still cant front squat because of my wrist but going to try wrist straps next week

Back squat

105kg x 15 reps up 2.5kg on last week

very wet, very windy - will play catch up with the metcon tomorrow

also neck is very sore, must have been sleeping funny

Saturday - horizontal rain = no shoulder pressing

Sunday - break in the rain = shoulder pressing

3 sets x 5 reps x 50kg - up 5kg on last week

then

12-9-6 x 35kg - up 2.5kg on last week

neck made a funny crunching sound during the 12-9-6, sitting here a few hours later i can hardly move turn my head. Time for some painkillers and a beer i think.

couldnt sleep last night, was up at 4am because of my stupid neck. Had a wee snooze in the afternoon and it feels a bit better

Back squats

warm up sets with 40,60,80 and 100kg doin 5 reps each

work sets

110kg x 3 reps x 3 sets

Met-con <15mins

24kg kettlebell russian swings

as many reps in 6min 30secs

2 mins rest

as many reps in 6min 30secs

Round 1 - 209 reps

Round 2 - 161 reps

Not been on the kb's hard for a while and did it show tonight. My grip was really hurting on the second round. Will need to get back into the kb's...that was brilliant

back didnt feel happy in the last set so stopped and took the pr

18 reps x 115kg pr

done in the back garden at 10pm with the temperature around 0 degrees..a wee bit chilly

Feel quite feeble in comparison. :-/

Miles says I should check you out on facebook, will do at weekend when I get a chance. Have to prep our big Halloween party for Friday, quite excited.

Playing catch up as I didnt get my squats done yesterday

Back Squat -

warm up 20kh, 40kg, 80kg

Work set - 12 reps - 1min rest - 9 reps - 1 min rest - 6 reps done with 110kg

then

Shoulder press. Because I crunched my neck last week I dropped the weight a bit

Work set - 40kg x 5 reps x 3 sets

then 35kg at 15 reps - 1 min rest - 6 reps....was supposed to be 12 reps then 6 reps but felt it in my neck again so called it a day there

Back squats

Warm up sets 40, 60, 80, 100kg - mix of reps 5, 3 and singles

Work sets

3 x 112.5kg
3 x 112.5kg
3 x 112.5kg

My legs were so sore after Saturdays squats that I wasnt sure how this would go, but the squats were good.

then

12-9-6 reps with 1 min between each set x 35kg

this felt ok today, still got aches and pains in my shoulders but managed this with minimum crunching and grinding

Im a day behind - took yesterday off as i was exhausted

Back squats

5 x 60kg
3 x 80kg
1 x 100kg
1 x 110kg
1 x 120kg
1 x 130kg FAIL
1 x 130kg
1 x 140kg FAIL

140kg is my pb so a bit less but happy with that

then

Fran - ish

40 kg thruster
pull ups

5mins dead

REALLY happy with that, felt really strong on the thrusters.

the 180 and 185 fails were more psyche outs, talked my self out of them. My hips rose really quickly so it was going to turn into a stiff leg deadlift and I could feel my back strain so called it quits

then

125kg x 16reps...that hurt
