Saw Star Trek: Beyond in the theater last night. It was better than I expected.

I know the die-hard trekkers are loathe to give up any of the established characters for others, but they need to lighten up. Even James T. Kirk won't be around forever ... although he's giving it a good try.

Watched Superman Man of Steel because it links with Batman v Superman. B v S is wierd as hell and the storyline is all over the place. Not even finished it. 2 hours out of 3+ hours watched so far.

Watched the new ghostbusters film. Definitely aimed at a female audience but it was good all the same. The ghosts looked cooler and there seemed to be more humour.
