Warmaster Julius Bowden, Master of the Servants of the Eye Chaos Faction and Traitor to the Inperium, the Deathwatch & the Ultramarines

Early Days

A few Scout Marines found Christopher Bowden on a civilised world in Northwest Ultramar after killing two to three ruffians who tried to mug him for some of the hard currency which he had. The planet had some social problems and there was generally a lot of unrest due to exceptionally high planetary tithes.

The First Tyranic War

Death Watch

After being promoted to the 2nd company Bowden joined the Deathwatch, which on his first mission he lost his left arm due to Heavy Stubber fire and nearly came close to death at least twice

The Epsilon Incident

Exile and The Empire of Ash

Bowden and his minions/cohorts/associates spent a few years moving form place to place and managed to carve out a loose empire of planets on the rim of known space in somewhat of a mockery of the realm of Ultramar. Bowden eventually was contacted by Abaddon the Despopiler who Bowden at the time had a lot of respect for and joined him, proclamed himself a fellow warmaster received an bodyguard of Veterans who Bowden named “The servants of the Eye”

The first battle of Epsilon 3

The Eye of terror

Medusa V

Warmaster Bowden and his “Servants of the Eye” Retinue took part in the campaign for control of the world of Darmonica, where he fought alone. The “Servants of the Eye” as well as its Traitor Guard allies struck at Darmonicas infrastructure crippling its railway network and its train depots and committing hit & run attacks at the tank columns.

Founding of the “Servants of the Eye”

Near the end of the Darmonica campaign Warmaster Bowden’s fortress was besieged by Tyranid forces, Bowden launched a furious counter attack that drove the bio-constructed monsters. During this time Warmaster Bowden finally cast off the last of the Black Legion Bowden was tasked with and proclaiming them “The Servants of the Eye”. The Black Legion Marines and their vehicles would be repainted to show their new allegiance with the Eye of Horus on Fire and the occasional Ultramarine symbol. Now Bowden’s forces will not just be loaned forces from Abaddon but a force under the dictatorial command of the Warmaster Bowden.
