Marine ply for the boxes mate, dearer than normal ply but not had any bother with any of them after a year of constant abuse, we had a sheet left over so we made a 33" box..nice
is now MediumSi007

Thanks for the info about marine ply for the boxes. Hopefully get round to building one over the next couple of weeks.

Davie, not been up to Mavericks yet, I'll need to take a run up. Is it a gym or more like a class environment that you used to run? Are you running any crossfit classes in it?

Any idea rough costs and if it is busy at the moment? I'll need to pop up and have a look as the gym I am at just now is pretty busy in the evenings.

Let me know if you do start classes though.

Tuesday 16th June

AMRAP - 20 mins
5 pull ups
10 press ups
15 squats

18 full rounds.

1st time I've ever done this (believe it or not) and quite happy with number of rounds completed.

Not posted in a while but since this was the first time I'd done this, thought I'd record it.

Friday 24th July

"Murph"

Run 1 mile
100 pull ups
200 push ups
300 squats
Run 1 mile

Split this into 20 rounds of 5 pull ups, 10 push ups, 15 squats.

Time - 47 mins

Unbelievably tough especially due to the heat. May try this again in a couple of months when its a bit cooler to see how much time I can take off this!

Not posted in ages but after browsing through the forums again, came across a workout on Davie's page and thought I'd have a go:

cf endurance rowing 6 x 500m 2min rest between

1.40
1.40
1.41
1.41
1.42
1.44

Enjoyed this one although 5 and 6 intervals were tough.

Start of workout - Row 1K = 3 mins 17 secs
Workout in gym
End of workout - Row 1K = 3 mins 23 secs

Very happy with this especially the first 1K....now need to try to put the two together to improve my 2K time.
