Loud crashing could be heard within the forest. If one were to follow the sound it would lead them to a newly formed clearing. A lone girl was making these crashing sounds, by attacking various trees.

Her dark red, almost burgundy hair, cascaded down her back in a braid. She wore furs of black, in skirt, legging, and shirt form. She looked to be about sixteen years old, though she may have been older than that. Judging by her tail, she was a demon. She was most likely alot older than sixteen.

She stopped her work of demolishing trees when she heard a sound in the forest. She lifted her sword to defend any attacker. She had collected various jewl fragments over the past few months, and was not about to let all her work to get them go to waist. When she picked up the scent of a few humans she lowered her sword a little. When she saw the humans step into her demon made clearing, she put it away enitrely.

She stood there infront of the three mortals. She placed a leg infront of her as if she were going to step, but stayed in one spot. She positioned her right hand on her hip, and tilted her head to one side. She gave a very questioning look to the group, and they hesitated before speaking.

"Hello?" This girl had the strangest clothing she had ever seen. Most likely a foregner. They tended to always pass through Japan. She just blinked at the oddly dressed girl as if she were crazy. She took a step forward, then another. Soon she was walking right past the little group.

She kept walking after her rude little encounter. People bothered her anyways. She preferred to be alone. To travel by herself. She made a better team this way. Just her, herself and she, or something to that effect. However you said it, No matter what happened, it all came down to the fact that she refused to work with, or travel with anyone. At least, she hadn't traveleld with anyone since the attack.

She decided to get herself off the ground. She preferred the treetops when travelling in the forest. She could breathe easier, and she could spot where the forest ended. She leapt into a tree, then took the time to climb it. She smiled as she spotted a birds nest in the branches with a cracking egg inside.

Her head poked up over the treeline. Her body followed after and she started to sprint along the tops of the trees. She laughed as the birds flew alongside her. Being a wolf demon she had a lot of speed. Speed that could not be matched by any mere human.

"Having fun?" A silver and red blur sped across her path making her stop. She balanced herself on a treebranch and looked up at who had spoken. It was a boy dressed all in red. Long silver hair adorned his head. It was all she could do to keep from squieling her delight at his tiny dog ears.

"I was." She responded "Until a little puppy crossed my path." His eye twitched at the mention of him being a puppy. He shook it off and stated his reason for cutting her off.

"Hand over the jewl shards." He demanded. She raised an eyebrow at him. Not many would shout demands at her like that. However most people she met up with on the roads were human. They were scared of her.

"And what if I don't?" She asked.

"Then I'll force you to hand them over." He was a very stubbon person.

"I'm sorry but I worked too hard to get these." She said as she prepared to fight him, all the while keeping a relaxed composure, "Im not about to give them away."

Sakura was calmly walking through the forest. Okay, so she was really as loud as an elephant and she was breaking things as she went but if you had to spend time with a egotistical wolf demon hot shot, you'd be too. She was currently storming off from Kouga, the egotistical hot shot we mentioned earlier.

"Stuid Kouga, thinking he's better than everything else! Well, I'll make him realise that he's not! What will he say when he realises I'm gone? He'll be all upset and come promise me that he loves me and then take me back! Who am I kidding?" She kicked a stone.

"He won't even notice I'm gone, or he'll find it better. He always says I'm just in his way." She kicked another stone, sending it flying. She heard a noise from the bushes where it rolled in to.

"Who's there?" She prepared herself for a fight. A women stood up wearing a black and pink demon slayer's outfit. Sakura took an offensive position and the women sent out her giant boomerang, which Sakura avoided. Sakura jumped back trying to avoid the oncoming attacks. She had to switch to defensive tactics but they weren't doing her any good.

"Ah!" She tried to remember what the other demons had taught her to do in this situation but it wasn't helping. She was knocked backwards. Suddenly, pulling out a sword the demon slayer charged at her, sword held aimed at her heart. Sakura waited for the blow, wishing for Kouga to be there. She closed her eyes, waiting. The hit never came adn when she opened her eyes, her hand was holding the demon slayer's wrist and was twisting it.

"Sango!" The slayer turned to look at the others. Sakura pushed Sango back and pulled a defensive posture. A punch to the side, a palm to the chin and finally a kick to the stomach. Sango was sent flying backwards. Sakura looked down at her own hands in amazement.

She was loosing. How that was so, she wasn't too sure. All she knew was she was being beat, and bad. It might have been his sword. It had power. If she wasn't careful, that power would be the end of her.

"Why don't you end this now and hand over the jewl shards?" The boy said. He lifted his sword and charged her down again. He was stubborn, but then again, so was she.

"Who the hell do you think you are? Just waltzing up and demand I give up MY fragments of the Shikon jewl, You have a lot of nerve." She said, blocking a blow from his sword with hers. She knelt down and kicked at his legs. Too late. He had already jumped back. For a half demon, he had incredible speed. But two could play at that game.

