* - My counter/ time keeper mis-counted and after checking the vid I was one thruster short on the last round.

Slow and lacking in pop - definitely capable of faster on a better day but after the weekend Oly cert I can be happy with this.

Tuesday July 28

Lizzie’s Mid life crisis

5 squat cleans, 177lb
5 ring dips, 24kg

6:51 - last dip took about 40 secs, total muscular failure. Otherwise, really good little WOD thanks to Jacob Tsypkin!

Wednesday July 29

A chance to get sweaty with the boys

Leon and I made up numbers with Lee in his class WOD

5 rounds
5 deadlift, 285lb
10 ring dips

Then with Connor, Lee and Leon ...

21 pull ups
15 double unders (sub tuck jumps)
9 burpees

Managed to get some double unders for the first time since returning from BrandX - must have been the presence of Connor in the building!!

Thursday July 30

Road trip back down from Che Kempie to CF Manchester and a WOD with Connor and Karl Steadman

Worked up to a 1 RM snatch balance - 90kg

Then rowing intervals

For me this was row 300m in a minute then rest one minute - repeat ten times

Any missed intervals accrues 10 reps of your goat of choice to be done immediately after tenth interval

Luckily managed all 10 with seconds to spare - next time 305m per interval

Friday July 31

A little lethargic today figured to just pull some snatches and see how things went

Will post some vid later. Still jumping too early - high hang snatches and snatch pulls in my future. That said, 80kg felt easier than the 72.5kg last week
