Helix Name: Helix Ramzie VIT: 1 ATK: 2 DEF: 1 SPD: 3 WIS: 1 Determined by Staff: PD: 3 KIN: 0 Talents: Besides being able to make a mean cocktail or mix drink, Helix has a rich history in strategy, coming up with plans on the fly in most any situation. Being trained for many years has given him a knack to pickup and wield most all kinds of weapons, not as efficiently as someone who has been trained extensively, but enough to get by. He has been trained in his own set of weapons including Knives, Daggers, Short Swords, Zwiehanders, Claymores, and Rapiers. Misc. Info Nickname: N/A Age: 19 Gender: Male Guard Team: The Black Sword. Personality: Very happy and trusting to his fellow comrades in arms, very skeptical of most people when he first meets them. Always tries to cheer people up and make them smile, and forget about the war they are constantly fighting. He was never taught the proper way of speaking or the pronunciation of words, and though people tried to teach him at a young age, he refused to learn. After much traveling, he can speak fluently he just chooses not to. He is fluent in sign language which Dobermon understands and translates. He will protect anyone at all costs, even it means he might lose a limb, because he knows that how his parents would want him to be. Bio: Helix lost his parents at the young age of 5, a Neodevimon surprised the caravan and struck with ferocity. The digimon quickly ran his mother through, making quick work of her. His father combated the beast, staving it off and going toe to toe. While he ran out of steam, he used his last bit of strength to jump the digimon, jamming his blade into the mask, prying it off with his last breath. The NeoDevimon quickly grabbed his father and ripped him in half, dropping both halfs and covering his face. While the digimon recoiled in pain, the Paragons raised to action and struck the digimon quickly, slaying it in a matter of seconds. While the deaths of his parents were quite tragic, Helix decided to think of the event as heroic. The actions his parents took saved multiple lives, they staved off the beast, protected the caravan, and stopped other members from getting hurt and possibly even dying. For some strange reason the Neodevimon mask never vanished into data, Helix decided to take the mask and wear it as a symbol. When Helix went to inspect the mask and put it on, the mask shrunk to his face, forming to his face and fitting perfectly. He took this as a sign, Helix decided to wear the mask as a symbol. A symbol of struggle, of strength, of goals, and of hope. Though he was young, he began to strive and want to be just as strong as his parents. He then began his ascent to becoming stronger. Sharpening his mind by finding and reading any books he could get his hand on. He mainly read about smithing, combat styles, formulas, and sign language. While life was tough trying to read and study, he underwent the strict regiment that his tribe did for most first born females and all males. The regiment took 4 years to complete. Over these years he mastered many different types of weapons, perfected his body and his mind, and continued to expand his knowledge of digimon, smithing, and styles. When he turned 13, there was a particularly strong blizzard hitting the tribes’ path, so while they were bunked down, he decided to go out exploring by himself during a fierce blizzard, despite being told not to. While out traveling he found something glowing in the snow, digging it out, it was a weird device. He stared at the device as it lit up, customizing to his inner preferences and shooting out a bright light in the blizzard into the sky. This attracted the attention of a fierce digimon, Dobermon, but it wasen’t like other Dobermon he has encountered, this one was not only melting the snow as he walked, but manipulated the ice and snow around him. Letting out a roar he lunged. The fight raged for a solid 15 minutes with many cuts, bruises, and broken bones with a lot of blood. After the bloody fight, Helix was lucky enough to slash the collar off of the Dobermon, grabbing him by the throat and pinning him down, but before he could commit, the device glew a blinding light, causing Helix to shudder. The Dobermon saw the opportunity and knocked him off, uttering the words 'You've bested me in battle... I will fight by your side... until I see fit to destroy you' the digimon snarled. After that fated day, the two became brothers in