Workout today as follows

3 rounds for time of;

row 500m
21kb swings 12kg
12 pull-ups

17.03

Pm

Training with the big Malc!

6xmedium paced sprints
6xfast sprints

I did becks burpees-50m x3 Malky did double leg bounds
double leg jumps over 3 steps x6 3 times
single leg high skips over distance 3 times
6 hops for distance then change to other leg for 6 x3

I then began to show of my hspu (well hs with a wee dip) 3x3

Malky decided he wanted to do it as well, can you believe he wanted me to hold his legs!! he is 20 stone, and I had to catch his legs. However he did quite well for a beginner ;) Well done Malky, I think this time next year the Highland games will be a distant memory and he will be a 15 stone crossfitter, then I woke up

For time

Oh dear bad workout today;

Run 400m
50 pull-ups broke down from 10 to 5 underhand and overhand, took me ages
Run 400m up to this point I was on 10.05.
50 press-ups full unbroken
Run 400m
50 sit ups unbroken
Run 400m
50 squats unbroken

Time 19.56

I think when I master kippin pull-ups I will be a lot quicker with the workouts, cant seem to make the connection in my head.

Had a couple of days of, started new job and its quite full on. However back to it today.

12x1 min hill reps

Then

50 reps of following

squat
press-up
box jump
chin to knee
burpee
deadlift 60kg
push press 12kg kettlebell
sdhp 12kg kettlebell

Hey jax,

Love the Avatar, but where are you???!!! you should be swinging it, eh wrong choice of words but you know what I mean.

Job is good, quite heavy going a lot to learn feel knackered at end of day, did you enjoy the wedding give me the gossip ;)

As for the crossfit cert, we are going to New Zealand in Jan, with stop of at Stevinson in California, so I am praying there may be a cert going on close by about then, if not I will find out where the locals hang out and go and play with them.

Had a mad workout tonight bar and k/bell swinging all ways trying to hit those damn highland midges. My legs and arm are covered in bites

Well of to bed now, coming down to Newburgh highland games at weekend camping at Blair Atholl on the way, hope we get the weather.

Speak soon

Love julie

say hi to joolz for me, and whats her husbands name eh.........oh yes Brian

decided to give "Barbara" a miss today, as I did much the same on Sat. Instead I did a 45min hill run. First Highland games hill race of the season is on 1st July, in Glengarry near Inverness.

It comes round all to quickly every year :o
