0degree, for me i think in drifting better use esc with reverse. may not be so good for yr motor, but its good to haf since drifting alot of trial n error. my car always jadi tow truck for imran n khole when their cars is 90degrees at the wall.. :vmad:

bout brakes, i never use them that much. more to individual style i guess.

oh...and motor pula. saya akan guna tamiya Tz 23t. Ratio: 5.7.(mcm bro Rhyme ckp) . esc saya Novak Cyclone TC buruk..tapi tahan lasak.

haa..satu lagi..korang guna esc reverse ke? drift ada pakai brake ke? brp byk setting drag brake pada esc ?boleh share?

Standard Tamiya TT01D x de reverse pun ... asal ade brake cukup dah...function nak move weight from center to front jer.. dan nak stop.

Tapi kalau pakai pvc brake kuat cam ne pun lambat stop gak.. :bye:

my tt01 setup

tyre : pvc/abs
camber: front 0 back 0
toe out: front -1
toe in: back -1
front dampers: 2-holes
back dampers: 3-holes
damper oil: front 500w back 500w
spring: ori tamiya silver springs back & front
motor: 540 silvercan (tamiya ori motor)
spur: 55
pinion: 25
front diff: standard
back diff: standard diff locked with bluetac

:terror:

Good setup. Just wanna ask you something do your silver can motor give you enough tourqe and power to drift with the spur? I used the same motor with std spur, but still feel loosing the end tourqe.

25/55 is great drifting with abs. because the abs has doesnt have much grip so it wont really strain on the 540 silvercan motor. i've heard of some ppl over heating the esc with this ratio with the silvercan. all i can say its all up to your "finger/jari". if you trottle to much sure the motor will heat up lo. and with a 3800mh batt you silvercan compared with a 23turn the batt life is better. 60-100mins of play time.

dont really use the brakes too. unless i'm heading to the wall. its more of a throttle blip blip, and full punch kinda thingie to drift.

mine...

Car : Yokomo Drift Package MR-4TC SD CM
Motor : Tamiya Super Stock Motor Type TZ 23T
Camber : Stock front and rear
Toe : Stock front and rear
Shocks : Stock
Springs : Stock
Ride height : haven't measure yet.
Tires : Yokomo Drift Tire & ABS
Diff: Rear Tightened.

guys, may i also ask how to use the chamber and toe and ride height? coz i really haven't figure it out. there are some parts that as per the manual are not use. so if i want to change the above, wat effects would it have? actually sometimes i would like to play with ride height being higher when drift on road, but have no idea.

hi unix..

may I know your final gear ratio? pinion and spur size. Im using similar turn motor and car.
