[.............]The Code of Conduct

The following is this games Code of Conduct, relating to both gameplay itself and to personal character. We strongly suggest that you take these points seriously.

We expect and encourage:
- Proper and appropriate in-character negotiation.
- Documentation for all orders, actions and agreements.
- A sophisticated, long term outlook.
- The capacity to simulate historical and ahistorical developments, decisions and agreements.
- Simulation of all aspects of a country.
- Mutual out of character discussion and help for research.
- Trust, friendliness and enjoyment.
- Reward for intelligent research and play.
- True roleplaying.
- Encouragement for depth and detail in responses, posts and policies.
- Foreign affairs and negotiations conducted in the fashion, manners and language of the time.
- Nations looking out for their interests.
- Realistic military, technical, economic, social and political alternate development.
- Opportunity costs for choices.
- Infrastructure development within the framework of the game.
- In character alliances between states.

We strongly discourage:
- Playing in the short term, as you might a board game.
- Trying to rush all developments at once.
- Out of character pacts, backstabbing, personal vendettas and rumours.
- Rushing events or decisions out of context to what can be done at the time.
- Copying developments of others without IC reason or proper supporting argument.
- Forgetting it is a game.

We want to build a sense of trust and a fun, friendly environment, a place where you can feel free to ask questions about the game and the way it is being run, and where common sense is always at the forefront.

Finally, “Honour. If you need it defined, you don't have it.”