arms, Helix being the only member of his tribe with a digimon and this Diginav device, he was seen as more of a hero in combat. Fighting alongside and proving more vicious than the best fighters the tribe had to offer. While he and Dobermon continued to grow, they began hearing rumors of a Village that was sprouting up somewhere way down south, while the tribe was reluctant to let them go, they figured it was the best for the pair to let them go. They left a year before actually arriving at the Oracle Village, while taking their sweet time, studying and training in various environments, gathering more material and creating motions, triggers and sounds that him and Dobermon can make attack and defense plans out of. Arriving on the horizon after the year journey, Helix and Dobermon are ready for what lies ahead, a new chapter in their heroic journey of self-improvement. Though he has been trained in multiple types of combat, his style involves becoming disjointed, like a puppet on a string, causing unpredictable movements and strung together attacks, this catches people and digimon off guard while he strikes. Other: N/A as of this point. Dobermon Artorious, Former Gatekeeper of Amatarasu Server (Champion Form) Digimon: Dobermon Type: Virus Family: Nightmare Soldiers, Dark Area, Virus Busters. VIT: 8 ATK: 10 DEF: 3 SPD: 10 WIS: 8 Determined by Staff: PD: 24 KIN: 59 Abilities: Elemental Manipulation of Fire and Ice to a degree CQC: Dobermon has been trained (extensively) to use his claws and fangs more aggressively, despite generally being bad at hand to hand/close combat. he has been trained to excel, using his speed to his advantage, slicing enemy vital spots and going for the throat if necessary. While fighting he adds fire and ice to his sweeps, slashes, and bites, causing them to inflict way more damage. Attacks: Special Technique: Stalwart Pierce Dobermon rushes at high speeds causing the torrent of air to freeze, and cool his body off after Burst. This move causes the air around him to solidify, making an arrow point, and then launching off, like he was being shot like an arrow. With enough speed, he can pierce through most digimons skin and cores, attempting to harvest them. If the skin is too tough, this technique generally pierces it and creates a weak spot. Move 1: Burst Dobermon ignites, causing fire to pour from his body, causing his speed to increase drastically as well as ignite everything he touches, this move is generally used before his special technique and causes minor damage to himself. (+3 Speed) Move 2: Inferno Howl Dobermon lets out a howl, resonating from a target area, after a short moment the area explodes into flames. He can target multiple areas, but this makes the explosions weaker in power. (One explosion only: 50 Radius Radius from target location, Full Wisdom. Two Explosions: 25 Foot Radius from two target locations, 3/4 Wisdom per Explosion Three Explosions: 18 Foot Radius from three Target Locations, 1/2 Wisdom Per Explosion Four Explosions: 13 Foot Radius from four Target locations, 1/4 Wisdom Per Explosion Five Explosions: 10 Foot Radius From five target locatioins, 1/4 Wisdom Per Explosion) Move 3: Twin Elements Dobermon infuses fire with the power of ice, causing a bright blue flame to be launched, sears skin while freezing everything it touches. The other version launches a red ice lance which steams and freezes everything it touches, causing bad burns and bad frost bite. Since leaving his position in the Amatarasu server, he has sated a lot of his darker side, thought when he is in combat, he won't be afraid to tear out their throat. Armor of Ice and Fire: Artorias's body is covered in red ice that acts like reinforced metal, though it chips away with each hit, it can withstand fierce attacks and give him a lot more defensive power. After the armor breaks, He can spend 1 round renewing the shell. (+3 Def) Attacks: Torrent Shot: Two Heads (Middle and Left. OR Middle and Right OR Left and Right) launch an orb of their coresponding elements (Left and MIddle= Ice, Right and Middle=Fire and Right and Left= Fire and Ice) towards an enemy or target location, upon arrival, the orbs explode out in blast of the coresponding elements. Fire, ignites the area and enemies hit in blue flame. Ice, freezes and snares enemies hit in red ice. Mighty Roar of the Keeper: The three heads let out an earthshattering roar, causing all digimon of lesser power (Champion and below) to