I finally finished the revamp of the skills/abilities system. The changes are too many to post here, so if you're interested you can just go reread the skills/abilities topic in the New Users section. Many of the changes involve the removal of certain skills/abilities which are not in use and which for one reason or another we have decided to remove. Also, all the skills/abilities now have a maximum level, which is listed along with the skill/ability. There are some other changes which will have some effect on the way dice rolls and the like are calculated, but those really only effect the Admins, so don't worry about them. Also, I've had a lot of people asking me, "How hard would it be to do _____ with my powers?" In the future questions of that nature will be answered with a "try and find out". The reason for this is that that is how your character would learn things about their powers to begin with. Information of that sort qualifies as OOC information which could affect roleplay. So in the future, if you're really curious about if something would work or how hard it would be, get in a roleplay situation where you have the opportunity to practice and try and find out. Thanks! |
