I've decided to log all of the Herald's in chunks because otherwise it would take FAR to long. So, here we are with additional commentary. The Herald Archives: Issues 1-5 The very first Herald! reporting about the resignation of Safalra. Notice the original mascot, the Angelic Herald. ![]() 2nd: This style was based around newspapers like the Sun and the Mirror, which you can easily see. This one is on about the candidates up for the election. ![]() 3rd: This was the start of the interviews with the candidates, and was the first time the Herald got to the second page. It was a bugger designing it, but I think it's ok. ![]() ![]() 4th: Filler RP story after Hirota dropped out of the delegacy. Rather sinister really, I don't know if I like it :S ![]() 5th: Interview with Ithania. So far, the only time that the Herald has reached 3 pages. Quite an acomplishment. ![]() ![]()

The Glerican Herald Archives: Issues 6 to 10 6: This one was announcing DPL winning the election for delegacy Good show ^^![]() 7: Surprisingly this newspaper was publshed right before the English-Canadian Choco war, so it was a urprise when we were surrounded by chocolate wielding maniacs. Notice the addition of the prices at the top. ![]() 8:The War Issue, possibly one of the most popular issues and a lot of fun to write. My personal favourite. ![]() 9:The issue announcing the cabinet as voted by the people. ![]() 10:This issue was about Aadamsgrad's cheese scandal, not well recieved and not very funny on reflection.

The Glerican Herald Archives: Issues 11 to 15 11:Whats this? the beggining of a story arc? Thats not supposed to happen! ![]() 12:Number two of this arc... amazing. ![]() 13:All continuity and no play makes The Herald a dull paper. ![]() 14: Fireworks... the international symbol of peace. Bar the loud noises and flames. ![]() 15:The Glerican Games, a beacon of hope and justice and lots of gay jokes. ![]()

Although the Banana was first comented upon by Ithy..the Banana was first "claimed" by asxtc after the the nations flag was planted on it.
As it was claimed for "all of England" the nation asxtc happily hands jurisdiction and all the problems that might arise from ownership of the Banana over to the current delegate. |

[Special Press Release from Rhanukhani State News Network] Following recent observations of a reduction of the speed of the now infamous "Banana" currently airborne over western Britains Empire, scientists onboard the Rhanukhani State Space Station received permission to engage in field observations. A crew of two intrepid "Bananauts", Charles "Buzz" Mantlepiece and Malcolm "Buzz" Soupspoon, proudly became the first ever Rhanukhani workers to set foot on the object at 05:38 (RST) yesterday morning. Initial reports sent back to the Space Station confirmed that the surface of the "Banana" is composed of a "tough organic compound, similar in many ways to banana skin". Attempts to bore deeper for a core sample were thwarted when "Buzz" Soupspoon slipped onto his posterior in a comedic fashion whilst setting up the equipment, leading to an emergency medevac of both "Buzz" and his partner "Buzz". The crew hope to engage in further research at a later date. Dwight Alabaster, Rhanukhani State News Network (Astahni - 00:42, 09/12/07) |

***ASXTC Emergency Press release*** Due to recent changes in the Bananas trajectory is is deemed wise for all persons in the East Somerset province to be vacated. Those persons that are still in the area over the next 48 hours will be escorted to safety by the appropriate authorities. It is important to stress that no known immediate danger exists and that the local emergency services will provide transportation and accomodation to those affected. The Banana is still expected to landfall in the nieghbouring empty state of Britians Empire but it is not known yet what repercussions this will lead to. Specialist NBC units are on standby to monitor, detect and deal with any unusual conditions that may arise in the border areas. The Emergency Evacuation Helpline number for friends and family is: +9999 1011016 or press "1" on your state issued IPhone for direct connection. |

[Press release from the West-Side department of Star Gazing] A group of leading scientists and druids have been dispatched from One-Time this morning, to observe the impact of the unknown object. A reinforced bunker has been built on the north-eastern shore of the Civil HQ and from here we hope to record the event for later analysis, and chuckle a bit. West-Side would like to invite other nations wishing to detail this unique event to send observes to the bunker. Tortillas with dips, and a selection of beverages will be provided for the event. |
