Yes, I know what you are thinking. A library isn't a classroom, so it can't have rules! Right? Wrong. The library is part of the castle, I am a staff member. There are a few simple, easy to follow rules I have. I dont have very many, so it shouldn't be hard for you to floow them, right? Good. Rule One:: No wands are to be used in the library. There are books in the library that are very old, and priceless. I do not want to have to send a bill to your families if you destroy a book. Beleive me, I can, and will. However, I have one exception: If it is homework for you to practice a spell, then I shall allow you to use an empty classroom located at the back of the library. I will check up on you to make sure that you are not messing about though. Rule two: Should you take out a book, then I expect it ack within a week. Once a week is up and you have not finished the book, you may come to renew the book. If not, I will wait a few days, then dock a few housepoints from you. Rule Three: The books in this library are valuble, and some very old. I wish for you to take care of the books. That means: -No food or drinks around the books. -Handle the books with care. -NO MAGIC NEAR THE BOOKS. Follow these rules, and we shall get along just fine ............. Alana Marks - Librarian |
