Having inherited this system from a long line of successful storylines, we understand that our revisions may not be perfect. This section is used so you can recommend anything that you think would help the SL, or any buffs or nerfs that you feel are necessary. We welcome all suggestions and may even accept some of them!

Sincerely,

The Administration

This isn't a suggestion for change to the system so much as it's a suggestion for the staff and Battle Moders. I believe it was in Revival we implemented it but I make a rather heavy suggestion in writing up some Battle Mod Assistance pages.

(Since I lost the Revival link I think, here's an example from our docs)
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IziP489eZPPxRm8GLcUrRkZ93nbXISMDqaKr_TgEWdU/edit

Essentially BMA's were pre written pages to make a battle master's life much easier by having NPC information on hand, making math as simple as plug and chug in a calculator and having the moves all ready. We didn't have as much time to work on them to the lengths that I would have like to but with all this time you can write down suggestions to the BMs on how to run certain fights in case they can't make the connection to the appeal of the character. In other words like a module for DnD. Without it, you'll find some times where your BMs may be struggling to calculate and get an NPCs facts together, wasting precious time on everyone's account (themselves included). It's volunteer services, not a job.

Aim is a fossil if I've ever seen one. I just found out you can get a bot in your discord chat room to help out with dice rolls. Just as good as Aim I hear except, you know, Modern and not a tun off when you hear you have to give your phone number out when you make a new Aim account.

This is the link you go to if you want to install or test the dice function in Discord.

I know I'm going to regret this:

Upper/Lower body items got buffed, on average they're giving 15-19% in their final stage (30-38% total). Full Body is still 20% to 30%, so those might need a buff in terms of stats granted.

Also, are we instating item upgrades? Something like spending the cost difference to increase an item into its better form, like upgrading a General Vest [700z] to a Sturdy Vest [1,000z] by paying 300z.

You aren't wrong. I'll look through items and see if I want to lower Upper/Lower body stats or raise Full Body. Leaning towards nerf honestly.

As for upgrades, My plan was not to instate upgrades. The multiple tiers presents a choice. Save up for the most expensive or buy a cheap one so you don't die and lose all your z. I'll consider it, though.

Fair. I was ulterior-motive trying to get my starting jacket some more value ;)

I want to buff Burning Slash and Hell Blade Rush. As it stands you need to learn 2 sigs, take up both slots, and whiff one just to attempt the other all for 10 ki and a miniscule pay off. There's a reason they've never been used. I want to suggest the following buff:

Burning Slash [PHYSICAL, WEAPON]
Description: After performing Burning Attack as a distraction, the user teleports themselves behind the opponent with their sword in hand. As the opponent turns around, the user unleashes a barage of quick slashes. When the barrage of sword attacks is finished, the user thrusts their palm into the opponent's face and unleashes a wave of Ki.
(If you know Burning Attack this attack cost -2 Training Days to learn and does not take up a Signature slot)
Effect: RESTRICTED x1. If you performed Burning Attack and it was STOPPED, perform this attack in the same turn. Physical attack doing (15% Power) Damage per hit. Your attack roll is 6d30 for this attack. If your sixth dice is successful, this attack does +(15% Power) Damage. Costs 4 KI Points.
Requirements: Sword, Burning Attack
Training Days: 4

Hell Blade Rush [PHYSICAL, ENERGY, WEAPON, BEAM]
Description: Wielding their sword, the user charges at the opponent and unleashes with a barrage of sword slashes. The user then kicks the opponent, sending them crashing to the ground. As the opponent rises to their feet, the user meets them with their palm held only a matter of inches from their face, blasting them with a wave of firey Ki.
(If you know Hellfire Blitz this attack costs -2 Training Days to learn and does not take up a Signature slot)
Effect: RESTRICTED x1. Use only if you performed Hellfire Blitz and it was STOPPED. Perform this attack in the same turn. Physical attack doing (15% Power) Damage per hit. Your attack roll is 8d30 for this attack. If your eigth dice is successful, this attack does +(25% Power) Damage. Costs 4 KI Points.
Requirements: Sword, Hellfire Blitz
Training Days: 4

This way you're not spending 8 days on effectively one signature you only get to sometimes use. Especially considering they're not even all that great.

Upper/Lower body were lowered to math Full Body.
