So very close and I'm happy that you made it this far despite such an emotional ride.

Well played, Porunga.

if you're voting for things that are banned by the rules, then you don't have the right to do that.
Except no one is doing this and you are the only person who is saying otherwise.

Getting to computer in a second but Goku covered 90% of what I wanted to say

to be clear: I would prefer kawazu wins. I think he played better. I think zeno was largely just a goat all game. That is irrelevant to the point I'm making.

the fact that kawazu may or may not be faking his personality should have no bearing on the vote at all. Vote for who you think is more deserving. If thats zeno, great. If that is zeno because you said something personal to kawazu and kawazu made something up thats personal, thats against the nature of an anonymous game.

Yeah everyone is actually entitled not to vote for someone roleplaying as an asshole though?

Think about what you're saying, YT. Your whole argument is, presumably, based on what Buu said here (since it's the closest anyone has come to saying ANYTHING EVEN REMOTELY CLOSE to what you're claiming people are saying):

We had super personal conversations and I shared sensitive things with him I haven't shared with most people, and it was all bullMr. Popo's Stool on his end. Kawazu is probably the worst finalist at jury management I've seen in a long time.

No one is saying that they're voting against Kawazu because he faked his personality. People are voting against Kawazu because, among other reasons, he did a bad job of it. The jury members are able to see that he wasn't the best, obviously, at putting on this persona. Additionally, the "character" he was playing may not be someone that people want to see win. Think about this--if Jonny Fairplay was playing Survivor: Pearl Islands, made it to Final Tribal Council, and then his (supposedly) dead grandma pranced into the Tribal Council area while Fairplay stood on a chair and began loudly singing "Kawazu, Kawazu, Kawazu", people would be within their "rights" to vote against him.

The fact that this is an anonymous game has nothing to do with this. The fact that Kawazu's jury management was, to say the least, subpar, can and should have a bearing on how people will end up voting.

Okay. Basically, as a starting point, the beauty of a jury is that the jurors have a "right" to vote whoever they want for whatever reasons they want. Susan won Greece because, while the general consensus was that Monika was the "stronger" player and was more strategic, Monika pissed the wrong people off with her jury speech and lost votes. A more recent example: Shaco won League of Legends because people were allowed to vote wherever they wanted, and enough people didn't like Lulu or Garen that Shaco was able to take the win, despite Shaco being widely seen as having a "weaker" game than the other two. Michelle beating Aubry in Koah Rong is an example of this kind of thing happening on the show (along with the obvious example of Russell vs Natalie). Jury management is a thing that exists, and Kawazu has done it wrong.

Now, I agree with you on one point: a jury vote being affected based on ID is screwed up and really shouldn't be happening. But that's not even remotely why I don't want to vote Kawazu. My reasoning for not wanting to give my vote to Kawazu is due to actions he took inside of the game that made me lose respect for him. It has nothing to do with how I perceive him outside of this game and only has to do with Kawazu the player. I don't really know or care who Kawazu is for the purposes of this game. Kawazu is Kawazu, and he has lost my jury vote.

Even pushing all of that aside? If I take the position that everyone who plays Survivor should be gamebots and not take anything emotional under consideration? Zeno competes with Kawazu strategically in my mind. I'd be willing to make a case for this but I want the finalists to do that themselves before doing so.

Thank you for this mental image.

I would argue Shaco won because half the jury loved him, not because of the quality of the other two finalists.
The Greece comparison is more apt but I get the feeling Zeno did not strategically take someone he thought he could beat here.
