In fact, some time back, like 6 year ago or something, he was coming over for the Scotland v US comp in Florida, I believe, and I send him a post and invited him to come and throw with us in the Midwest if he had a chance. And I'll never forget what his reply was to my invite, he said, "It would be the breastbone of my trip." He couldn't make it to Illinois, but I took that as a compliment from him and will never forget his gracious response. Davie - I think we're staying at a B&B in Inverness for the first 4 nights then wandering about for another 4 nights. My Dad is a piper (and a storyteller) and has been over for the World Pipe band competitions in the years past so he is anxious to show us around. He says our clan is McLaren and from the Inverness region. (So, he's got alot of stories to tell too ... wink, wink, nudge, nudge.) Karl - Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I'll be traveling with my family (Mom, Dad, Wife and 2 sons, 19 & 21) so we've rented a van. I'll convince them that we've just gotta get my picture taken doing a handstand in front of the CF/CS ... or something like that. Let me know if you have any better ideas than that, ... kay? BTW - I'm still the underdog in this years MWC06 comp (<200lb) after taking 2nd in NewHampshire last year and 3rd in Oregon previously...
