had to do two workouts today to make up for travelling yesterday;

Front squats bw 56kg
40kg
45kg
50kg
55kg
60kg
62.5kg
65kg (pb)


"Linda"

D/Lift 75kg
Bench press with d/bells 15kg (someone using bench and bar)
cleans 35kg
All weights were down because I was not sure if I could complete the reps.

Well done on the front squat PR

Your time for linda was really good as well. When I do it I always use dumbbells because my shoulder doesnt like bar bells!

Did "Murph" today as follows

one mile 6.20
pull-ups 20 unassisted the rest assisted
press ups 50 full without break 150 3/4 breaks of 50
air squats 50-50-50-50-50-50
cant remember last mile, ex boss standing over me pushing all the way!!!

had a wee run today but had to cut it short, lower back very painful, think it may have been the angle i did my hspu`s yesterday.

Going to do a 10miler tommorow :huh:

10 miles am 1hr 13mins

pm

50 box jumps 2o inch step
50 jumping pull-ups
50 kettlebell swings 8kg medicine ball
walking lunge 50 steps (this raised some eyebrows in my car park)
50 knees to elbows (did knees to chest on pull-up bar)
50 push press 20kg oly bar
50 back extensions
50 wall ball 5kg med ball
50 burpees 2x25
50 double unders (did normal girly ones )

24 mins dead

really enjoyed that one, for some reason I wanted to punch Malky after each set, could anyone explain?

ran home from work today- 6miles, gave myself a bit of a challenge today, ran back the Docharty heights which has a 2 mile hill rising to 1000 feet, the rest of the run was well undulating, when I got home I was in a cold sweat never been like that before. I totally believe my getting to the top of the hill was due to crossfit as I tried it 6 months ago and had to walk nearing the top.

Rock on crossfit ;)

having said all that, will have to do 2 wod tomorrow cos Im to knackered hope its not a hard one :(

Oh dear spoke to soon, floored with sore throat, bumming headache and fever ridden joints for last three days, no training, so back to it today.

Back squat/below parallel

plus some core work.

Well this one was harder than it sounded, or maybe I am still not 100% well yet.

Warm up - 2 times round shinty pitch then 6x50m strides

Four rounds

8kg med ball for cleans 20 reps
100ft walking lunge about 30 lunges
7kg db snatches right then left 10 reps

16.01

9,7,7, pull ups on shinty shed rafters( I felt like rocky)

Practise hand stands push ups (am I ever going to be able to do them)

Oh my god! hardest yet for me. I can still hardly use my arms and my workout was 2 hours ago!!!!!

Pull-ups 10 rounds- first 3 rounds i managed but had to do jumping pull-ups after that

Ring dips-sub 30 bar dips-first 3 rounds i managed but then had to go to bench dips after that, sorry i wimped out.

Time-26.32 :(

Arms not to bad, now its my back!!! Thank god its a rest day more practise for hspu and a wee run.

I just want to officially tell everyone I got my new kettlebells yesterday and I cant wait to try them. :rolleyes:

No rest day for me!! Travelling at weekend so have to catch up.



Core work to start 15 mins

Deadlifts

2x15 warm-up with bar
2x10 60kg

1x3 80kg
3x2 90kg
1@92.5kg,1@95kg,1@100kg,1@110kg,1@115kg


Decided to do a bit of bench as weel;

2xbar warm-up
5@30kg
5@40kg
3@45kg
2@50kg
1@55kg :)