cower in fear as death begins to loom over the area. Against ultimate level digimon, it acts as a taunt instead. (Can only be used once per day, wears off after 4 rounds) Oh, Think you can escape?: After the roar, darkness began to sift through the area. Channeling this energy, Artorias opens a gate to the Amaterasu server. Jumping through the portal opening up, he ends up on the other side, entering his shift form; into Hunter mode. Strength doesn't equate to Power: In Hunter Form Artorias uses his SPD stat instead of his ATK stat for his damage. Attacks: Tri-Fangs: Artorias has 2 sets of 3 pronged claws. These claws can be imbued with power of Ice or Fire. These claws are strong enough to cut through Chrome Digizoid. Slice and Dice: In this form, Artorias sacrifices his defense to become faster and powerful. Using his claws on both his feet and hands. He rushes past the opponent, almost in a blur, using fire or ice to speed his movements up even more. While moving and striking he aims to severe legs, arms, and spine to limit his opponents movement. (-9 Defense, +9 Speed For this move only) Pay the Fee: Artorias has two coins that reappear after they are used(both must be used), each dictated with a symbol and a skull on the reverse side. With these coins Artorias can activate a few different effects by paying one or both of the coins. Once he activates one of the effects they cannot be reactivated until out of combat or 7 Turns, whichever comes first. -1 Coin- Pitch Black: Throwing the coin, the coin flashes. Whoever looking at the coin or is caught by the flash will be thrown into darkness. Clouding the vision and making it neigh impossible to see (Can affect allies as well) -1 Coin- Towering Inferno: Using the coin as the medium, Artorias causes a blast of hellfire to launch as a pillar from the coin, spreading outward, after a few short second the fire will cease and return back to the coin, the coin vanishes. (+3 Wisdom for this ability) -1 Coin- Crystal Chrysilis: Artorias sticks the coin to something or someone. After a short time the coin bursts, freezing the target in suspended animation untill the target breaks lose of sheer will, is released by Artorias, or is broken from the glacial wall. -2 Coins- Down the River: Used generally on targets near death, Artorias places the two coins in their eyes, putting them in an illusion that they are in a boat floating down a river, in a peaceful or calm state. This ability slows down blood flow, heart beat, and negates pain, putting the receiver in a peaceful state to be rushed for medical attention or enjoy a nice peaceful death. -2 Coins- Power of the Gatekeeper: Artorias clenches a coin in each hand causing dark energy to seep out of his palms, channeling the power of the Amatarsu server, he unleashes a barrage of punches. -2 Coins- Break the Seal: Artorias places the two coins against the backs of his palms causing a light to shine and fade quickly. He then receives a bonus in his Speed, Strength and Wisdom but takes a huge hit to his own Defense. (+5 to Spd, Wis, -9 to defense) Misc. Hunter also has the ability to launch a beam of light from the inside of the gate outwards. Excalibur's Wrath: Hunter charges his blade, Excalibur, with Holy Light, allowing his next 4 slashes to launch a stream of piercing light from the blade. He can expend all the charges and create a explosion of light from his location outward, knocking everything (including allies) away from him and causing substantial damage. (Gains 2 Charges per turn, 4 Charges maximum, +3 Wis per slash that expends a charge, +9 for expending all charges in the AoE attack) Archangel's Light: Hunter blesses whoever he touches with his palm, increasing their defense, strength, or vitality by +5 for 4 rounds. Each blessing may be placed on the receiver, but doing so takes 3 separate rounds. He can also channel it to heal wounds but not provide the blessing. Xros Shock: Tessa gathers lightning in her mouth and claws and uses it to unleash a barage of attacks or a powerful Bite. Claw Attack: Swipe Misc. Info Nickname: Tess Age: 45 Gender: Female Attained: Purchased from the ToatsMahGoats Trading Post. Guard Team: The Black Sword Personality: Tessa is very millitaristic in combat, being the second born Princess of the BIN Domain. She is very impulsive at times compared to her sister and will always act for a fight. Deciding she was tired of relying on others of her own species she