Card Slash is the ability for a tamer to aid their digimon by usage of Digimon Cards, which can give digimon wondrous boosts and abilities! Digimon Cards are a natural-occurring item in the Digimon World; it’s origins of crafting and history all appears to be a blur, and full of mystery. Regardless, it’s something that many digimon may curiously collect, and with the Card Slash application, its potential can be tapped into. Any tamer can own any number of Digimon Cards. In order to use them, however, you will need to load a deck into your Card Slash Application. The application can only take one deck at a time, and a deck consists of up to 20 cards. While you may take other cards with you in your DigiNav’s natural 1 unit of storage (Upgrades are in Blue Falcon Shop), you cannot use them unless you eject your current deck and re-build it, then re-load the deck into your application. Deck List Report: Card Slash users are required to provide their deck list in their first introductory post of a mission; you may create lists of different decks you build and place it in your character stat/information thread, and then tell us which deck you’ll be using in your introductory post. (Naming or numbering your decks will be preferable.) If you do not tell us what your current deck list is at the start of a mission, or if you do not set a default deck that is establish to be “always loaded unless otherwise stated,” you will NOT be allowed to use Card Slash in that topic. Likewise, if you have a default deck but forgot to mention that you wanted to use a different deck at the start of a mission topic, you will not be allowed to switch your decks unless you are given in-RP time to do so (see Deck Switching). Deck lists do not require approval from admins, but you cannot have more than 4 copies of a single card in your deck; we would prefer that the information for deck lists be kept close to the information of your character of any of their non-digimon equipments. Example. A 5x4 table would probably be the best way to go. Deck Switching Not many missions will span more than a day, but in case they do, there may be times where you will find time to edit or switch your character’s deck, which may be crucial if you have found yourself in a situation where your current deck does not work out well. If at any time the topic states that the team has rested and the next day has come, or if we take a long-enough of a break for people to “rest, re-orient, and prepare” themselves, you can establish a switch in your card list or deck in your next post. We will keep an honor system, where if anyone keeps pre-made deck-lists made in their character stat/info threads, they will not attempt to modify said list mid-battle. If we find that changes were made mid-battle, your Card Slash application will “freeze” and you will no longer be able to use it for the rest of that mission, and you MAY accrue an increase in warning level. If you manage to cycle through all 20 cards in your deck during battle, you may take one full post to load a new deck of fresh cards into your application. Your digimon partners may not take offensive action and must focus on defending you or themselves during that post. How to use Digimon Cards After the cards and their information are loaded into your application, you have two options on how to access them: you can select it from the touch screen to activate it, or, you can choose the option to still carry the physical cards on you and slide it. There are two “types” of Digimon Cards: those with digimon on them and those with useful items on them. Cards that have digimon on them are cards that will grant your designated digimon partner the one-use ability to use a signature ability/attack of the digimon printed on that card. Keep in mind that the power output of said attack is still dependant on your digimon’s own stat levels. NOTE: (Most canon digimon have some pretty OP-sounding abilities according to the Wiki pages, such as “as fast as speed of light” or “will decimate any enemy”; please try to choose abilities that are not OP, or modify their descriptions in a way that will make it more fair. If any abilities that are too over-powered gets used, it will immediately be nerfed by the admin in charge of the thread in whatever way we deem fit, and multiple instances of “OP ability usage” may result in warning level increases.) Cards that have items on them will come with a description of what they can do for your digimon. Said descriptions are all here in this card list. Once a card is used, it takes 24 hours before the data re-constitutes for another use. In other words, spent cards are stored in the application until they are ready to be used again. And that is pretty much the gist of Card Slash! Happy Deck Building and Card Slashing! Edited by Rubixa-Seraph, May 17 2016, 11:36 PM.