Speeding up, she charged him down. She smirked as she went past him, swinging her sword. He was laughing. From infront of her. She missed! But how? She gritted her teeth and kewp charging him down. Everytime she missed. It seemed she underestimated the half-demon's power. That information came all too late, as she was sent pummeling through the trees to the ground.

"stubborn little puppy aren't ya?" She asked standing to block another attack. She pushed him away and bolted through the trees. Rolling on the ground again. Immediately she got up and tackled down the one she knocked over. She held her dagger to the girl's heart, and her claws to her throat. It was the same human from before.

"Kagome! Let her go!" He finally caught up ith her. She smiled to herself. She could use this to her advantage.

"If I do, will you get lost and stop trying to take MY Jewl shards?" That was really all she wanted. To be left alone. Not to be harassed.

"Not even." Tere was that speed again. This time she was expecting it. She extended her claws, and showed her fangs. She made the girl scream from beneith her, which in turn, made the dog stop dead in his tracks. She smirked and pressed her claws into the girls throat. If she pushed any more she would break the skin, and make her bleed.

"One more wrong move, and your little girlfreind gets it. Now be a good puppy dog and BACK OFF." She hissed. She heard the girl whimper under her. That was all she could do. Make little whimpering noises. If she talked she would get herself killed. The half-demon growled, but lowered the sword he held. She sighed and pulled her hand away from the girls throat. She knew he had given in. She was about to remove herself from the girl's stomach, but she was knocked away instead.

"Thank you Miroku." The girl said. She pulled her face out of the dirt to look at her attacker. The monk from before. How pleasant. Now the doggy had the upper hand. She was on the ground, and he had his sword out again. Wonderful, how she got herself into this mess. She was only defending herself from HIS attack. And now SHE was going to die.

"Bailing you out again. First Naraku, now this mutt. Can't you take care of yourself Mura?" Oh how she loathed that wolf. Such an inflated ego. She would take greeat pleasure in popping it with an extra sharp pin. However now was not the time.

"Just because you saved me from Naraku, doesn't mean your all that Kouga." Mura said standing behind the male wolf demon.

"But you seem to need my help right now. Admit it If I hadn't come along InuYasha would have cut you to peices."

Sakura was still fighting the demon exterminator and tey were fairly matched...only because of a few tricks Koga had taught her. She had pulled out two daggers, which she had been practicing with as of late, and ran towads the other girl, arms extended. One of the daggers broke the skin adn went deeper, causing a large wound to Sango's arm, while the other blade made it's way backwards into Sakura's forearm.

"Ahhh..." She grimaced, trying to ignore her own pain and push the other blade further into the raven haired girl's arm. When she could no longer stand the pain she lifted her feet and pushed off the ground, landing on a tree branch. Sakura faltered slightly at the sudden blood loss but she regained her composure.

"Come back here demon!" She just barely avoided an oncoming attack from Sango's sword then shot out her good arm to catch her in the stomach, but she wasn't prepared for Sango's twist. Sakura felt the sword plunge into her back as she fell on her knees, her mouth agape as blood trickled down her lightly tanned skin.

"AHHHHHHHHH!" She let out a scream with as much energy as she could muster before she let tears escape her eyes. Sango laid the girl down.
"Why...why...?" It was all she could say.

((you can write in what happens to you in your next post))

"Sakura!" Kouga made his way over to her side as did Mura. "Are you okay?"
"Am I still bothering you?" She lauhged slightly as Kouga shook his head. "That's good to know. Koga...I think...I....love....y..." Her voice faded away and her eyes rolled into the back of her head.

((again....you can write in what happens to you in your next post))

When she awoke, she was in a cabin. There were people scattered around it but she didn't recognize anyone. Sitting up she tried to remember what had happened but she couldn't.

"Where am I?" Everyone suddenly stared at her. then began to surround her.

"I thought you were dead!" A boy with a wolf tail said, smiling. She tilted her head to the side at him.

"Where am I?" She repeated her question, looking around at everything. No one had answered her yet adn she wanted to know. She couldn't remember anything.

"Kaede's hut. We've been here for a few days while Kaede prepared your burial." Her eyes reflected confusion as she tried to understand the situation.

"Kaede? Burial? What happened to me?" They all looked at her with disbelief. She shifted to and fro nervously.

"Kaede isthe healing woman here and you were almost killed by Sango, a demon exterminator." the wolf boy spoke again with a low voice. He seemed caring towards her, although she didn't recognize him at all.

"And who are you?" She shrank back from the boy, a look of fear on her face. She looked around again, full of doubt. "Who am I?"

"She's lost her memory." Kouga said, shocked.

"Not my problem." Mura said. She preferred not to get involved with people. It only lead to tragedy. Like with her family. Or the demons she travelled with. She was better off alone.