decided to venture to Oracle to see if she could find someone who would entertain her and do some of the fighting instead of her always having to. Bio: After losing the bout for the throne, she respectfully went and joined up a ragtag group of other dinosaur-esque digimon. After a while she got bored of always doing the heavy lifting and decided to leave the group and go back to the BIN Domain. Though her return was well recieved, she decided living like royalty wasn't for her and left to Oracle to see if there was anyone who interested her. Shortly upon arriving she met Hyzan who was able to fight one on one while being equipped with his other partner. Intriguied by this, she decided to follow along. After traveling with him for a short time, she found her long lost friend Alexandra. Though she hasen't been with the team long, she already feels more at home than ever than when she lived in BIN. Other: N/A Tessa, The Lightning Princess of BIN(Champion Form) Digimon: Xros Greymon Type: Virus Family: Nature Spirits, Dragon's Roar, Jungle Troopers. Attacks: Lightning Claws: Tessa imbews her claws with lightning, causing her speed to increase. She then launches a barrage of claw attacks at the enemy. The lightning causes the claws to hit harder and zap the reciever of the strike. Mega Lightning Breath: Tessa spews powerful lightning in a cone infront of her, the lightning diwndles off the farther you are from the cone. The move has no wind up time. (Reach is about 5 spreading out to 40, doing less damage the farther away. Lightning Rush: Tessa charges herself with lightning, causing her speed to increase. Tessa rushes forward, moving the lightning into her helm, and using all of her momentum and increased speed, rams her target. Atomic Lightning Tail: She imbues her tail with lightning, strengthening the already powerful atomic blast, making it quicker and electrifying if struck by. Misc. Figure 8: Alexa covers her claws with ice allowing her to skate around most surfaces. She extends her claws by covering them in icicles, allowing her to strike fast and deep. Misc. Mini Cluster: Fires a cluster of small missiles, that cause multiple explosions on a target location, or can be locked on to an individual at less power. Mega Claw: Launches its tethered metal claw off its arm to slash or wrap up enemies. Flames of Wrath: (Combo) Gets up close and personal and uses her metal claw to launch a flurry of strikes, then, uses her Mega Claw, grappling or striking her target, and then unleashes a massive blast of flame from her claw on the target. Mach Strike: Using the booster on her back, she either uses her metal claw or her horn and rams into the target at mach speeds. Misc. Digiequips "Claws von Eis und Feuer" Core: Artorias, The Dobermon Equipment Type: Hybrid- Offensive Claws and Armor. Description: Dobermon turns into a pair of gauntlets that extend up past his forearms and greaves that extend past his knees. The fingers of the gauntlets and the toes of the greaves have extendable claws that are activated by flexing his fingers/toes for the coresponding equipment. The gauntlets and greaves are made out of a very strong metal that is reinforced with black ice allowing him to parry with the gaunlets or deflect a blade. The greaves have extra traction and allow to walk on ice or even allow Helix to anchor himself to the ground. The gaunlets specifically have the ability to withstand and resist fire and high temperatures. VIT: 5 ATK: 5 DEF: 4 SPD: 10 WIS: Abilities: Oh God My Feet are on Fire!: Helix has the ability to activate Dobermon's Burst ability, granting the same effect and allowing him to move at high speeds. Shock and Impact Resistance: When blocking, deflecting, or lifting, the Digiequip acts as bracers and absorbs the force, allowing Helix to block harder hitting moves and lift heavier things I may be strong... but I'm still only human: While Dobermon is digiequipped Helix uses his speed defensively, aiming to dodge and avoid most attacks if he can. Helix uses his speed to not only increase his own speed but aide his reflexes as well. Trivia: N/A Determined by Staff PD: 24 "Sand Shield" Core: Hunter the Sandtylomon Equipment Type: Defensive Item- Shield Description: Hunter turns into a Large kite shield, the deisgn is a sharks mouth with the Crest of Reliability on the front. These missiles function the same way as they would normally. Light and Diligent: The shield Hunter turns into is very