The example addresses the lack of visual distinction between spoilerboxes and the resulting difficulty in navigating through the large amount of information provided per-update using the newly provided Tabs, as well as slight reorientation of the spoilerboxes with the aim of reducing the amount of spoilerboxes that need to be opened per single "group" or unit as much as possible, and ultimately the amount of navigation out of a single viewpoint that must be taken when comparing data in preparation for taking action.
aka i have to scroll up and down all the time whenever i read an update and the spoilerboxes just keep going deeper and i wish there could be tabs within tabs, it takes so long for me to read everything
and even if I don't need to "read everything", necessarily, compression shouldn't just make the large amount of data fit on a small bit of page initially -- it should make as much related data fit within a single "aperture" (ie I scrolled up and I can see this much stuff). Tabs are amazing because you can have one "aperture", but contain five times the vertical length without having to navigate up and down. Comparing Enemies to yourself is as easy as pressing a button.
- Some minor rearranging under the Character mini sheets, only thing that should have moved is the Status Effects, which are now completely in the open instead of in a spoilerbox. Statuses are something I consider to be important to think of right away, and I doubt there will ever be enough of them at a time to warrant an entire box : P
- Added Player and Enemy Condition tab. For the most part, I don't concern myself too much with every detail about everyone ever, but the amount of navigation it takes to check everyone's HP, statuses, etc, on both the player and enemy side makes looking for everything kind offf a chore. The flavor text can be a wild time, but if the only things I need to know in a given moment are all cluttered in with other information that- while I find it useful- I don't need as often as just the simple HP and ENE, it's not so easy to just pick up and take a look.
- In RPGs, you get to see the characters' HP and ENE, maybe their class and status conditions-- and that might be all you need to play casually. While it's possible to look for more detailed information by navigating a little, this is made easy by opening up temporary windows over or even around your view. This isn't a visually rendered RPG, but the same principle still remains.
- these updates are a niiiiightmare to navigate through, raw-text wise. clunk-enating them further with tabs (which don't even show up during previews) is definitely not the aim. Just an experiment, it looks nice to me :0 And I hope it sees more use in these kinds of games, where visual data compression is much-needed as things grow more and more complex.

SIDEQUEST: THE BLACKSMITH'S NIECE! It's time to forge ahead!
[tab=Battle Summary]
Turn Prose Roselyn's priority soars as she casts several spells, curing Reyn of a bleeding wound, toughening Josephine's hide, and causing her own muscles to bulge alongside Helm and Jango.
While this is happening, Helm speaks up.
"Dammit! I can't slow that Golem at all... someone, get Josephine out of that monster's reach! I'm going for the bandit!" He said, before charging Gachum and swinging his Copper Saber with renewed vigor. "You wanna tell me what you want with the lady, or do you want me to force it out of you?"
Gachum took the blow full force, the wind knocked out of him as he bent double, but he straightened up and smiled - how you could tell he was smiling, you don't know. It's kind of creepy, actually. "You? Force me? My dear wanderer, you are nothing to me but another speck on my journey to glory. Strike me down and I will rise again, like a weed through concrete...You have no power to stop me, foolish manling!"
Everyone within earshot paused a moment, even the Ogre - the term "manling" was a new one. Just what is up with this guy!? Only Vampires speak like that...and he's definitely no Vampire, out under the Sun like this without protection.
Everyone's silence is broken by Jango, who has quietly approached Gunbo from behind and stabbed him in the back. Twice.
"Let me show you how it's done, Gun-bolts-for-brains!" Jango says, smirking at his oh-so-clever insult. Watching the machine begin to turn, Reyn immediately swaps to his Spear & Shield and takes a running leap, impaling Gunbo, before turning and doing the same to the Large Ogre - who begins howling in rage.
Gunbo looks at his wounds. He looks at Jango, and raises his pistols one last time...and then twitches, and falls to the ground, blood leaking from the holes in his torso. Gachum sees this and snarls audibly.
"YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT, ANIMAL FILTH!"
A collective gasp went up from the group. Nobody insults a proud Wilder so!
"What...did you call me?" Reyn all but whispered, but it was too late to defend or talk - Gachum came barreling at him, slicing him across the chest and opening a wound under his armor, somehow. Reversing his motion, Gachum then drew back his knife and thrust it hard towards his neck. Landing a hit on a Critical location, he deals 16 damage to Reyn. While Reyn is reeling from the sudden stab, the Ogre lumbers over, roaring, and swings hard...only to miss as Reyn trips over a rock and stabs his spear in to the dirt to catch his balance. Furious, the Ogre holds its warhammer above its head and begins charging up its energy...
"Reyn! Please, be careful, lad!" shouts Wander, who quickly casts Healing Ray on the wounded Wilder. While he was busy handling that, Josephine did the unthinkable - she rushed Gachum and slashed him with her knife.
"You arrogant BASTARD!" she screamed, her knife cutting deep in to Gachum's left arm. "Who do you think you're after, here!? Leave them OUT OF THIS! I'M THE ONE YOU'RE CHASING! So FIGHT! ME!"
...What a declaration! It seems Ms Vinter has finally found her fighting spirit! Slashing again, she cuts in to his right arm this time as he hastily tries to block her vicious blows.
Despite the whirlwind of words and activity, Janet simply calmly aims another use of Needleround at the Ogre.
Proseless Summary =PLAYER PHASE= - Jango, controlled by Kmj10, enters the Player Zone and Strong Attacks the Large Ogre twice[7x2] for the bracketed damage. Spent 20 ENE.
- Helm, controlled by Tempest, uses a Hard Attack on Gachum[22], dealing the bracketed damage. Spent 15 ENE.

I didn't count up the ENE spent, but it was a lot.
- Reyn, controlled by GM_3826, switches to Spear&Shield and uses Piercing Pounce twice, successfully; once on the Large Ogre[38] and once on Gunbo[54], dealing the bracketed damage, aggroing the Ogre, and Shocking Gunbo, preventing him from using Attacks, though he can still use Skills and Items. Spent 40 ENE.
=ENEMY PHASE= - Gachum lands a crit on Reyn for 16 damage and inflicted Bleed with a Hard attack.
- Gunbo dies to Bleed Damage. 1x Hand Grenade added to Party Loot.
- Large Ogre aggros to Reyn and swats at him, but misses. It begins charging an unknown attack.
=ALLY PHASE= - Wander heals Reyn back to full HP.
