RMB com, and Event planner could be done away with. TA could be placed back into DotI. That would lessen the problem of extraneous and pointless official positions. However, it won't solve the problem of Inspector not being a judicial position and still being in the judicial branch/tier, which was the main purpose that I think this amendment should be a thing |

I still feel like it should be under DOJ. The inspector is there to expedite the justice system, not to enforce the law like the Executive branch does. |

"a. To uncover, gather evidence against, and prosecute crime within the region. b. Carry out warrants from the court or the Prime Minister." and you said like a police detective those sound an awful lot like enforce the law like a real police officer, which is part of the executive branch of government. |

I guess I meant it to illustrate the fact that the inspector gathers evidence. Prosecuting crime is not enforcing it. The judge that passes sentence on someone does not enforce it. The executive branch does. Nowhere in the job description does it give the inspector the power to enforce any laws or even pass any judgment. Only to search for and find evidence. |

I beg to differ. There are such things as private detectives, but they have no authority to enforce the law. They just gather and provide evidence in court. |

They have no authority from the government at all. They just spy on people, and as such aren't a government position. |

That is true. Still, there is just something keeping me from agreeing to this. I may have to, against my better judgment. |

I think the main thing keeping you from agreeing with it is that it was your idea, so it makes perfect sense to you. However, I do not know what is going on in your mind, and I will never claim to know what's going on in anyone's. |
