The signatories of this document have agreed to the following: • Any unprovoked attack against one of the signatories’ nations and/or their armed forces is considered an attack against all of the signatories’ nations and armed forces. • Unprovoked, for the purpose of this treaty, means when the signatory’s nation had not attacked the invading power before the invasion of the signatory’s nation occurred. • As a result of an agreement to the first point, all signatories will respond to the aggressor(s) in a way which is considered a justifiable reaction to the aggressor(s)’s actions. • All the signatories may resort to the use of war in their reaction to the actions of an aggressor(s). • The decision regarding what actions by a signatory’s nation are justifiable as a response to the specific actions of an aggressor(s) rests solely with the government of the signatory’s nation. • All signatories, though, agree if another power starts an unprovoked war against a signatory’s nation, then all of the signatories’ nations must declare war against the power. • All signatories must use the resources available to them to defend a signatory’s nation under attack, unless the attack on one of the signatory’s nation was a response to an offensive operation by the concerned nation (; in which case, the decision to defend the nation is voluntary.) • All the signatories’ nations must participate together in defensive operations. For the purpose of this treaty, defensive operations are defined as the actions of a nation to defend itself against an invasion of the nation’s territory. An operation cannot be classified as a defensive operation, if the nation which is being invaded was the one that fired the first shot. • By mutual consent, any or all of the signatories’ nations can participate in offensive operations. • When a signatory’s nation conducts an unprovoked war against another signatory’s nation, then the nation which started the war will be considered to be the aggressor, and will be treated in the same way that a foreign aggressor is treated courtesy of the provisions of this treaty. • A signatory may revoke this treaty, if he gives 15 days notice. • The potential duration of this treaty is unlimited. There doesn't need to be a war between yourself and the members of the Fruitbowl Alliance, Youngtung. In fact, have you considered joining our alliance? |