She turned, and exited the hut. She sprung from the ground into a tree.

"Don't suppose your going to give my shards back puppy?" She asked InuYasha.

"Not a chance." InuYasha said back to her.

"Fine." She hopped down, and ran off, in the direction of the southern lands. She was trying to find her friend. And her clan. Mabye they would be kind enough to take her in. She had travelled north, but only to find they had departed from their lands, and headed south, to seek the refuge of her own pack. Well they would not find refuge there.

She laughed as Black wolves jumped from the trees and ran with her. She was amazed. Usually creatures stayed away from her. But then again she was one of them. They spoke to her, and she listened carefully to their words.

"Do you travel alone Princess Mura?"

"Yes wolves I do." Mura answered them.

"Will you allow us to accompany you? You may need the protection, and the company."

"Why thank you for the ffer. If you desire, than you may." Mura smiled. It was true she may need the company.

"Very well Princess. We will come with you." Mura smiled as the five wolves ran with her. No six. She had not counted the swift moving pup.

"Towards the southern lands." Mura instructed them, "We're headed home."

She was worried. They chose her. She didnt mind it much. She just didnt want them hurt. She almost refused their company. She didn't much feel like putting them in danger. If Naraku was after her, He was after the wolves now too.

She looked around, completely and utterly lost. The wolf girl had left but the wolf boy still knelt beside her, a look of pain and sorrow on his face.

"Your name is Sakura. And I'm-" She looked at him for a second.

"Kouga." She said, unsure of how she actually knew his name. It had just come to her randomly. Kouga moved to hug her but stopped himself. He was so happy that she remembered him.

"Kouga...kouga...love..." Suddenly her head began to hurt. Kaede lit some incense to calm the pain and soon, Sakura was back to sleep. Kouga stayed by her side, holding her hand as she slept. It was the least he could do after letting her run off like that and get hurt.

"It's not your fault Kouga nor is it Sango's. This could have happened to anyone." Kaede tried to reason with him but it was futile. He wouldn't listen to her words, only those that came from Sakura. Kaede sighed before leaving the hut. She was sure Kouga would want some time alone with Sakura.

"She awoke." Kaede said to the group outside. Sango looked up, a look of relief on her face. She felt guilty for attacking the girl, without knowing that she was actually on their side. She began to wonder where the other wolf girl had gone, Mura.

Mura sat in the treetops, watching the pink orange glow of the sun as it disappeared beyond the horizon. It had been the most eventful afternoon she had encountered for a while, but exciting to boot. She was still steamed at the fact she had lost all four of her jewel shards, and been saved again by that egotistical maniac who called himself the leader of the eastern tribe. However it had not been so bad. Despite the fact she had worked hard for those shards, she would rather have given them up to the strange priestess whoa was collecting them for good reason.

"Princess. Do we rest here for the night?" The wolves called up the tree to her. They had decided to protect her at all costs, as she had found out earlier when a small demon attacked. The poor little thing had gotten itself killed.

"Yes." Mura said softly and quietly. She didn't know if the wolves had heard her, but they questioned her no more, and slunk off around the base of her tree to sleep. She herself yawned widely. It had been a long day, And she would be up well before sunrise. So the time to sleep was now, but not before that sun disappeared completely beyond the horizon. Never to be seen before daybreak next morning.

When the sun finally, was gone, Mura drifted off to sleep.

Sakura stirred in her sleep, her eyes fluttering open. She'd had a strange dream. A dream of a wolf princess bounding across the land in the middle of the night, a pack of wolves behind her. The birds were chattering outside, something that was a welcome change. Something familiar. She wiggled her nose and toes before removing herself form the makeshift bed. The smell of incense danced around her as she stepped out into the crisp morning air.

"Ah, Sakura, you have awoken. I must go inform Kouga and the others." A young priestess spoke quietly in passing. Sakura blinked her eyes twice. This scene was familiar yet unrecognizable. She smiled anyways and walked aroun the small village for a few minutes. Her body allowed her to go where ever despite how sick she'd felt the day before. The wounds weren't healed yet but they held no pain.

Sakura made her way through the village, hunting for something familiar but finding nothing. Eventualy, she hit the edge of a forest. Curiosity got hte better of her and she traipsed off int othe forest, not concerned with her own safety. As far as she knew, it was perfectly safe.

Her small but graceful feet took her through the forest quickly, leading her to some spot. When she stopped, she looked up. It was strange. There was a large tree above her. The same feeling of nostalgia hit her. This was where her feet had lead her, the path they knew all too well but she had no recollection of the place.

"Where...am I?" A sudden noise nearby made her jump in fright. The forest didn't seem so safe anymore. Sakura climbed the tree to get away from whatever was around. The creature then showed itself and a loud scream erupted from her, echoing throughout the forest. A large, hideous creature stood before her, a large taruntula like demon.
