Congratulations, I picked you. Like you really wanted Day 2.

Anyway, we can go back and forth through PMs, or you can spam me with a bunch.

I picked you because of your eagerness, and because I think understanding what alignment you are helps me figure out this game because a lot of my current thoughts hinge on that.

We can only talk through PM. You may have Ulti verify this. This goes on until 9 PM EST.

omg omg omg

OKAY, first thoughts (aka welcome to my mind aka MADNESS APPROACHES WATCH YOUR STEP)

That end of day rush was weird. I immediately called out Deadpool's vote, since it made zero sense to me for him to switch over from the second-leading-lynch to the leading lynch when he thought it more likely the second-leading-lynch was scum. But by the time I'd posted that thought, enough people had jumped onto FD to hammer him.

Obvious question is, why?

If there are six scum alive, the answer is obvious: they're trying to end the game here and now. Which means us dragging this out another day is contingent on either Atma or Leo hitting a scum during the night phase.

BUT on the other hand, six scum alive means seven total scum. Which is <i>possible</i> in 21, but strikes me as very unlikely. Still, it seems prudent to be pessimistic right about now.

HOWEVER, Tange and Deadpool both finished on Corrik d1. That suggests they're town...

UNLESS--there are two scumteams, and scumteam A was absolutely convinced FD was a member of scumteam B because he claimed the kill on PJ <-- this possibility actually makes sense!

==> Scum rush was because Ytter was a member of their team, they thought FD was a member of the other team, and they weren't afraid of looking bad because they figured everyone would forgive them when FD flipped scum. Their evidence for this was FD's vote on Corrik, and his killing PJ

<b>====> ScumTeam Ytter is Ytter, Deadpool, Tange, based on the people who scumrushed. ScumTeam Zara is Zara, plus almost certainly two people on the Corrik lynch: Gravy and... MI? MI by process of elimination here.</b>

Note that Deadpool's immediate reaction to the lynch was to declare two scumteams null and void. Presumably, this was to deflect attention away from his team's mistake, since it doesn't make much sense if there's one team with five people left.

GG also immediately denies this. One assumes there is also some advantage to his team in making people believe there is only one team, though I cannot fathom what it would be. He then goes on to attack Ytter, a person I already slotted on his opposite team. Very nice.

also hey DOUBLE NIGHT TIME YOU'RE STUCK WITH ME FOREVER~

...Leo's survivor scumhunter? That's... a weird combo. Like, why would someone who's wincon is to survive till the end also be trying to kill scum at night? ...Is he actually a part of Scumteam Ytter, or am I overthinking this?

Also someone tell MI that, while scum could literally all claim in the topic and tell Leo what lynch to join in on, Survivor doesn't just get added to the scumteam's rolls >_>

Also, you mind asking Leo why he wanted you to pick me? Kinda curious, what with the <b>REVEALS</b> since then.

Hmm...

Ask Tange why the code lets him lengthen days and nights, please.

that's strange.

because The Code is basically an extremely strict code of chivalry, which allows for no moral gray area. Furthermore, Samara states at one point in the games that (quoting from the wiki): "due to the harsh nature of the Code, curiosity is a liability for a justicar." That doesn't really gel with an ability that lengthens time to talk.

But, on the other hand, lengthening time to talk does seem like a town ability...

Something to mull over, at any rate.

<quote>So Dowolf now thinks Zara was telling the truth and somehow didn't kill him?</quote>

WIFOM. Perhaps Zara's team thought I was a member of Ytter's team, and thought this would be a good way to get me lynched.

As for kills, there must have been kills overlapping, or blocked, or someone tried to shoot Leo.

The code is very much a moral code. Sorry if my previous PM wasn't clear.

does...

does Ytter have the power to kill himself?

I am so confused.

whelp.

there goes my theory.

...MI and Gravy are now the only people left alive who finished on the Corrik lynch. Everyone else, save Zara, has flipped town.

...But there must've been some scum on the Corrik lynch, right?

Right?

who the hell busses the scum roleblocker day 1?

The safe bet sounds like there is at least one.

MI > Gravy just because MI is an uncountered doctor claim. And I'm trying to figure out where death miller fits in when vanilla also sounds like a trap.
