I have discussed this with players in the past, but this announcement should let everyone know at once. If you have a good IC reason for hiring/commanding them, players are allowed up to five 'cops/thugs', meaning that if you're a villain, you're probably commanding thugs, and if you're a hero you're probably commanding cops of some sort. They can also be mercenaries, or whatever is best for the roleplay situation.

These cops/thugs/mercs can be taken down by anyone. In combat, anyone can spoof them. Players are asked to do this realistically and not be abusive. If you feel someone is being abusive of this, report it to me.

They are allowed to have no more (for now--if a situation calls for it then let me know, and I'll be more than happy to work something else) than standard pistols (no larger than .45) and little or no body armor.

Also, on body armor: bulletproof materials, unless several inches thick, can still be peirced by .50 ammunition. I know most of you know that already, and I've gone over it in the past with a few of you, but that's just for the record.

The fourth floor elevator door opens, and SWAT members rush out, plexiglass shields raised. Facing directly opposite them on the other side of the room are five thugs, trying to break into the large vault. Standing behind the protection of the shield-bearing SWAT team members, The Hood fires an arrow towards the thugs, aiming for the ground between them.

**The arrow hits its target**

There is a loud xplosion and a large flash as the arrow strikes the ground between the thugs. The Hood and the five SWAT team officers had shut their eyes when the arrow made contact, and as such were not blinded by the flash. The thugs, caught off-guard as they were, were able to take no precaution.

"SWAT!!! Put your hands in the air!" yell the police officers, rushing forward with their fully-automatic weapons trained on the blind thugs. The Hood fits another arrow to the string, just in case.
