Digi Xros = Digital Cross. Refers to a combination of multiple digimon.

Digi Xros is a type of evolution that uses additive power to increase the power of a single digimon. Digimon power is measured in “Power Datum” and the average for each stage are as listed:

  • Fresh Digimon have no PD value.
  • In-Training Digimon are worth 1~3 PD
  • Rookies average at 10 PD
  • Champion average at 20 PD
  • Ultimate average at 40 PD

Each Digimon has something in it known as a Digicore. This is the most important part of a digimon and is essentially it’s most important organ. the Digicore is the identity of the individual digimon.

When using Xros, the resulting combinations are often referred to by the letter X, representing Xros, and the number of Digimon included in the form. A digimon made of 3 parts would commonly be called an X3 or Xros 3. This is strictly a denotation of number, and not of power.

The Xros application allows the user to combine their digimon by designating a "Center" Digimon and converting other digimon into building blocks to alter that digimon's form. Each Xros app is capable of handling the power structure of up to 4 Digicores. It is possible for multiple tamers to combine the strength of their Xros apps to increase this number.

Because Xros is additive, we add up a percentage (of 60%) of each of the building-block digimon's power (rounded down to the nearest whole number) to the "Center" Digimon, give us this formula (where * is the multiplication sign):

("Center" Digimon) + ⌊0.60 * (Sum of the component Digimon)⌋[1] = Final PD

Examples (using Average PD unless otherwise stated):

  • Rookie[10 PD] + ⌊0.60 * (Rookie[10 PD] + Champion[20 PD] + Champion[20 PD])⌋ = a X4 with (40 PD)
  • Champion[20 PD] + ⌊0.60 * (Rookie[10 PD] + Rookie[10 PD] + Champion[20 PD])⌋ = a X4 with (44 PD)
  • Rookie[10 PD] + ⌊0.60 * Rookie[10 PD]⌋ = a X2 with (16 PD)
  • Riskomon[11 PD] + ⌊0.60 * (Buttermothmon[9 PD] + Tribeemon[12 PD])⌋ = Riskomon X3 (23 PD)

When filling out your character stats, please list your Xros Components somewhere, preferably following the name of the Xros or in the trivia section.

Xros EX - [HP Bug Green+, 100 Legos, Life Silk]
-------Upgrade to the Xros app. Allows the user to support up to 8 cores. Allows the user to Super-Evolve their core digimon. Allows the user to xros directly from the digifarm app.
[1] the ⌊ ⌋ symbols means to "floor" the number, as in to round down to the nearest integer.
