Character Faceclaim: ![]() Basic Character Details --------------------------------------------- Character Name: Kristoff Melean Character Age/Birthdate: 18, 12th September Character Gender: Male Character Race: Human Combat Racials: Efficient Combat: Earthlings get one additional AP point to start with. Extreme Potential: Earthlings get an additional Transformation Trait to all non-God forms, but transformation base requirements are increased by 10%. Non-Combat Racials: Hastened Learning: Instead of gaining a Technique Slot every 5,000 Power Level, Humans gain one every 3,500 Power Level. Loyal Student: Every two weeks you remain with a master, you get a 10% bonus in Power Level to your next thread with them if they’re a Player Character. If this is an NPC master, you can claim a 10% bonus to Power Level in a thread once per every two weeks with that master. Character Height: 5ft 6" Character Weight: 154lbs Physical Appearance: Youthful and well toned Kristoff bears flame-red hair, yellow eyes and is rather pale skinned. Otherwise, being of average weight and height, there is not much to differentiate them from anyone else you'd meet in the street. Personality: Seemingly polite, courteous and generally unflappable in any situation, however dire, it is often hard to marry Lt Melean to his extensive disciplinary record. Skilled beyond reason the man seems to take orders as a suggestion when presented with them from someone he feels is his inferior on the field, resulting in a number of dressing downs that, suprise suprise, don't appear to have any real effect. His talents however mean that when he does recieve an order that piques his interest he is a force to be reckoned with; patient and methodical the Lt only really shows his crueller streak once he has the mission objective safely in hand. Prefering not to kill those of "lesser talents" he has instead sent many a soldier to the medics and the shrinks with the "punishments" he has considered perfectly acceptible. These have ranged from painting an enemy officer hot pink and hog tieing them to the back of the unit's jeep to bring them in to besting a superior officer in a training duel and opting to shove wasabi up his nostrils. Alignment: 25, We're here to do a job, no one said it can't be fun. Current Location: Earth Sector 2 - North City and Environs Additional Character Details ------------------------------------------- Character Sexuality: Straight, but curious Marital Status: Single Character Relatives: Having lost his family as a side effect of a gang tussel Kristoff is alone in the world.. and likes it that way. Rivalries: None Character History: A troubled youth who moved from home to home, Kristoff Melean lead a relatively happy childhood, though most would consider it somewhat disturbed. The boy was exceptionally bright, passing classes with ease, however with that intellect came arrogance and, with the arrogance causing him to look down on his classmates, came with those who sought to remedy his arrogance with their fists. Usually this is where the tale would end, the smart alec would learn to hide their contempt to avoid beatings and all would, for want of a better phrase, work... but not so in this situation. Brawling is simply a matter of leverages, of psychology and physics and Kristoff was good with such things; acting with a fearlessness borne of his assumed superiority his would be bullies soon learned that the smart kid was also a demon when it came to combat. By the time he reached high school most had heard from the students who had risen up with him about his exploits and those who sought to challenge the "smart kid" soon found that little was sacred. Kristoff was often in trouble for such fights, especially when the odds were stacked against him and he deemed it appropriate to bring a table or chair to bear. Unsatisfied with the career options available to him Kristoff sought to take some time serving in North City's military, yet here his arrogance would bloom fully. Quickly learning the regulations he began to find ways to avoid and shirk duties he did not approve of that, when action was moved against him, he could happily explain away. His commanding officers, while infuriated, could not help by ackowledge his talents both for combat and corkscrew reasoning and promptly elevated him to Leiutennant and posted him where he could both do no harm and be called upon in times of need. Rotting away in his not-quite-a-prison-placement Kristoff was just begining to wonder if perhaps he was doing wrong when she came; a woman who the mayor pleaded was now in charge of the military, a woman who walked with the sort of self assured pride he did. Eager to see if there was at last an equal to compete with Lt Melean challenged the woman to a round of sparring... and when he awoke in the medical bay a day later was promptly informed of a small village he was to travel to in order to recieve his training. Apparently his pechant for not killing the weak tied in with the woman's own moral code and his habit of humiliating them instead did doubly so. He was to be one of her enforcers, a rank and pip above most of his peers regardless of rank... and the smile on his face could have made a demon weep to see it. Ambi-sinister - Tier 1 Support The user is able to draw grenades and other thrown explosives/incendiaries regardless of weather a weapon is drawn or not. Doing so costs 5% Ki per draw and the drawn weapon is holstered if unused. Cost: 5% upon weapon drawn, but otherwise, passive Learned Fighting Styles: Tactical Considerations Stance Power: 1AP to activate, 5 turn cooldown.
