Davie, try it with 60kg thrusters?

Luckily my DU are okay....got 40 in the first round. Its my thrusters that were well slooow, all unbroken but very slooow....need to kep working on them, they just dont like me!!!

It had me breathing real hard because of the metabolic stress from the DU`s oh and the thrusters!!!

:D probably cos I am not fit as well!!!

Took a week off.

This looked good after davie doing it, so decided to give it a whirl!

"The Chief"

3 power cleans 50kg
6 press ups
9 squats

Rounds in 3 minutes
1 min rest
x5

1st set 4 rounds and 6 press ups
2nd set 4 rounds
3rd set 4 rounds
4th set 4 rounds
5th set 4 rounds

That was good fun!

had a "helen" disaster today

First 400m 1.17 then the rest of the time was split into very long interupted periods. Never had sole use of pull up bar, so gave up in the end and just finished the workout as I could!!!

Pm ran 2 mile trail with daughter who is getting faster every time I run with her now!! No waiting on her today....

She ran her first school cross country on Friday and came 22nd out of 200 girls!!

Been ill all last week, really gungy, found out from Doc its bronchitis!!

Everything I do is an effort!!

However…did manage 2x bw overhead squats.

then 5x5 weighted pull ups

Gonna have to be just strength this week as I cough less with that!

Finally starting to feel better after my chest infection!

Hspu down to 1 inch pad
Deads as rxed
9.17

In hindsight, should have gone with hspu rxed as I did the first set an easy 10 reps. I just have not done hspu in a loong time and did not want to stop the clock as I had already done a set of deads. Next time I will go straight as rxed. Very happy with this though!

cant remember what I did lately, have written it down in my log book but left it at gym!

Sat 30th may

Painstorm at Simons

39 something

Monday

back squats 3x5x50kg
front squats 3x5x40kg

3 rounds of

10 lunges each leg/20k bar
15 sit ups
20 box jumps

Tuesday

Sprint orienteering at running club..this was great fun. We covered 7 miles of long distance efforts to short distance sprints. had 20 points to reach throughout the session, was very hard!

Wed

2x spin classes at work

Hill climb session and intervals session

Thurs

10 deadlifts 80kg
2 rope climbs
50 double unders

x3

Simon had a play with Malkys farmer walks and 80kg log lifts
Simon covered 20 metres with the farmers walk.....with 160kg!! Strong work.

I covered about 10 with 100kg, in my defence the handles were well thick!!