light but can fend off most heavy attacks. Though it seems like a flimsy shield, the shield can actually withstand a lot of punishment. (+3 Vit) Deflect: Helix has the ability to deflect Digimon Abilities and Attacks with this shield with no damage to himself or the shield as long as the attackers stat falls under the corresponding defensive stat. Trivia: Any other information, such as why this digimon takes this form, or any special tidbits that are otherwise pointless in combat, or details on how the object works (that is not an ability). Determined by Staff PD: 28 "Horn and Nail" Core: Tessa, The Lightning Xros Greymon Equipment Type: Offensive- Great Sword and Dagger. Description: Curved Great Sword with a hooked dagger. The sword is light enough to wield with one hand. The sword looks like a sharp Xros Greymon's horn while the hooked dagger looks like a Greymon's claw. The Dagger can penetrate most surfaces and is used for stunning attacks in combination with the sword. The sword may be light enough to wield in one hand, but can be used to fling Helix around while using the dagger in combination to fling himself along the ground, or create a an amazing spin slash. The Sword looks normal until you get up-close, which looks like the blade is traced with lightning. VIT: 8 ATK: 10+3(Due to Ability) DEF: SPD: 7+3(Due to Ability) WIS: 7 Abilities: Lightning makes you faster... Right?: Lightning channeled through the sword and dagger make Helix move faster while having Tessa Digiequipped (+3 Speed) Power of the BIN: While Tessa is digiequipped the power of Greymons is bestowed upon him allowing him to stand off with the strongest of champions and hit harder to boot (+3 Attack) Just like Tessa...: Helix has the ability to use Tessa's Lightning Rush ability, allowing him to charge the sword and dagger with electricity, increasing his speed and using his blade to ram and rend. Trivia: The dagger is kept in a special sheeth that comes with the Digiequipping that can be removed with ease and great speed. The curved sword is electrically charged and attaches to his armor. Determined by Staff PD: 32 "Cold Steel Defender" Core: Alexandra; The Snow MetalGreymon Equipment Type: Hybrid: Defensive Exo-skeleton that enhances physical abilities. Description: Alexandra changes into a strong exoskeleton that is hidden under his clothing/armor. Attaching to his arms, legs, and back allowing him to move faster, grant strength, and allow him to withstand a lot of punishment. The exo-skeleton can act as under armor. If Helix breaks or is severally injured, the exoskeleton will extend into partial armor, shielding that spot. Adjusting the bone or sealing the wound so he can continue fighting. Wearing the Exo-Skeleton allows Helix to manipulate Ice/Snow like Alexandra. VIT: 15 ATK: 10 DEF: 15+5 from ability. SPD: 10+5 from ability. WIS: Abilities: Living Armor(Not sentience): The Exo-Skeleton can rush to seal wounds or form around broken bones, acting as a splint and preventing it from breaking further. The Exo-Skeleton acts as addition armor for said areas. The armor is very thin and fits under most armor/clothing. Torn Wings: Helix gains Alexandra's torn wings that extend from whatever Helix has over the Exo-Skeleton, granting him the ability to take flight and increasing his speed. (Speed +5) Indestructible, Kind of...: The Exo-skeleton reinforces the armor and clothing worn by Helix, granting him more defense. (+5 Defense) Ability Sync: While Alexa and Tessa are digiequipped together, Alexa boosts the power of lightning Helix can channel, and the power of Lightning Rush. The Exo-Skeleton can also charge itself with lightning and discharge it in an AoE around Helix after using Lightning Rush. (AoE is 40 feet, with 5 feet away being the most damage (2x), 10 feet is high damage(1.5x), 15 is normal damage(1x), 20 to 40(.75 -> .25) feets deals least amount of damage.) Trivia: The Exo-Skeleton is hidden and normally cannot be seen through armor/clothing, if wearing light clothing the Exo-Skeleton can be seen. Determined by Staff PD: 50 "Watcher's Armor" Core: Artorias, The Alpha Cerberusmon Equipment Type: Defensive- Armor Set with Cape. Description: Artorias changes into a full set of armor for Helix, overwriting whatever armor he is currently wearing, absorbing all effects of clothing, accessories, and the current armor set. The dark set of armor has two of the heads from Alpha Cerberusmon's form as shoulder