Name: Anna Blakof AKA. "Singularity" Age: 28 Physical Appearance: Anna Blakof is a small Russian woman. Her diminutive figure stands about a head below most average people. Her dark black hair is die-straight, and runs to just above her belt, framing a pale face. Her eyes, however, are dark, cold, and cunning. Lean muscle covers her body, and she walks with a sort of stiffness, as if from a major injury. Backstory: Anna Blakof was a Russian Cosmonaut, in a time when Cosmonauts weren't a particularly common event. Especially female ones. However, despite the odds, her rocket left earth on Feburary 17th, 1967. Two days in space without a real problem. Then something went wrong. In an event no one could have predicted, a wormhole opened and swallowed the little rocket, and it was transported across the universe. Just as the terrified pilot thought the worst was over, she discovered it wasn't. In fact, it was about to get much worse. A halo of light around a patch of space that was completely dark seemed to drag the tiny ship toward it. Without any alternative, she allowed the ship to disappear into the collapsed star. Roughly forty years later, Anna Blakof's ship nearly crashed into a Siberian waste. Just as the crash seemed inevitable, the ship righted itself, slowed, and settled neatly on the ground. An enormous chunk of the ship's side blasted off, leaving a gaping tear in the hull, and revealing a young woman. Anna Blakof had returned to earth. Shortly after her return, the Brotherhood of Blood, a radical metahuman organization, recruited the young woman, intent on adding her considerable power to their own. During the Brotherhood's attacks on Pacific City, she joined forces with terrors like Abaddon the Destroyer, Ghost, and Skitter. Her violent career came to an end when her own partner, Abaddon, betrayed her, broke her neck, and left her stranded during a fight with the hero Mercury. Somehow, she managed to escape the conflict, though not even she is completely sure how. Now, the Brotherhood has commissioned her to travel to Colossal City and free her betrayer Abaddon from a prison transport. She readily agreed, not only for a chance for wanton destruction, but perhaps an opportunity to seek vengeance. Abilities: Gravity Control - Excellent Skills: Polearms - Proficient Gadgets - Skilled Agility - Skilled Fortitude - Decent Intimidation - Decent Gadgets: 1-6: Rod of Ruin - A short, light lance with a pitch black shaft, and shimmering argent blade. The blade mount contains a dark onyx gemstone. The weapon can easily cut through most materials, and also augments the abilities of the user. (+1 to any one Energy-Based ability. In the event of a character having two, the character's owner may specify which on one acquisition of the Rod.) Attributes: Event Horizon: Anna's ability originated in the heart of a black hole, thus her ability to create them is stronger. (+1 to Gravity Control when creating a black hole.) Blood Sacrifice: Anna's ability, however, comes at a cost. When activated, her physical strength is sapped somewhat, and her focus diminishes. (-1 to Concentration after using her ability for the first time in an RP, until the end of the RP, or after an hour has passed.) Important Themes and Notes Continuity: Reconnoitered death into debilitating injury. Do you wish for this character to become part of the CH continuity? Yes Edited by Yamato, Oct 3 2013, 03:26 PM.
