Happy Valentines day to all you love birds out there.

So what have you got planned? need an idea swap or romantic notion? Ideas swap?

This year, I have made my wife a wooden sailing mast (about a foor high), rigged some parchment to it and written poetry, just to keep the passion and love alive :D

Tonight we will get the kids to bed and share a beef wellington with Verve Clique and an episode of Lost.

Marvelous

I was on a date last night, as tonight I'm going into London to see Justice, the acclaimed Parisian electro duo.

It looks like everyone else is going to have a romantic evening arguing with Nivogal about the election.

I am currently having a romantic working late.

So what have you got planned?

Trying not to get depressed again. Actually, this year I don't need to try too hard, as things are going quite well at the moment (although I'm still single) - work is fine (I'm nearly at the end of a six-month software project I've been working on), and in the last week I've been able to help a couple of depressed friends feel better, which in turn makes me feel better. Hmm, I seem to be straying from the topic...

By the way, this should probably be moved to General Discussion - it certainly isn't roleplay.

I might drink a bottle of Sake, on my own of course ;).

Ohh, actually there's football on tv ^_^. Time for me to snuggle up on the sofa with my blanket and enjoy that.

So true for the second point.

As for the rest of the evening, I'm probably going to spend it romantically cleaning my flat (long overdue after 5 months) and writing whilst listening to the sweet sounds of a Japanese horror movie :ph43r:

I’ve spent most of it crying and moping about not physically being with the person I adore for the next lil while. I hate how life separates people at the most inconvenient times... or maybe he was just running away, I wouldn’t blame him. :D

*giggles* I shouldn’t be sat here talking about elections, I should be out somewhere doing naughty things in romantic settings... ah well, next year will be better. ^_^

Since the beginning of time (ok about the time when i started dating my missus---back in 85ish) we dont do valentines...on purpose.

Theres nothing like being forced to "buy flowers" or "be romantic".....I do that the whole time.

Valentines day is for the unromantic...it pokes them in the right direction and makes them react.

Genuinely romantic people dont need to be told.

Oh my, that sounds exactly like what I think. I enjoy indulging in the day for a little fun but I think red roses, chocolate, etc aren’t thoughtful or romantic.

I don’t suppose you’d like a second wife? :P

Surely, everyone enjoys Indian food? Tikka masala is practically one of Englands national dishes.

I can't stand anything spicy. Plain poppadoms are nice though.

*giggles* I’m not actually sure whether I can eat spicy food or not, I know that probably sounds silly but very mild things make me scream for water while things that cause other people to beg for a drink and make it hard to breathe don’t affect me at all. It’s like the spiciness just doesn’t register at all.

Used to do Sunday lunch in an Indian in Darlington and a mate of mine always asked for phaal.
That is seriously hot...i dipped my fork into his sauce and ruined a whole day. He used to wipe his forehead with his napkin and it was yellow.
On another occasion, during a chilli eating contest. After cutting the fresh chillis i rubbed my eye and couldnt see for hours.