pauldrons. One has Fire Opal in the eye sockets, while the other has White Topaz in the eye sockets. The gemstones corespond with the elements each head grants. the rest of the armor has broken spikes on the arm pieces, along the side of each leg and several broken spikes around the helmet. The helmet allows for optimal vision with no additional blindspots. The boots of the armor have clawed grips allowing Helix to hold ground and traverse a lot of terrain with ease. The armor looks heavy and stiff, but it is very flexible and light. The cape has the seal of the Amatarasu server. VIT: 15 ATK: 15 DEF: 22+3 From Ability. SPD: WIS: Abilities: Total Sentience: While Digiequipped Alpha Cerberusmon can communicate via telepathy, feel pain, react, and assist Helix. Artorias can, if he chooses, end the digiequip and return to his normal state. Frozen Total Defense: Helix can react to 2 attacks per a day(thread), the armor creates ice that rises to his defense, defending him against said ability or attack. Juggernaut: While wearing this armor, Helix has a very hard time being displaced when defending, or being knocked off his course if charging. This also increases this strength of his defense (+3) Unrelenting Fury: While Helix is wearing the armor, if he were to ever go unconcious or lose control of himself, the armor will take over, acting in the best way to protect Helix, finish the encounter, and get medical attention. Can only happen Once per a thread/day. Trivia: Helix's NeoDevimon Mask's eyes change to purple instead of red while Artorias is digiequipped. All three heads of Alpha Cerberusmon speak to Helix while he is wearing this armor, though each obey his command, they do provide 3 different spectrums of thought and idea. Alrighty; got all of the assessment done. So, top to bottom, here we go! Artorious Dobermon: - Move 1 Burst: add that it gives +3 SPD boost; you probably don't need to talk about coating the knife with oil since that's really not part of Dobermon's ability. - Move 2 Infernal Howl: needs number/size/clear-scaling. - Move 3 CQC: We think you should move this under "Abilities" instead of describing it as a move. Alpha Cerberusmon: - Mighty Roar of the Keeper: We would like to add the limitation of once per topic (day) and that it wears off after 4 rounds. - Oh, Think you can escape?: Requires cooldown; can only be used a certain amount of times per thread (day); "Transformation" is a digivolution/slide action, so it needs to take up an action count of it's own and cannot be combined as 1 single action with this attack; so taking it out and just sliding when you desire as 1 separate action. - Armor of Ice and Fire: We think this should be moved to Abilities, and will give +3 DEF. Alpha Cerberusmon (Werewolf Mode) - Strength doesn't equate to Power: This means you will never use your ATK stat...right? XD You should take the extra points out, bring ATK down to the base of 9, and add those points into SPD. - Slice and Dice: I believe you are sacrificing DEF to SPD, not ATK? - Towering Inferno: We feel that spending a coin should not be necessary since he should already have the ability to shoot fire, but if you would like, you can keep this as a "stronger fire attack" and add 3 WIS for the coin-related fire attack. - Break the Seal: Boost WIS and SPD, but not ATK because you wouldn't be using ATK. Hunter Gatomon - Typo in personality: Cynical, not Sinacle. XD - Relating to everything else dealing with Hunter: It's the Digimental of Diligence, not Reliability. XD Parker changed one of them for you in the SandTylomon section, but we weren't sure if you intended to use Reliability for other things, or if it was meant to be Diligence. MagnaAngemon - Excalibur's Wrath: We would like to have this ability take time to charge, where it gains 2 charges per turn; 4 charges max; 1 charge is used per slash; +3 WIS to attacks that uses the charge(s). - Archangel's Light: We would like to split this ability into 3 seperate blessings, where each blessing takes an action, and the three Blessings work the same way as Lia's arrows: +5 to ATK & WIS, or +5 to DEF, or +5 to SPD. And keep the mechanic so that Blessings fade when healed, can't be blessed again in that same combat. Digiquips Sand Shield - We like Deflect, but we would like for it to be described as "high chance" instead of being "definite" that the attack will be deflected if the PD requirements are met, because other factors may play in.
