With the Green Goliath finally taking an arrow to the knee (or whereabouts), it is only proper to get an appreciation thread for one of the most awesome characters to ever grace the comic pages.

I have stated it multiple times, but Planet Hulk will always be one of Marvel's best storylines ever. Even the movie of it is at least on par with the best DC had to offer animation-wise.
It is followed by World War Hulk, an equally entertaining storyline, as well as ...well, we could use spoiler tags here... ah well. Read and find out.

Yeah I'm a Hulk fan myself. I've never read the comics but I grew up watching the movies and show (even if I don't remember the show at all anymore). I'll be sure to read Planet Hulk after I'm finished with Civil War.

One of my oldest memories of the Hulk, was when he was grey. Though, not the original kind of grey, but his Mr Fixit persona.

One of my fondest memories of the Hulk, on the other hand, was the issue where Doc Sampson merges all the different personalities into one.

What would you say is the greatest incarnation of the Hulk?

For me it's either the merged one mentioned above, or the Worldbreaker, from Planet Hulk.

Are you asking me personally or just anyone in general?

LOL It's hard to tell with the layout of the site :P

Any and all. And yes, IMDB's nested layout is helpful sometimes. If only I could find a way to enable it here...

Edit: forgot to mention above. Merged Hulk was the one that fought Superman in the DC versus Marvel event. He won, but I call bullshit.

I guess the popular answer (for the people who don't read the Marvel Comics) would be the Hulk in the MCU. I would pick the Bill Bixby/Lou Ferrigno version from the TV show/TV movies but simply for Nostalgia reasons.
