out the company in 1983 but James Rhodes prevents Stane from acquiring the Iron Man armour. In 1985, Stane is able to reverse engineer the armour, becoming Iron Monger, and kidnaps Happy Hogan and Pepper Potts. He is confronted by Iron Man now using the Silver Centurion armour. He is defeated and kills himself to avoid being arrested and humiliated. Ho Yinsen (d. 1963) A fellow captive of Wong-Chu who helps Tony Stark escape at the cost of his own life. Pepper Potts (b. 1926) She got her job by fixing an accounting error made by Tony Stark. She marries Happy Hogan in 1967. The two are eventually kidnapped in 1985 by Iron Monger but are rescued by Iron Man. Justin Hammer (d. 2000) Justin Hammer obtains Stane International after Obadiah Stane's death in 1985. In 1987, Justin Hammer has the Iron Man technology stolen and sold it various super villains. He died from cancer in 2000. Anton Vanko II (Whiplash) (In the comics, he is actually about the fifth Whiplash but given his backstory here it makes more sense for him to be first) Anton Vanko is the son of the Crimson Dynamo Anton Vanko (no actually has no relation in the comics but that just sounds unlikely). After his father's death in 1964, Anton Vanko II believes Iron Man killed him and becomes Whiplash. I would also change his first appearance to 1964 as he would not wait until 2010 before seeking revenge. Hulk Characters Betty Ross (b. 1931) The two would barely know each other, they only met shortly before Bruce became the Hulk and had to go on the run. Emil Blonsky (Abomination, b. 1928, d. 1983) Emil Blonsky is a KGB agent who becomes the Abomination in 1967. Samuel Sterns (Leader, b. 1920, d. 1969) In 1964, gamma radiation gives Samuel Sterns super intelligence. Leonard Skivorski, Jr (Doc Samson, b. 1930) In 1971, Leonard Skivorski tries to cure the Hulk but siphoned the gamma radiation. His flirting with Betty Ross causes Bruce to become jealous and become the Hulk again to fight him. Thaddeus Ross (b. 1904, d. 1987) Thaddeus Ross oversees the 1962 experiment that creates the Hulk. He spends years chasing the Hulk. Thor Characters Jane Foster (b. 1932) A nurse at the hospital Donald Blake works at. Laufey (b. 84 BC, d. 914 AD) Laufey was the father of Loki. He was killed by Odin in 914 AD. Volstagg (b. 1597) (I imagine he was born some time after Norse mythology and he was based on Shakepeare's Falstaff created that year) A member of the Warrior's Three. Heimdall (b. 962) The guardian of the Bifrost bridge. Frigga Thor and Loki's mother. Odin (b. 38 BC) Thor and Loki's father. Hogun (b. 962) One of the Warrior's Three. Fandral (b. 962) One of the Warrior's Three. Sif (b. 962) Thor's lover before Thor is reincarnated as Donald Blake. Captain America Characters Johann Schimidt (Red Skull, b. 1890) Captain America's arch nemesis. Peggy Carter (b. 1912) Steve Rogers' girlfriend. Bucky Barnes (b. 1925) Bucky Barnes becomes Captain America's sidekick. He is seemingly killed in 1945. Howard Stark (b. 1893, d. 1941) Tony Stark's father. He developed weapons for the military in World War I and World War II. He died in a car crash in 1941. Dum Dum Dugan (b. 1896) He joins the Howling Commandos in 1941. Gabe Jones (b. 1905) Gabe Jones joined the Howling Commandos in 1941. Abraham Erskine (b. 1889, d. 1940) He created the Super Soldier Serum. He was killed by spy Krueger in 1940 shortly after Steve Rogers became Captain America. Edited by CaptainAwesome, May 1 2017, 09:58 PM.
