Thought I should do this too...keep a track of what I'm doing and how often. Due to illness and other commitments I've not made every class. I want to keep track and make sure I don't slack off too much.

Tonight was strength.
5x5 Deadlifts 10KG,10KG,12.5KG,12.5KG,15KG either side on oly bar

Done some squatting, just with the bar. Was shocked at how much that position resricted the depth of squat.

Done v little benching with 4kg d'bells. Moved up to 8kg but was too wbbly to continue.

I'm missing class tomorrow due to a wee night out with work. I shall power-shop for time in the afternoon!

Strength day again for Jackie

5 x 5 deadlifts working up to 50kg

Then 1 x 60kg and 2 x 60kg

Technique was really good on the 60kg reps.

Back squat with oly bar

3 x 5 reps

Well done Jax that was some strong lifting!

I think you'll find that I got three in a row baw bag! Now stay the hell outa my thread!

Forgot to say I done Mondays class, pack workout.

Also done a couple of runs tonight 200m as part of warm-up and 400m as part of cool-down. Its been a while since I ran...(note to self - get new sports bras!) but I wanted to make sure I could manage the sprints for Painstorm on Saturday.

I missed class on Friday Night, but really I was saving myself for the storm...

Done Painstorm xi pack workout.

200m run
5 muscle ups (20 Pull ups/20 Dips)- assisted
200m run
10 HSPU (40 Shoulder Presses) - 10kg bar
200m run
30 overhead squats (PVC pipe) -plus a wee run upstairs to get ma pipe!
200m run
20 SDHP (oly bar/ women 25-35#) I used a 10kg bar
200m run
30 pull ups - assisted
200m run
30 press ups (push ups) -three quarters
200m run
30 swings (weight of choice) 6kg dumbell
200m run
40 burpees
200m run
50 thrusters (oly bar/ women 25-35#) - subbed this for push press
200m run
100 squats - sets of 30,20,20,30

Good workout - bit dissapointed with certain bits, should have had more faith in myself and picked up a heavier dumbell for swings. Lost the will to live halfway through burpees - Thanx to Skud for his support (shouting)

Time :1 hr 0min 28 secs. No pukie but got 'the boak' a few times

Todays workout was 1 hour indoor softball, which I suppose only really counts as light cardio these days. It used to leave me gasping for air, but things are getting better.

Also started trying to reign in the diet today. Unfortunately I've got into bad habits, using the fact that I'm training to eat any old crap. I finally figured - I'm doing the hard bit! Surley, if I sort out the fuel intake, the fat ass will disapear?

Used 5kg plates either side of the body bar. 3/4 press ups.

3 x 5 x dumbells(didn't see the weight - just asume they were heavy)

Friday 10th march

Pack workout
As many rounds in 20 mins of;
Lunge Thruster x 10 (used 2.5kg plus doughnuts either side)
Press Up x 10(3/4 then box)
Squat x 10
Chin 2 Knee x 10

I think I managed about 6/8 sets plus lunge thursters, pushups and 2 squats.

Jeez - Im sorer this morning than I was after the storm last week. Arse and thighs are v sore, wonder if I can get someone to rub me better ? lol

Enjoyd it though...I think I might be a sadist.

Sumo Deadlift High Pulls


wOW - Toughie, didn't keep a note of reps during sets, but I think I will next time. Push-up were pretty bad form, lunges got a bit wobbly....but a real sweaty workout.

Loved it. I think tabata is a great equalizer, EVERYONE is knackered by the end.

No chalk so loads of failed/broken sets. I never realised how sweaty my hands are doing this.

7 mins of each couplet followed by 1 min rest

Squat x 10 reps
Press up x 10 reps (3/4 moving onto box)

Thruster x 10 reps (5kg either side)
Chin 2 Knee x 10 reps

Lunge x 10 reps(still finding these really hard)
SDHP x 10 reps(5kg either side)

Deadlift x 10 reps(5kg)
Push press x 10 reps(5kg didnt drop the bar to the ground at all on this couplet)

As usual , knackered - but delighted.

Friday night I done the pack workout...and nearly quit - even so far as to tell Dave he could shove his 40 f#@=in burpees right up his ass! His reply...? Fine, but you wont get a time!

This was not good. But I couldn't do all that work and not get a time! So after much internal turmoil I sucked it up and produced a set of 40 burpees. V slowly, and probably v sloppily - but done.

As always, was last to finish, but I take pride in the fact I'm pushing myself with heavier weights and making sure every rep counts.

Feel a bit wierd about heavy stuff tonight as it wont be davie thats coaching me.

Will post results later.

Class workout Friday 24th March

Big Dog's ladder tonight. For time 1 - 12 - 1 of the following:

Squat
Chin to Knee
Lunge Thruster (STARTED WITH 5KG - DROPPED TO 2.5KG ON SET 8 ON THE WAY DOWN, THEN HAD TO SUB IN PUSH PRESS - SISSY!)
Press up (3/4 -ONTO BOX FOR LAST 4 ROUNDS)
Box Jump (4 RISERS HIGH)

31.38 TIME.

V tough, especially keeping going as people are leaving the hall! I liked this, but can only ever manage a 'big dog' when its a ladder? Strange?

Big Dogs - 5 - 10 - 15 - 20

I managed only six sets +5 bear +6 lunges

Woot! another big dog workout. Done three quarter push ups for all sets, and 6kg (6KG!!!!!) either side on the bear complex. Knees feel a bit tender this morning. I think the bear is my favourite excersise.
