Welcome to Injustice Gods Among Us
Set in a dystopian DC Comics universe where the legacies of Superman and Batman square off for the fate of the world.

1. Leadership
1.a: The roleplay is led by four individuals known as the Overall Leaders: the current leader of the Regime and Insurgency and their co leader.

2. Format
2.a: The roleplay format is principally Emote.
2.b The roleplay is set 100 years after the Injustice Gods Among Us comics and games, hence all major canon characters are dead.
2.c If your character is defeated they suffer a major injury for 24 hours, and a minor injury for 12 hours.

3. Character Development
3.a: Characters must list their power levels in their motto. Ex. {2} means their an In-Betweener.
3.b Each month a character of a faction can achieve a different class of power listed below, after being assessed by the current Overall Leaders.

{1} Street level. The bottom level. For anyone without metahuman abilities or those with very low-level powers, like healing factors, slightly improved physical stats, mastery of martial arts, mastery of weapons use, and a plethora of other powers an abilities.

Ex. Daredevil, Batman, Catwoman, Nightcrawler, Bane

{2} In-Betweeners. Characters that are in between street level and mid-level. This is debatable, however, I consider the Spiders and characters in their class of power to be substantially more powerful than characters like Captain America and Batman, so they go here. Other characters that go here are martial arts masters that have feats placing them here, people like Midnighter and Wolverine that have one or two traits putting them above street level, etc. I place Wolverine here because of his healing factor, which allows him to defeat most street levellers in debates. Luke Cage goes here because his durability means that most street levelers cannot handle him in a fist fight, unless they have very good martial arts mastery, though this is debatable and Luke Cage could also belong in the street level tier. I put Iron Fist here because of his chi abilities, which put him a step above other street levellers.

Ex. Kaine, Iron Fist, Spiderman, Midnighter, Scorpion, Wolverine, Luke Cage, Zealot

{3} Mid-tier. Characters like Iron Man, Namor, and Ms Marvel. These characters display strength nearly on the next tier, and have other powers that place them here, but they don't quite have the power of characters on the next tier. This may also include characters like Electro, who have powers putting them on the next level but either not enough feats or not enough skill. Characters such as Thing or Colossus or Rhino may go here or possibly on the next level, depending on how specific we are. Aquaman could go either here or one tier lower. Hawkman might also go one tier lower, but I consider him a good fit for this tier. Namor could go one tier higher.

Ex. Ms Marvel, possibly Starfire, Electro, Iron Man, possibly Thing, possibly Colossus, Rhino, Aquaman, Hawkman, Namor

{4} Planetary. These guys are generally a step up from the last level. This level includes most Omega-level mutants, most high-end energy warpers, a few bricks, and high-end telepaths. Most characters made of energy or inorganic matter should go either here or on the lower level. This also includes elementals such as Red Tornado and Firestorm. These characters might possibly be able to move up a tier, but are a better fit for this tier. Others who may fit here include shapeshifters, force fields (Invisible Woman),

Ex. Hulk, Red Hulk, Iceman, Magneto, Graviton, Jean Grey, Red Tornado, Firestorm, Vision, Sandman, Human Torch, Invisible Woman, Storm, Mr. Fantastic, Plastic Man

{5} Cosmic. Includes heralds, Superman level beings, Superman knockoffs, Superman clones, Superman robots, Superman look-alikes, Super- I think you understand. Also, guys like Thanos and Darkseid belong between here and Skyfather level, but I'll stick them here. They are generally seen as more powerful than Superman level characters, however, they can belong in a similar tier, I guess.

Ex. Superman, Thor, Sentry, Hal Jordan, Wonder Woman, Black Adam, Captain Marvel, Gladiator, Martian Manhunter, Quasar, Nova, Silver Surfer, Thanos, Darkseid, Juggernaut, Doomsday

{6} Skyfather level. Zeus, Odin, etc. Celestials could go in this tier, but they are a little more powerful than skyfathers. Note: Odinforce Thor is not in this power range. He is above Superman level beings, but not on skyfather level. So, there could be a tier between this one and Cosmic tier, but I didn't feel like making it. Sorry. Not really.

Ex. Zeus and Odin

{7} Universal threats/ busters. Includes Galactus, Imperiex, Tyrant, Celestials, etc.

{8} Multiversal threats/ busters. Includes beings like Molecule Man (pre-retcon), Living Tribunal, Presence, The One Above All, and pretty much all abstract beings like Eternity.

4. Legacies
4.a: Although canon characters aren't allowed in DC Comics roleplay there legacies are, essentially you can be a Wayne or Superman's descendant.
4.b: Major legacies like House of El, Wayne, and Wonder Woman can only have three people per legacy; unless you have a former living character.

5. Character Creation
5.a: Characters can be any species, except for New God.
4.b: If a character is an overpowered species like Kryptonian their class will reflect their level of durability, speed, overall power, etc.
4.c: Characters are allowed one movement style, whether that be Super Speed, Flight, Teleportation, Skimming, and or Acrobatics.
4.d: Characters begin at Street Level {1} and become stronger at the discretion of Overall Leaders.
4.e: Character creation is accepted by the leader and co-leader of either the Regime or Insurgency, depending on their chosen faction.

6. Banned Powers

  • Reality Warping.
  • Omnipotence.
  • Omniscience.
  • Omnipresence.
  • Banishment.
  • Omniarch.
  • Causality Manipulation.
  • Omniarch.
  • Time Manipulation.
  • Necromancy.
  • Life-Force Manipulation.
  • Energy Manipulation.
  • Ability Creation.
  • Dimensional Manipulation.
  • Science Manipulation.
  • Adaptive Resurrection.

Moderated: (Ask permission from all Overall-leaders)

  • Reactive Adaption.
  • Power Absorbtion.
  • Meta Summoning.
  • Cytokinesis.
  • Myth Mimicry.
  • Regeneration.

Additional

We know that in DC Comics there are some overpowered species like Kryptonians, etc; and that characters develop differently. For example, it would be implausible for a cosmic class character to be defeated by a mid-tier. So this is a guideline as to how power levels work. This means if you roll a Kryptonian character your overall power will be no match for more developed characters. A {1} street level Kryptonian would be absolutely decimated by a {3} Mid-tier class. It's plausible that a Mid-tier could even endure their attacks for a long period without sustaining much damage at all. This is a game balancing feature in the roleplay that allows you to have whatever character and abilities you want but limits your overall power to them.

After advancing past Street level your character's overall power will drastically change.

{2} In-Betweener characters have tenfold the strength of a street-level class.

{3} Mid-tier characters have hundredfold the strength of an in-betweener class.

{4} Planetary characters have thousandfold the strength of a mid-tier class.

{5} Cosmic characters have one hundred thousandfold the strength of a planetary class.

{6} Skyfather characters have one million fold the strength of a cosmic class.

{7} Universal characters have one billion fold the strength of a skyfather class.

{8} Multiversal characters have one trillion fold the strength of a universal class.
