At 6:00 hours this morning a Glerican Task force set up a large research base in the north west coast of what remains of Britain's Empire. The base, named "B-Base 4" comprised of some of the most advanced research paired with some of the most advanced ans rather scary weaponry ever created in Glerican hands.

Our main aim here is the research of the remains of these lands and the creatures and systems that dwell upon it. Please don't get in the way.

My God, could it be that BE himself has impacted Youngtung. :D

Just remember, lad, that I still have 2/3 of the region's arms in my nation (in very strategic locales, of course.) :ph43r:

[Special Press Release from Rhanukhani State News Network]

Triumphing Over Disaster in Northern Rhanukhan!

It has been several days since the famous "Banana" impacted with the former nation of Britain's Empire but repercussions of this event are still being felt all over England.

A large fragment of the "Banana", ejected into the atmosphere during the impact returned to the surface with a splash, landing squarely in the mouth of the Prism Gulf off the northern coast of Wharadhan province. The resulting tidal surge swamped coastal towns and industrial sites, causing millions of khongs worth of damage to factories and equipment and possibly causing an irretrievable reduction in profit for this quarter. The surge also killed and injured approximately 250,000 Rhanukhani workers and citizens and left countless more homeless. Rescue teams and the military were swift to respond, however, and at least ¾ of the worst afflicted factories and industrial units have already returned to full operational status with complete restoration expected within the next 24 hours. Work on homes and dormitory camps will begin in the new year.

The "Banana" fragment's impact has had a lingering effect; an enormous slick of foaming banana juice has spread across the entire northern reach of the Prism Gulf, washing up on the shores of our own Wharadhan province and also the coasts of neighbouring ASXTC and Mad Chester. Wharadhan City's famed natural harbour is currently choked with the bright yellow foam and the province's popular and profitable beaches are facing financial ruin although Wharadhan Beachcorp has recently released a statement announcing the launch of a new sister company, Wharadhan Banana Milkshakes Inc. which it believes will prove a lucrative sideline venture.

The government has announced it's intent to dispatch a team from the Department of the Environment to assess the possible ecological impact of the slick and a team from Customs and Excise to assess the potential taxation possibilities in regards to those businesses exploiting the newfound resources offered by the "Banana" fragment.
