Jogress I

Posted Image
Joint Progress = Two digimon merge their digi-core together during the digivolution process, becoming one unit.

Jogress Restrictions: Jogress I can only be performed on digimon of Champion or higher levels, and the PD of the two digimon must be within 5 PD difference of each other in order to Jogress. (This matters for "Spirit Digivolution" as they tend to not have a set "level" but WILL have a set PD.) All Jogress forms must be also approved by the administration before it can be implemented, in order to minimize issues that can come from pure math without restrictions.

Jogress I is a type of evolution that uses additive power to increase the power of a single digimon. The digimon’s Power Datum are combined and added then boosted to create the final result. Digimon power is measured in “Power Datum” and the average for each stage are as listed:

  • Fresh Digimon have no PD value.
  • In-Training Digimon are worth 1~3 PD
  • Rookies average at 10 PD
  • Champion average at 20 PD
  • Ultimate average at 40 PD

When filling out your character stats, please list your Jogress Components somewhere, preferably following the name of the Jogress Result or in the trivia section.

The Formula to obtain the final PD of a Jogress I is as follows, where * is the multiplication symbol, and results are rounded down:

1.2 * (Sum of the PD of the two digimon)⌋[1] = Final Product

Examples (using Average PD unless otherwise stated):
  • 1.2 * (Champion[18 PD] + Champion[23 PD])⌋ = Ultimate[49 PD]
  • 1.2 * (Ultimate[38 PD]) + Ultimate[44 PD])⌋ = --- [98 PD] !!NOTE: Example does not stand in LinK due to nonexistence of Megas.
  • 1.2 * (Gatomon[20 PD]) + Aquillamon[ PD])⌋ = Silphymon [54 PD]

NOTE: Jogress I requires the strength of more than one Digi-Nav to function. After upgrading the application, access to Jogress II is gained.

Jogress II

Joint Regress = Two digimon merge their digi-core permanently during the de-digivolution process, becoming one unit. The resulting de-digivolution MAY seem weaker, but upon digivolving, it will gain a boost.

Jogress II is a type of evolution that boosts the average of combined digimon powers to increase the power of a single digimon. Unlike Jogress I, Jogress II is a permanent combination of the two digimon involved that produces a more powerful previous stage instead of the next stage, and each instance of Joint Regress generates DU (DNA Units) which factor into a digimon’s PD upon digivolution. Refer to the list above for average PD values of each level.

Jogress II Restrictions:
  • Digimon must be Champion or higher to use Jogress II, and both digimon must be of the same level, e.g. both must be Champions or Ultimates. Spirit and Armor digimon can only Jogress II if they have the same leveled spirit; (e.g. both use Armor of Courage; H Spirit/Inverse B Spirit + H Spirit/Inverse B Spirit; B Spirit/Inverse H Spirit + B Spirit/Inverse H Spirit;)
  • Just like Jogress I, Jogress II cannot be performed without administration permission...because Joint Regressing is permanent and the Member's Data Sheets will need to be edited.
  • You can also only perform Joint Regress so many times; the max amount of DU you can obtain on a single digimon is [8 DU].

Each time you Jogress II, the resulting digimon's PD will be 20% of the sum of the original digimon's PD, rounded down to the nearest whole number. The amount of DU it gains will be equal 1 + DU of the highest component digimon. The formula is as such:

PD Calculation: ⌊0.2 * (Digimon A + Digimon B)⌋ = Digimon AB
DU Calculation: DU of Highest Digimon + 1 = Digimon AB's DU

What does DU do?

DU is factored into your digimon's PD upon the following types of digivolution: Normal, Armor, Spirit, Biomerge, and Digiquip. Each DU gives you a 7% boost to your PD. For instance, if you have a Rookie with 10 PD and 3 DU, upon digivolving to a Champion that normally has 20 PD, that Champion then gains a 21% boost.

Formula: Digimon[PD, DU]Digivolved[PD, DU] = ⌊PD * (1 + [DU * 0.07])⌋ = Final Digivolved[PD]

Examples:

  • 0.2 * (Champion A[20 PD, 0 DU] + Champion B[23 PD, 0 DU])⌋ = Rookie AB[8 PD, 1 DU]

    Rookie AB[8 PD, 1 DU]Champion AB[23 PD, 1 DU] = ⌊23 PD * (1 + [1 DU * 0.07])⌋ = Champion AB [24 PD]
  • Using Champion AB from above:
    0.2 * (Champion AB[24 PD, 1 DU] + Champion C[30 PD, 2 DU])⌋ = Rookie ABC[10 PD, 3 DU]

    Rookie ABC [10 PD, 3 DU]Digiquip [10 PD, 3 DU] = ⌊10 PD * (1 + [2 DU * 0.07])⌋ = Digiquip [12 PD]

[1] the ⌊ ⌋ symbols means to "floor" the number, as in to round down to the nearest integer.
